Heart Stolen by A Heartless Man novel Chapter 20

The loud closing sound made Jensen and Hattie trembled.

Hattie closed her eyes.

Jensen sighed and walked to her side to help her tuck in the blanket, "Why are you suffering this much?"

"If I don't do this, it will not end today." Hattie opened her eyes and said, "I'm sorry Jensen, I seem to have involved you again."

"Don’t talk nonsense." Jensen said, "Afterall, I am planning to develop abroad, the Gordon family's still can't reach that far yet."

The expression on Hattie's face was a bit tired.

"Tired? Sleep a little more, I'll stay here with you." Jensen touched her head and said softly.

Hattie slowly closed her eyes.

Jensen looked at her face with a complicated expression.

...

Damn it!

Greyson walked fast and finally couldn't help but stop, fiercely clenched his fist and smashed it towards the wall.

The nurse who passed by was startled and hurried to his side, "Sir! Do you... you need help?"

Greyson gave her a faint glance, "Get lost."

The nurse knew that he was not a person to mess with and saw that his hand was only red and not injured, so she silenced and quickly left.

Greyson's expression was gloomy. He looked at his swollen hand and sneered.

Greyson said Hattie was cheap. In fact, he was not that good either.

When he heard about Hattie's accident, he rushed to the hospital and never left her side day and night.

For her sake, he could even back out of the marriage with the Porter family.

But what about her?

As soon as she woke up, she got all mushy with Jensen, and even said she wanted to leave with Jensen?

What did she take Greyson for?

Hattie was a woman who was not worthy of mourning for!

Greyson deliberately ignored the pain in his heart, tensed his facial expression and left the hospital.

...

A few days in a row, Hattie was quietly recuperating in the ward. Her condition finally was better, and she could be transferred to the general ward. Greyson never set foot in the hospital again.

Jensen kept watch over Hattie every day.

Hattie's body was getting better and better, but her mental state was getting worse and worse.

Jensen looked at it with pain in his heart, but there was no other way.

"Hattie..." Jensen sighed and held her hand.

Hattie retracted, "What's wrong, Jensen?"

"Why are you in a bad mood?" Jensen's eyes dimmed and said.

"Nothing, I'm just a little sleepy." Hattie smiled.

Jensen looked at her expression and knew that it was futile to say anything, so he could only sigh, "We will go abroad after you are well."

"Okay." Hattie's eyes were a little dull, but she still smiled.

When Finnley walked in, he saw that scene.

He thought to himself that Hattie was really an easy woman.

But... if she really was with the boy from the King family, it seemed to save him the trouble.

Thinking about this, Finnley then coughed and slowly walked towards the bed.

Once Hattie saw him, she shivered slightly and said stiffly, "Uncle Morgan."

Jensen saw him and also greeted respectfully.

"Jensen, I want to eat some fruits, can you wash some over for me?" Hattie suddenly turned to Jensen and said.

Jensen naturally knew she was trying to get rid of him from there, so he obediently left.

When Finnley saw Jensen leave, he looked at Hattie with a smile on his face and said, "You're dating the young master of the King family?"

"Well, yes." Hattie said, "I will leave the country with him immediately after my injury heals, don't worry, I will definitely not disturb Master Morgan and Miss Porter's engagement and wedding."

"Is that so?" Finnley smiled, "I hope what you say is true, or your father... you know."

"I know you can rest assured." Hattie said, "Master Moss has already hated me so much."

"That's what I want to hear." Finnely said, "However, I am not at ease. You should know that my son had even wanted to withdraw from the marriage for your sake! During the time you were in a coma, he took care of you! What exactly is good about you?"

Hattie didn't know either.

"It's fine. I'm telling you, you better leave here with that King family boy as early as possible, better be stealthy and don't let Greyson know." Finnley said, "Otherwise, don't blame me for getting rid of you two, understand?"

"Understood," Hattie said.

"You are lucky, if you did not find the kid from the King family, you might..." Finnley sneered, "A person who is useless, what is the point of keeping it?"

Hattie secretly gritted her teeth, but her face did not show anything.

Finnley suddenly said, "Did you tell Greyson something?"

"What?" Hattie was still a bit confused, and immediately denied after thinking what he was asking, "I did not say anything!"

Finnley carefully observed her facial expression, and only after a long time did he say coldly, "It better be like this."
