At the Zimmers’ residence.

The people from the Zimmers looked at each other helplessly. After a short while, the lot of them fixed their gazes upon Zack. At that time, the entire truth was revealed.

Harvey smiled faintly, and he retreated to the corner. What would happen subsequently was none of his business anymore. If the Zimmers were not stupid, they should know what to do then.

A slap was heard.

Senior Zimmer stepped forward and walked toward Zack. He then slapped Zack directly and vigorously. But at that moment, Zack only touched his face, and he did not dare to say anything.

“How useless! You disappoint me greatly! It’s a waste since I’ve always raised you as an heir. But you…” Senior Zimmer was very angry that his body shook ceaselessly.

“Grandpa, I didn’t mean for that to happen. I just talked to the female receptionist for a short while. Who knew that she’s the CEO’s woman?” In that instant, Zack regretted it deeply.

Why don’t you go to York Enterprise to plead for mercy tomorrow?”

Before Mandy could speak, they heard another sound.

They turned around, and soon they were filled with disgust. ‘Why did this jinx come again? Is this the place for a live-in son-in-law to raise his opinion?’

“Harvey, does this ever concern you? You’re just a live-in son-in-law. You’re terribly useless!” Somebody scolded him.

“Don’t think that we’ll listen to you since you found a video from god-knows-where and used it as evidence here. We don’t need a good-for-nothing to give his opinion here!”

“That’s true. Grandpa is talking to Mandy. What does it have anything to do with you?”

“Why doesn’t it concern me? Mandy is my wife. She was wronged for no reason just now. It’s fine even if you don’t give her any explanation. But you immediately asked her to take responsibility for the sake of your interests. You even ask her to go there in person to plead for mercy. How come there’s such a thing in the whole wide world? Harvey said.

“Wife?”

Hearing what Harvey had said, most of the Zimmers burst into laughter.
