Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 159

Winnie suddenly gave a bitter smile, and then she answer Rufus's question after a moment of silence.

"Uncle, do you know Wendy?"

"Yes, she's coming back."

Seeing Winnie’s bitter smile and hearing the name of Wendy, Rufus had known why Brian wanted to separate with Winnie.

"Don't worry about it, Sir. There's nothing going on between me and Mr. Bennet. I just hope Luke can stay away from Penny so that he can grow up healthily."

Winnie had no hope for other things. She just wanted Luke to be safe.

"Winwin, don’t worry, I won’t allow her to be with Luke. I will not spare her if Brian and Grandfather do not punish her."

Rufus was still indignant. He would not forgive what Penny did to Luke. Penny would not have an easy life in the Bennet family.

Rufus paused at that. There was something he could not understand.

"Winwin, I don't understand why you are so kind to Luke. Brian is Luke's father. He can't do as much as you do."

Rufus had wondered about it for a long time, since the date he knew Winnie. It was impossible that she treated him as her own child even if she wanted to be with Brian.

Winnie did not answer, but continued to think.

Brian would know it soon. If he knew it, his family would know it, so it had no sense to hide it.

"Sir, how much do you know about it? You should know that Penny is not his mother..."

"You heard it from Luke?"

Rufus's anger subsided a little and his tone softened. He interrupted her, apparently she knew more than he thought.

"Some are from Luke, some is my personal experience."

Winnie lifted her eyes and looked at Rufus. There was sincerity in her eyes, as well as fact and truth.

"From experience?”

Rufus asked with some doubt.

"Right, because I am Luke's biological mother."

Winnie said seriously. No one could change this fact.

"You are Luke's biological mother?"

Rufus looked at Winnie in surprise.

He knew that Luke was born of surrogacy and he knew the reason. But it did not come to him that Luke's mother was silently protecting him.

"Right, I am Luke's biological mother, Megan is his younger sister. They are twins."

Winnie answered Rufus with a firm tone.

"Megan is a child of our family?"

Rufus was shock by that. It all came too suddenly. Even though he experienced a lot, he needed time.

So, that was the reason why Winnie was attentive to Luke. Megan was his grandchild, no wonder he liked Megan at the first sight.

"Yes. I was selfish. I didn’t want to give her to Brian, so I kept Megan."

Winnie was not calm as she thought of the past.

"Did Brian know?"

This seemed to be a more serious question.

"No, but he's suspicious and is taking samples from us for DNA tests. It won't be long before he finds out."

Rufus frowned. He did not ask more but think.

If Brian knew it, he would get the custody of Megan, which was cruel to Winnie.

A moment later.

"Winwin, what do you plan to do?"

Rufus asked.

"I am selfish, I want to live with my two children. But it is not to me. My plan is only a thought."

Winnie raised her lips in self-mockery, and then continued.

"Once Mr. Berry knows that Megan is his child, he will definitely take both Megan and Luke back. I think getting custody of my children will be hard. So it depends on Mr. Berry."

“What about Brian? Don’t you want to be with him? Only when parents and children live together, it would be the perfect ending."

Hearing that, Winnie showed an ironical radian.

"Sir, it's impossible. It's more difficult. Reality could not make the four of us live together, but love. Love is the pickiest."

"Mr. Berry likes Wendy, so he will not be with me."

Winnie had never dared to hope for a family of four, not to mention Brian would fall in love with her. The most important thing for her now was to keep the two children. To think of anything else was like a sin.

"Give me time, I will find a way. Don't worry, I won't let things get as bad as you think."

Rufus did not know what to do at the moment. He understood love and never interfered with Brian and Stella's marriage, because he wanted them to find their own love.

He did not want his children's happiness to be ruined by their career and family marriage, which was difficult to make it to a happy ending.

Now Brian liked Wendy, otherwise he would not ask Wendy to come back, or separate from Winnie.

But if Brian were with Wendy, Luke and Megan would have unknown future.

Two days later.

Daniel's death was eventually ruled a homicide by the police, making Winnie a suspect.

Paul sent two children to school in the morning, Winnie came to the police station.

"Miss Chambers, I'll pick you up later."

Before Winnie got off, Paul said politely.

"Ok, but Paul, don't call me Miss Chambers, call me Winwin."

With a warm smile, she reached for the door of the car.

"No, you are a guest, how can I address you so casually."

In the eyes of Brian, Winnie was an important person, so he must be polite to her.

"I live in the surburb and you helped me a lot. That is a deal, just call me Winwin. If you don't agree, I won't need you to pick me up. I'll take a taxi."

Winnie mischievously threatened Paul and got off the car without waiting for Paul’s answer.

Passing by the police station parking lot, Winnie saw Brian's car. She felt bitter in heart.

The police took Winnie to the case area, where Brian sat.

Winnie came and sat beside Brian.

"You are here."

Winnie said indifferently. It was they met for the first time on the plane.

"Yes, how are you, are you all right?"

Brian asked in a low voice, but the moment he saw Winnie, he was exulted.

"Yes, I am all right."

Winnie replied with a faint smile, but did not dare to raise her eyes to look at Brian's. Seeing his seductive eyes, Winnie feared she could not keep up the disguise.

“Who brought you here?”

Brian continued to ask in a deep voice.

"Paul sent me here."

Winnie answered and changed the topic. Such communication made her have more grievances.

"Have you found a replacement for me? I'll be back in the company in two days to handle the transition."

"Not yet. You don't have to go to the company, you can go to the handover when I get a replacement."

Winnie's physical quality was not good. Brian was afraid of her early work would be bad for her health, so it could only be arranged in this way.

"Well, ok. I won't go to the company until you call."

They said calmly, as if nothing had happened, but they felt sore in heart secretly.

"Winwin, I can recommend a company for you. The salary is high."

Brian had been thinking of various ways to make Winnie live a better life after leaving her.

"Where's the company?"

Winnie asked in a low voice, but no matter where the company was, its salary would not be as higher as that of the Berry Group. However, she could no longer work in there.

"Y Country, over there..."

"Thank you, but I can't go abroad. I can’t leave my aunt and Vanessa."

The last time Brian wanted her to go to the MT Software Company in A City. Winnie did not expect that he wanted her to go abroad. How much did he hate her, so that he wanted her to get far far away?

"Don't worry, even if I stay in B City, it won't affect your life. I will not contact you for anything. If I want to see Luke, I will call the chairman or your father. It won't put you on the spot."

Winnie repeatedly guaranteed, but it still could not make Brian feel at ease.

"If you don't trust me, I'll give you a letter of guarantee. Or we can delete the contact information."

With that, Winnie took out her mobile phone and without hesitation removed all contact information of Brian.

"I will keep my words and I will give you the letter of guarantee to you the next time you go to the suburbs."

"I go check with the police. I will leave you alone."

Winnie got up and left.

Looking at Winnie’s back, Brian felt his heart being torn apart.

Winnie could delete his contact information, but he could not. Even if they did not contact, he would keep her contact information, which was memory, care and love.

Winnie cooperated with the police for investigation and walked directly out of the police station. She wanted to call Paul, but she was afraid of bothering him, so she was to take a taxi.

Standing at the gate of the police station, she saw a taxi approaching in the distance and reached out her hand to stop it. Then she suddenly remembered that she had stopped a taxi in the same way the night she was kidnapped.
