I was sat with a hot drink in my hand looking at Indigo , who was sitting there silently as Elijah held her . She had argued with me and it had taken Elijah a lot to calm me down . I had been so angry that Fred had done this to her . More so , I was angry at myself for not seeing it .

Yes , I saw that with time she had become quieter , but people change with time . Never would I have thought she was being abused . I put her change down to her countless miscarriages , that they were the reason for her quieter mood and the emotions that sometimes filled her eyes .
