Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 186

Hearing that, Brian frowned and did not know what to say next.

He had no psychological burden, by standing there without a word made each other embarrassed. He had been waiting since noon just to be with her for a while.

But Winnie did not give him a chance, so he could only brusquely broke in. Perhaps he had chosen the wrong topic and blocked his own path.

The room fell silent. Winnie did not speak and Brian did not know what to say.

After a while.

"Vanessa decided to go to college in B City?"

Brian's attitude was more conciliatory.

"Yes, I respect her choice."

Winnie said indifferently, as if they were strangers. And the atmosphere was awkward.

"I heard from Paul you bought a house near University B?"

Brian continued to ask and he could rest assured after getting positive answer.

"Yes, I did. We're going to move there when Vanessa starts school."

Winnie was still tepid.

Hearing that Winnie would stay, Brian was reassured. But when hearing that she would move away from here, Brian did not want her to leave.

"You and Leo..."

"Go out first if there is nothing I can do. My house is bought on loan, so I have to work hard to earn money while I rest, or the house will not be able to afford."

Winnie did not want to involve Leo. They had nothing to do with Leo.

When she heard about Leo, she decided to end their conversation immediately. Even if she had anything to do with Leo, it was not Brian’s business. She did not have to report to Brian.

Brian looked awkwardly at Winnie, who had no expression at all. She didn't speak and then turned around.

As he stretched out his hand to open the door, Winnie's soft voice came from behind him.

"Don't be so cold when the kids come back. They're very sensitive."

Brian could hear that Winnie only had temperature in her tone when talking about the children. She had no feelings for him anymore. Perhaps she had never had feelings for him at the beginning. And she was with him because of the children.

Although Winnie did not show a smiling face, Brian did not leave.

The family had dinner together in the evening. Winnie and Brian tried their best to show a friendly side in front of the children, so that the two children could not see anything.

After dinner, Brian and his two children were playing in the yard, and Winnie returned to her bedroom, citing work as an excuse.

She wanted to calm down to work, but Brian and the children were playing happily in the courtyard outside. Winnie could not calm down. From time to time, she went to the window to look at the three people.

Looking at them played happily, Winnie involuntarily became melancholy.

She was worried about whether Brian could still get along with her children as he did now after he knew the truth. Would he dislike the fact that Megan grew up in a lower class?

Would he get angry at her for hiding fact from him and vent his anger on her two children? Would she be deprived of custody and never see them again?

Thinking of these, Winnie was upset. And it was difficult to calm down to work.

So she went out and stood in the pavilion watching Brian and the children played happily. She did not bother them but walked out of yard alone and walked to the shade of tree on the road.

Brian and children were playing happily and Luke said.

"Daddy, I saw Auntie went out by herself."

Luke said, while pointing to the door.

"Alone?”

Asked Brian doubtfully.

"Yes."

After receiving a positive answer, Brian took out his mobile phone and called Winnie. But no one answered.

Something unpleasant happened today, which made him concerned. He had been alert.

When Paul and his father went to pick up the children, he did not feel rest assured and asked Albert to go with them.

Now Winnie went out by herself and did not answer the phone. He was worried.

After handing over the two children to Albert, he walked quickly out.

Out of the door, Brian saw Winnie, who was walking leisurely under the shade of the trees beside the road. Watching her lonely figure, Brian did not bother her but quietly followed behind.

However, seeing that, Penny was jealous.

From noon driven out of the house, Penny was waiting around the villa and would take revenge no matter who came out.

She would take revenge for all her humiliation which she had suffered this day. Even if she died, she would take one of the Bennet families with him, making them regret treating her like that.

However, they did not walk in or out along. And even a few of them picked up the children together.

She had been waiting for a whole afternoon and almost lost her patience. Finally, Winnie walked out alone. Penny was like a hunter saw the prey, and her eyes were filled with bloodthirsty indignation.

She had been watching Winnie walking forward and planned to make a move when Winnie got further, so that she could successfully escape.

But when she started the car, Brian walked out, following not far behind Winnie, silently guarding her.

Seeing this scene, Penny could not restrain the anger. Her hatred to Winnie reached to the extreme.

Trapped in her own thoughts, Winnie walked slowly forward. She just wanted to have a walk and did not notice Brian had been following her, nor the danger was coming.

But Brian was alert. Since he came out of the villa, he looked around and did not see suspicious situation.

From time to time, he also looked around while he was following Winnie. When no suspicious situation was found, he continued to follow Winnie.

Penny's plan was destroyed by Brian and had no idea what to do, but she did not want to miss this opportunity.

Finally, she decided to stick to her original plan and tried to hit one of them.

As Brian was walking along, he heard the sound of a car behind him. There were not too many cars on suburb in the evening, so Brian's attention was attracted.

He looked back and was frightened.

Penny was driving the car toward him quickly. Her eyes were ruthless. She seemed to determine to hit them, which made Brian panic.

Brian suddenly shouted loudly to Winnie and quickly ran to Winnie.

"Winwin, careful."

Winnie was surprised by the sudden cry, stood in the same place and turned around.

She saw Brian running towards her. She was confused and did not realize the car was coming towards her.

"Stand aside, it's Penny."

Brian loudly reminded. Winnie looked at the car and saw Penny in the car.

When she wanted to dodge, the car was close to her. She did not know which direction to dodge.

At a critical juncture, Brian made a wise judgment and directly pulled Winnie's hand toward him, and then both of them fell to the ground at the same time.

Penny thought she had grasped the opportunity well, trying to kill Winnie or hit her disabled. But at the critical moment, Brian saved her.

However, she could not control her car and hit the tree by the side of the road violently. She passed out instantly.

"Winwin, how are you? Are you hurt?"

Brian got up in panic and asked Winnie with concern.

He looked Winnie up and down, checking that if she was all right. His resolute eyes had been occupied by worry.

Winnie was pulled up to sit on the ground. She looked at Brian with a face of fear. It seemed that she was still in the fright.

When she saw the worry on Brian's face, she realized that she nearly encountered an accident, if not Brian, she would have died.

Winnie suddenly hugged Brian and began to cry loudly.

"Thank you, thank you for saving me again..."

Winnie was trembling all over, not because she was crying, but because she was afraid, because she was moved.

Brian did not owe her anything, but again and again saved her life. How should she thank him?

"Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, it's all right. Nothing will happen to you, I am here."

Brian patted Winnie's head gently to appease her. He could clearly feel her fear. She was as afraid that her heart was about to jump out, but she still thanked him.

Brian felt sad in her heart. If he were her husband, she would only be crying and would not thank him.

Winnie cried sadly and ignored Penny who was hurt.

At that moment, someone passed by and call the hospital.

Because Winnie was seriously frightened, she was unable to cooperate with the police for investigation. Brian did not cooperate the investigation on the grounds of taking care of Winnie.

It had nothing to do with them whether Penny was alive or dead.

Brian went home with Winnie in her arms and called Kevin. After making sure Winnie did not get injured, he was relieved.

Winnie lied in bed with a pale face. There were so many people in the room, but it warmed her heart.

Now she was still in shock, her eyes were floating. She had been holding Brian's hand, afraid that she would say goodbye to the world if she let go.

"Winwin, don't be afraid. It's all right."

Daenerys comforted her in a soft voice.

Winnie was brave before. Since she was with Brian, she had always experienced highly dangerous things, and she was frightened. Otherwise, she would not have been so nervous this time.

"Ok."

Winnie said that she was fine, but her heart was still trembling, and her voice was low.

"It's all right, no injuries, and I have taken care of the scrapes on her arm."

Kevin comforted her with a frown and he hated Penny for what she did.
