Mandy looked at Cecilia seriously. After a short while, she nodded and said, “Yes, you do have a great chance. But there’s a problem. You have a lot of rivals…”

“Eh?”

“Although I haven't met the CEO yet, I've met the others. His secretary, manager, and even the female receptionist are quite sexy and charming. There were a lot of girls which surrounded the shop, looking at that pair of shoes. Even after Cecilia and Mandy looked at that pair of shoes, they were quite charmed by that too.

That pair of shoes was extremely exquisite. They heard that it was a limited edition which the shop collaborated with another brand exclusively. There were only a pair of shoes like that in the entire Niumhi.

Harvey glanced at the price from outside. It was sixteen thousand dollars.

“If you like it, just try it.” Seeing that Mandy was quite interested in that, Harvey dragged her into the shop.

Mandy did not reject him, but she smiled and said, “Didn’t you see how much is that? My salary is low, and I can’t afford that. Don’t tell me that you’re going to buy that for me, are you?”

Now Mandy believed that Harvey was working for his classmate.

Harvey rolled his eyes, and he did not want to bother about that woman who was quite boy crazy. He then smiled at Mandy before he turned around and said to the employee beside them, “Beautiful girl, could you please take that pair of shoes down for us, so that she can try on them?”

The employee was a girl in her mid-twenties and she had almond-shaped eyes. At that moment, she sized Harvey up. When she noticed the fact that Harvey was using an outdated phone, she frowned subconsciously. She then said in annoyance, “I’m sorry. There’s a rule here in this shop. If you don’t want to buy the pair of shoes, you can’t try them on. You may go out of the shopping center to take a look around. There are a lot of stalls by the road. A pair of shoes only cost around a few dollars there. You can try them on any way you like…”

As she said that, she took a glance at Mandy. Soon, she understood the whole picture now. ‘This pauper wants to act smug and superior in front of the goddess. Why doesn’t he have any self-awareness?
