Harvey York's Rise to Power novel Chapter 50

“Yes, yes!” Kevin nodded quickly. He did not dare to think about the collaboration at this moment.

After a while, he sent Harvey out of the showroom and saw him driving away in the Panamera. Then only Kevin realized that his whole body was soaking wet.

“Mr. Quinn, I don’t understand why you…” The little chief looked puzzled.

Slap!

Kevin slapped her. “Do I have to explain to you whenever I do something? Remember! Whoever dares to spread even half a word about what happened today, I will kill him!”

After leaving the automotive city, Harvey saw that the time was a bit late. Thus, he did not return to the company. Instead, he went to the mall to buy something after sending a message to Mandy, preparing to take it home.

On the other hand, Mandy felt a little shy when she learned that Harvey was going home. However, she also finished her work quickly and returned home.

In the living room, Lilian was holding her phone, her expression was a little awful. Senior Zimmer had just called her and scolded her just now, asking her to bring Mandy and Harvey to go to the Zimmer family to explain about the contract tonight.

Although she did not know what happened, Lilian unconsciously felt that Harvey must have caused some serious trouble again.

Her expression changed when she saw Mandy came home. She said solemnly, “Why are you back so early today? Where is that worthless trash?”

Mandy said softly, “Mother, he just sent me a message, saying that he will be back in a while.”

“Okay! Let’s not talk about him!” Lilian was mad the entire day. She stared at Mandy. “Tell me. What’s the matter with you today? Angel said that you met with Kevin and left within minutes, what the hell is going on?!”

Mandy hesitated and said, “Mother, I met Harvey!”

“What about him? Don’t tell me that you are moved by him because of the previous hostage incident.” Lilian was annoyed. “I’m telling you, Mandy. I’ll never change my view of that trash just because of that little incident!”

“Think about it carefully. During the three years of marriage, have you been happy for a single day? Look at other people’s husbands and your husband! Look at how our status in the Zimmer family has declined over the past three years! If it’s not because of this hapless trash, we won’t be so unlucky! Anyway, you have to go on a date with Kevin tomorrow whether you like it or not! Do you understand?!”

She then took out her cell phone and dialed a number while she was talking. The name displayed on the screen was Kevin.

“Aunt Yates, is there anything?” Kevin was talking softly on the other end of the phone. He started breaking a cold sweat. He would not dare to answer the call if he did not think of Harvey’s low-key instructions.

Lilian glared at Mandy. She then smiled and said, “Kevin, Mandy was a little uncomfortable at noon today. She might have neglected you. Please don’t take it personally. I’ll call the shots for both of you. How about having a meal together tomorrow?”

Her tone was so gentle as if she was talking to her son-in-law.

Kevin who was on the other end broke out in cold sweat and wetted the shirt that he had just dried. He was a little awkward and said, “Aunt Yates, I think…Mandy is excellent, but I don’t deserve her. I’m not the one for her…”

“Huh?”

“Also, I think she and Harvey make a good couple. They are a good match. I will not try to separate them anymore. It’s ominous.” Kevin hung up the phone quickly after he finished talking, for fearing that he might accidentally say something wrong.

He was planning to find Harvey sometime again. How dare he hit on Mandy? Was he not seeking death?

“This…” Lilian was confused. What was going on? Did Kevin not always treat her daughter like a goddess? Why did he become like this suddenly?

Meanwhile, the rumble suddenly came from outside the villa. Lilian glanced over unconsciously. She was shocked.

A brand new special edition of Porsche Panamera stopped at the gate of the villa.

What shocked Lilian, even more, was that the person who got out of the car at this moment was actually…
