Heart Hunting novel Chapter 134

They came to the shore and were relieved at last.

Poppy Green who was exhausted and lay on the ground while panting.

Kenny silently examined large or small wounds on his hands, waist, and thigh.

Poppy Green looked around at the strange surroundings and asked him, "Do you know where this is?"

Kenny didn't even raise her eyebrows. "I don't know."

Poppy Green noticed that he was sitting there and very quiet all the time. She came close to him with the faint light and saw that his hand seemed to have some blood. She grabbed his hand and observed it carefully. Then she was surprised, "Why are you bleeding so much?"

She recalled the sharpness of the rocks and he had to use his hands to hold these rocks at every landing point. Her mood became complicated again.

"It doesn't matter!" Kenny said with ease and began to open his backpack and turn everything out one by one.

Poppy Green was a little surprised. This backpack had all kinds of tools for survival in the wild, such as ropes, Swiss Army knife, torch, liquid lighter, first aid medicine bottles, compressed biscuits and protein sticks, metal kettle, simple medicines and medical tools, garbage bags and so on

Fortunately, the backpack was a waterproof special bag, these things were intact.

Kenny was not in a hurry to deal with the wounds. He stood up and walked around. It was dark and he could only see a little shadow. There was heavy fog around, which might be caused by the heavy dew and water vapor near the water source.

His feet made a sound from time to time while stepping on the ground. He said, "We are in a tropical forest. Are you hurt?"

“Just a little bit of a cut on the foot, it's nothing." Poppy Green stood up neatly, walked up to him and asked, "Are we going to find a place to rest now?"

Kenny nodded. "I think it's just ahead. It seems that the terrain there is flat compared to this side, and it's close to the river."

"Well." Poppy Green took the initiative to pack everything into his backpack and was just about to carry it up, but Kenny took it over, "I'll do it."

"Don't look down on me!" She didn't grab it and strode ahead.

Kenny followed her while smiling.

Poppy Green found a lot of fallen leaves nearby and swept away some broken leaves. "You just sit here and have a rest. I'll find some firewood to make a fire."

She was quite experienced in living in the wild and knew what kind of wood to pick up to make a fire, which wood would be the easiest and most vigorous.

“Let me do it?"

"Kenny, Do you think I'm disabled or missing my arms and legs? Will you die if let me do something?"

"OK, you go." Kenny was too lazy to argue with her.

Poppy Green went to the side. Kenny who was sitting there was not idle and took out the kettle and compressed biscuits, then the medicine.

A quarter of an hour later, Poppy Green came back with a lot of firewood in her hand and told him, "You make a fire. I'll go there and pick up some more."

Kenny had made a fire when Poppy Green came back again. Their place was lighted up at last and they could finally see each other's faces.

Poppy Green sat next to Kenny who handed over the kettle. "Drink first."

She didn't pretend and took a big drink, and then she directly crossed her hand to help him disinfect wounds when she saw him start to deal with it.

"Let me do it!"

"I can handle it myself."

“Your arms and legs are cut so much, and your hands and feet are not flexible. Can't you let me who is a healthy person treat your wound?" Poppy Green was so annoying.

"I don't need your help because I'm not disabled or missing of arms and legs." Kenny was as stubborn as she was. He patted her hand and disinfected himself with one hand.

“Good-heartedness is not recompensed."

After Kenny had dealt with the injury, he found that she had put up a small wooden frame on which to put clothes near the fire and dry them.

He took off his coat first and put on it. Poppy Green inadvertently looked at his waist and frowned when her eyes stayed on a large bruise, "Why are you injured here?"

Kenny looked down and thought that it was when he hit the water just now. He accidentally hit his waist against the rock under the water in order to cushion her up and should get the bruise at that time.

"Nothing serious." Kenny didn't explain much.

"Do you have any medicine oil?" Poppy Green couldn't bear it. In fact, she felt guilty. It was obvious that he must have been hurt when they slipped down just now.

"The capacity of the backpack is limited. Do you really think it's a bag of everything?"

Poppy Green was speechless and poked at the bruise. "Does it hurt?" the words was blurting out and couldn't be stopped.

Kenny didn't respond to her but looked at her vaguely. "Do you care about me?"

"I only care about you when I see you hurt for me. Don't be sentimental." Poppy Green didn't admit it.

Kenny's eyes darkened a little. He felt the clothes on the wooden shelf and knew they were dry. He picked them up and threw to her. "Take them to wear."

Poppy Green looked at him half naked. "What about you?"

"It's not cold to be near the fire. I'll wear them when your clothes are dry."

Poppy Green was still hesitating, but was pushed by him, “You even want me to force you change clothes?"

"Be serious!" Poppy Green picked up his clothes and went to the tree not far away to change them.

She didn't wear underwear, only his coat. Her long legs were exposed to the air. She put her clothes on the wooden frame after sitting down. Kenny took the opportunity to hold her in her arms and began to touch her.

Poppy Green didn't know what he was going to do and resisted, "Kenny, are you so fond of having sex in the wild?"

"Hey, that's a good idea!" He pressed her hands and raised her long leg while carefully checking to see if she was hurt.

She leaned directly against his arms while looking at his action and let him turn her legs.

The strong chest muscle was amazing. It was a moderate hardness feeling of leaning on it. Poppy Green was just leaning against his heart. The powerful heartbeat of "bang, bang, bang" sounded, and it seemed to be quiet all around.

The light of the fire brightened his handsome face. His eyebrows were slightly locked, and his eyes were very serious. His fingers were covered with a thin layer of cocoons which made her itch slightly when he rubbed her thighs. Gradually, she was a little distracted.

"Just a little scratch." He raised her right leg, poured down the disinfectant and treated her wound carefully. She came back while feeling a little bit of tingling, wanted to retract her feet, but was pressed by him, "I am helping you deal with the wound."

"I don't..."

"The protest doesn't work. Be quiet." He said with his big hand patting her hip, Poppy Green's face suddenly turned red, she gave him a good bite, "bastard, dare you to pat my ass?"

"Are you a dog?" He endured the pain and went on treating her wound.

"Hum!" Poppy Green ignored him.

After putting her down, they were quiet in front of the fire. Poppy Green suddenly looked at him with a lot of eyes.

He was being stared and felt uncomfortable, "Why are you looking at me all the time?"

Poppy Green deliberately asked with a smile, "Why do you like me so much?"

It had to be said that his appearance surprised and moved her. No one cared about her live and death all the time. Over the years, she would have died long ago if it wasn't for the belief of revenge.

Kenny was silent for a long time.

Poppy Green waited for a full minute, but she asked again before he could answer, "You've risked your life to rescue me, and you don't admit that you like me?"

Her eyes rarely smiled while watching his face change.

But to her disappointment, he didn't change his face. After a long time, He said in a deep voice when Poppy Green thought he couldn't answer, "If you don't admit it again when you are back, see how I deal with you."
