Harvey York's Rise to Power novel Chapter 221

“What are you trying to say, Quinn Zimmer.” Mandy Zimmer scolded as she had just been through a rough time. Mandy glared at Quinn.

“I think you know what I’m trying to say, don’t you?” Quinn replied with a smirk.

“I pitied you for having such a useless husband, but who would’ve known that you’re ‘that’ kind of a woman.”

“I heard that your husband hadn't even touched your hand for the past three years, I doubted it at first, but now I’m kinda convinced, since you had an affair!” Quinn ridiculed.

‘Affair?’

Mandy was outrageous when she heard this as she thought that Quinn was insulting her innocence.

“Quinn Zimmer, did you brush your teeth this morning? Your words stink! Don’t you know defamation is a crime?” Mandy scolded angrily.

“Wow someone’s not bold enough to admit what she’d done! Tell me, did you solve the issue of the commercial centre project?” Quinn talked back confidently.

“Of course I did!” Mandy answered.

“Oh yeah? Then tell me, how much did it cost?” Quinn asked with a smirk.

“It… didn’t… cost anything…” Mandy stuttered and answered out of consciousness. She recalled Harvey’s suspicion last night.

Regardless of the suspicions, the fact is that the problem was indeed solved and the progress went back to normal.

“Hah! It didn’t cost anything? Did you use some unusual ways?” Quinn accused.

“Mandy, Covey Chad is a well-known thug, you’re saying you settled the issue without using money? You’ve got to be kidding.” Zack Zimmer asked as he was also confused by how bold Mandy’s reply was. He looked down on her and thought that she couldn’t have solved it without selling her body.

At that moment, Zack thought that Mandy was such a slut that she could pretend nothing happened between her and Covey.

Pity Harvey York for being cheated on.
