Wendy shook her head and said, “The CEO told us that he won’t have time to meet any guests lately. But regarding the incident with the Zimmers, the CEO has asked me to take charge of that solely. So if you have any request, just tell me directly.”

Mandy took out a stack of documents and handed them to Wendy. She then said softly, “Then I’ll speak frankly with you. Miss Sorrell, the Zimmers’ shopping center project is indeed an exceptional asset. Although you’ve rejected us twice before, we still want to strive for the investment.”

Wendy read through the documents carefully. She then smiled softly and said, “Miss Zimmer, since you came here in person, I won’t make it bad and difficult for you. We can invest in the Zimmers’ shopping center…”

“Really?” Mandy appeared confused. She thought that she would be put in a difficult position, but it never occurred to her that it would be that easy.

“Don’t worry. Just listen to me first.” Wendy said, “But since you were being disrespectful toward York Enterprise before, we’ll only provide thirty million dollars as the investment funds this time around. Besides, we want to increase the profits which we’ll receive based on what we agreed upon before by ten percent. This is the contract we drafted up again. You can take it back with you to read through them. If there’s no problem with it, just sign it and send it back to us. Of course. If the Zimmers think that the conditions are too harsh, you can choose not to cooperate with us. After all, York Enterprise is not in need of this project.”

Mandy read through the contract seriously. But she found that the conditions which were outlined in the contract that time around were much harsher than the one she took back home the other day. The Zimmers were the ones who would have gained most of the benefits in the former contract. But it was different this time around. The Zimmers would not gain many benefits, and they might even suffer a small loss.

However, Mandy did not dare to say much. It was considered quite lucky since they were able to obtain the contract this time around.

Wendy was in no rush. She then said, “Miss Zimmer, just bring the contract home to discuss with the others properly. But York Enterprise isn’t that patient.”

Harvey still liked to buy white T-shirts from stalls set up by the streets. They were simple and casual. He felt quite comfortable wearing those clothes too.

It was the highest building in the entire business district in Niumhi. Standing on the highest floor and taking in the entire view of Niumhi, Harvey felt quite calm.

After looking at that view for a short while, he said calmly, “Actually, for a lot of people, they’re more than satisfied with it if they can stand at a place like this. Is that right?”

Standing not far behind him, Yvonne smiled faintly and said, “But for Mr. York, this place is rather short. How could you stay in such a humble place given your superiority?”

“Superiority?” Harvey broke into laughter. “I’m just an abandoned heir of the Yorks from South Light. If not because of the money I own, do you think that the Yorks would accept me again? Will my younger brother approve of me? No. They only accept and approve of the money I own.”

“But that is your right,” Yvonne said softly. At the same time, she was filled with admiration. Although Mr. York had been suffering miserably for three years, he had never led a decadent life. Now it was finally his moment to rise up again. The Yorks were quite frightened of him even though they were a family with such a status. During these days, no one from the Yorks dared to come and meddle in the affairs of York Enterprise. From there, one could see clearly.

“Make some arrangements. Integrate the properties and assets under the company’s name. Keep those outstanding ones and let go of those who are making us lose money, including all of those investments who were carried out before because of the various connections they have with the Yorks,” Harvey instructed calmly.

“Mr. York, wouldn’t we offend the Yorks to the extreme like that?” Yvonne reminded Harvey.

“Do you think that they’ll treat me like one of their own if I don’t offend them? We need to do something since the Yorks haven’t recovered yet. If we don’t do them now, we won’t have such a chance in the future… Yvonne, I do trust you. And, I’ll give you a month only. I hope that after a month, I’m the only one who can make decisions here and only my voice is heard in this company!” Harvey said softly.

Yvonne was stunned. She never thought that Harvey was such a decisive man who acted swiftly. Moreover, he wanted to remove those people who the Yorks had placed in the important positions in York Enterprise before.

“But the Yorks…”

“They don’t dare to do anything for the time being.” Harvey smiled, and he did not want to dwell much on that subject. He then narrowed his eyes and gazed at the direction of the shopping center which the Zimmers had marked. “How are things going here?”

“Miss Sorrell had given the contract to madam for her to take back home. But the conditions in the contract this time around are rather harsh. The Zimmers might not agree to that,” said Yvonne.

“No. They’ll agree to it. Although thirty million dollars mean not much to us, the Zimmers are clutching at straws now. If we refuse to invest in them, I’m afraid that no one commercial bank will dare to approve a loan for them.” Harvey smiled faintly. He then said, “Ask Wendy to act accordingly and put up a show. She needs to appear quite superior and arrogant. Lastly, she needs to act like she finally agrees to the investment after much difficulty. We need to make the Zimmers understand that if Mandy didn’t put herself down to beg us, they wouldn’t even get the investment fund in the first place.”
