“Mandy, we have never met each other since we graduated.” Wyatt looked at Mandy intensely. “If it was someone else, certainly I can’t do anything about that. But it’s you, I’ll definitely think of a way for you. Wait for a moment here…

Wyatt glanced at Harvey in confusion. ‘This man wears such cheap clothes. How poor and pathetic he looks! Why is he here by their side? Is he some kind of servant at her home?’

Cecilia laughed softly, and said in a low voice, “It seems like Mr. Johnson has been staying abroad for so long. You’re unaware of the news of former classmates like us. This is Mandy’s live-in husband. He’s been married to Mandy for three years now, but he doesn’t get to touch even her fingertips…”

“Is that so? It turns out that you’re the Zimmers’s live-in son-in-law. You’re the legendary good-for-nothing! I’ve heard about you.” Wyatt broke into laughter. “But we don’t welcome people like you here. Please leave. This isn’t the place where you should come.”

Harvey glanced at Wyatt and said coldly, “You’re just a manager at a restaurant. To put it nicely, you’re a manager. But if not, you’re just a waiter. If you can’t get us a private room, just be frank with us. Why are you looking for such an excuse?”

Harvey was filled with contempt. Northland Restaurant owned some of the shares at York Enterprise. Harvey had read through the documents related to the restaurant a few days ago. That restaurant had a rule in which the customers needed to make reservations in advance. Besides, the rules there were extremely harsh. Wyatt was just a mere manager. Even if the owner of the shop came, he or she might not be so bold as to say that they could get a private room soon.

“You… Just you wait and see. I’ll go and arrange for a private room now.” Hearing the live-in son-in-law act boldly and ridicule him, he was extremely angry. He would certainly get a private room that day no matter what.

After Wyatt went into the restaurant, Cecilia glared at Harvey sternly and said, “Harvey, do you know how difficult it is to book a private room here? If you reserve it half a month in advance, you may not even get the private room. I’m so kind as to bring you over here to let you take a look at the place. How dare you, offending Wyatt! If we don’t get a private room later, I’ll blame you for it!”

“Then we won’t eat here. So what? Will we die even if we don’t eat here?” Harvey pursed his lips, looked at Mandy and said, “ Dear, do you want to eat here?”

“Not so…” Mandy felt slightly guilty. She was rather interested in that restaurant which was quite popular among internet celebrities. But there were a lot of things which happened to the Zimmers lately that she did not have time to make a reservation with the restaurant. Now that she heard that Wyatt could get a private room for them, she was slightly eager.

Looking at Mandy’s facial expression, Harvey knew it then.

Wyatt certainly could not get that done since he was not that capable. So Harvey could only take out his phone and send a message to Yvonne quickly. The others might not be able to get a private room in Northland directly, but York Enterprise had always had an exclusive private room there. He just needed to ask Yvonne to notify the restaurant about that.

In the office of Northland.

The owner of the restaurant was wearing a suit. He did not even raise his head as he was looking at his phone. He then said coldly, “Wyatt, I know whose son you are. But you should know that Northland belongs to the Yorks from South Light. I’ll fire whoever who dares to break the rule in our restaurant. Ask them to leave. But do remember to be polite to them. Don’t ruin our reputation.”

Wyatt wiped off his cold sweat, nodded, and said, “Sir, is there really no way around it? Don’t we have a VIP private room which has not been used at all? Is it possible?”

A bang was heard.

That restaurant owner stood up all of a sudden and slapped Wyatt directly. He then scolded Wyatt, “Are you out of your mind? That is the private room exclusively for the CEO of York Enterprise. Even if it’s not in use, we can’t make use of that! Do you want to suffer terribly because of it?”

Hearing that, Wyatt’s facial expression worsened. He could only touch his face and walk out of the office. He was put in a difficult position. The goddess was right there, but he could not make use of that to let her owe him a favor...

A creak was heard.

Suddenly, the door of the office was opened. The shop owner had a strange facial expression. He then said, “Do you have a Zimmer from among your friends? Is she the young lady from the Zimmers?”

“Yes!”

“Then just bring them in. We’ll let them use the private room which belongs to York Enterprise.”

Wyatt was stunned. He did not know what had happened. He could only walk out of the restaurant subconsciously.

“Wyatt, did you get us a private room?” At the reception, Cecilia glanced at Harvey smugly and said.

“Yes.” Wyatt nodded subconsciously. He did get the private room, but it was so strange. It seemed like some influential and powerful people had notified the restaurant about that. If not, how was it possible that they could get the private room which was exclusively for York Enterprise given the temper of the restaurant owner?

“Mandy, hurry up and thank Wyatt. If not, we won’t be able to get into the restaurant,” said Cecilia quickly.

It was beyond Mandy’s expectation that Wyatt could indeed arrange a private room for them. At that moment, she nodded and said, “Wyatt, I’m aware of the rule you have here in the restaurant. I never thought that you can make an exception for us. Thank you!”
