Author's p.o.v

Devika is sitting on the bed like a robot. Her whole face is expressionless. No tear, no pain, no agony is visible on her face. She is sitting leaning a little to the headboard.

A few moments ago the doctor told her that she is already two months pregnant. She is going to be a mother.After hearing this news, she has become numb. She isn't understanding how she should react. Her inside is now totally blank.

She is sitting on the bed and looking at the wall continuously. Her back is still hurting because of the whip slash but still, she isn't feeling anything. She is thinking about something deeply.

Her thinking is interrupted by Abhinav's entry. He is looking like as usual expressionless. He walked towards her and sat in front of her. He is looking at devika intensely. Devika looked at him with too much loath in her eyes. She rolled her eyes seeing him.

She was covering her stomach and legs with a thin blanket. Abhinav removed the blanket and looked at her belly. He removed her saree a little and now her smooth belly is exposed in front of him.

He started trailing his one hand on her belly. He is feeling the softness of her skin closing his eyes. Devika is still looking at him with too much anger. His every touch is making her skin crawl in disgust. She is feeling like to spit on his face again and again.

Suddenly, he asked her rubbing her belly, " Who is the father? Whose child it is? Is it mine or Arnav's?" Saying that he opened his eyes and his eyes are now looking red showing too much anger.

" As per, I remember you are the one who has fucked me day and night in this room for the last few months, " Devika replied sternly. She isn't even surprised hearing his question because she was expecting this type of question. A person like Abhinav can ask anything!!!

Abhinav looked at her face and grabbed her chin tightly. He said lowering his voice with too much anger, " For the last few months I have also given you too much freedom. Is there any guarantee that you didn't fuck Arnav?"

This time Devika really spits on his face. When her spit made contact with his skin he closed his eyes in reflex. She replied with too much anger, " you are an animal. A bastard".

Abhinav was still closing his eyes. He wiped her spit from his face with the backside of his hand.

Then he gave her a backslap and Devika's face turned into another direction. He asked her holding her hairs, " Tell me how much deep is you and Arnav's relation?

Devika is still silent. She is only looking at the ceiling. Abhinav yelled loudly, " Speak, you stupid woman!! Tell me what were you doing with him for two hours inside his room?"

This time devika couldn't control herself anymore and barked on his face, " I was fucking him. Aren't you so desperate to hear this sentence from me so that you can beat me or rape me brutally?

Abhinav clenched his jaw in too much rage  and choked her neck. This time devika also choked his neck. Abhinav is becoming surprised seeing her rebellious side. He slapped her again and twisted her hand behind.

Then he asked her dangerously, " Tell me where are Neel and Ruhi. Otherwise, it will not be good for you!.

Abhinav warned devika. But still, she isn't afraid. She said looking into his eyes, " Even, if I die, I will not tell where are my siblings".

" Is that so? What if I kill your mother? You know me very well that I don't fuss in the air?" Abhinav asked sarcastically.

Devika laughed loudly which made Abhinav shocked. In this situation, she is laughing!! He can not believe his own eyes. Devika understood Abhinav very well now and she knew exactly how to manipulate him.

She said mockingly, " Without blackmail what can you do!! You blackmailed my mother and then married me. You blackmailed us, tricked us and then snatched everything from us. If you are really a man and really a mafia then find out them with your own".

Saying that she fisted her palm in anger. Her talking has something triggered inside him and he asked dangerously, " Are you challenging me?"

" Consider it as a challenge" Devika replied sternly.

This time Abhinav held her both shoulder and leaned at her ear a little. Then he whispered in her ear, " You know what, you don't deserve my nice behaviour. You only deserve my anger and wrath. I shouldn't have given you so much freedom. You betrayed me and my trust. You are a whore just like your mother".

Saying that he was going back to his previous position when devika held his back neck and whispered in his ear, " And you are a bastard. A mental patient. You don't deserve my love. Actually, you don't deserve anyone's love. You are not worthy enough for love. You are the most disgusting creature in this whole world".

Abhinav looked at her and held her chin again. He pulled her face towards him and now her face is almost touching his face. He said brushing his lips on her lips, " Don't you think you are talking too much. Should I cut your tongue and feed it to you?".

Devika isn't afraid by his warning anymore.

She said with a chuckle, " What more you can do than this without scaring me. You stupid psycho, piece of shit. Do whatever you wanted to do. I don't fear you anymore".

The more he is hearing her, the more he is becoming shocked. He pushed her hard and her back touched the headboard with a loud sound creating immense pain on her back. She hissed in pain.

He stood up from his sit to leave the room when she said yelling, " Divorce me otherwise, I will divorce you. I don't want to live with a psycho like you".

Hearing her, Abhinav marched towards her and choked her neck. He said dangerously, " I will obviously throw you away but without any divorce. I will make you hang in the middle. I will not divorce you and even if you send me divorce paper I will not sign it. Do you get it?"

Devika was thrashing her hands in the air and holding his hand to free her neck. After a few seconds when she was on the verge of fainting he left her neck and she sucked as much as oxygen she can.

Then, he fisted her hairs again and said with a warning tone, " From today, you will not leave this house anymore. You will be in this room for 24 hours and will not talk with Arnav. From today your education is off. Enough of your graduation. You don't deserve freedom, otherwise, you will start whoring around".

Devika looked at him with her rebellious look like his words are not affecting her. She didn't reply.

Abhinav is now going towards the door to leave this room when he turned at her and said with a blank tone, " Tomorrow I am going to check the child's DNA. Pray that the result comes out in your favour. Otherwise, you can't even imagine what will I do with you".

Saying that he left the room closing the door with a thud sound.

Devika is looking at the door. Then, she said with too much anger, " I will see, how you stop me from graduating"

The Next Morning

Abhinav and Devika both are sitting on a Lady doctor's chamber for a DNA test. Abhinav is sitting on the chair crossing his legs where devika is sitting looking at her lap.

The doctor asked Abhinav, " Mr Agnihotri, Tell me the problem of your wife if she is unc.....".

The doctor couldn't complete her sentence when Abhinav said with his cold tone, " Check the baby's DNA. Check carefully and tell it's mine or not".

Hearing him devika closed her eyes in shame because this thing is raising finger on her character. A drop of tear already escaped her eyes but still, she controlled herself from the outburst.

The doctor became a little bit uncomfortable and she can feel Devika's helplessness. She sighed and called a nurse. The nurse came and took the blood sample from Abhinav and Devika both.

Then, The doctor said with her professional tone, " We have taken the blood sample. We will check by DDC process and tell you about the result. For the result, you have to wait for one week."

" I want the result in two days," Abhinav said. The warning is clearly visible in his voice. The doctor looked at him with fear and devika looked at him with disgust.

The doctor said with a shaky voice, " Mr Agnihotri, it's impossible. We need......."

" Make it in two days otherwise, I will close down your clinic and make sure you will lose your license. You don't know me," Abhinav said trailing his fingers on his hairs.

The doctor gulped down her saliva because of too much fear and said, " you will get the result in two days".

After that, they both came out of the clinic. When they will just get into the car someone called Abhinav from behind.

Devika and Abhinav both turned their head behind and saw a young man who might have the same age of Abhinav. A young woman is also here with the man.

Seeing the man, a smile formed on Abhinav's lips and he said loudly, " Dhruv?? What are you doing here man? How are you? After many years we are meeting each other".

Saying that both hugged each other. They are talking and devika is seeing them with a curious expression. The other woman is also seeing them with a curious expression. After some time they all introduced each other and now we come to know that, Dhruv is Abhinav's college friend. The woman is his wife Anika. They are here to check Anika's pregnancy.

Dhruv asked Abhinav with a smile, " Are you also here to check Bhabi ji's pregnancy?"

" No, I am here to check if the child in her womb is mine or not," Abhinav said sternly like he has said something usual.

Hearing him devika didn't say anything. She got in the car and closed the door with a thud sound.

Dhruv and his wife's smile  dropped down hearing Abhinav. Both looked at each other's face and then looked at Abhinav who is standing without any hesitation.

To escape from this awkward situation, Dhruv said with an awkward smile, " Nice to meet you ,man after so many years. See you. We are getting late. We have to go."

Saying that both excused themselves from Abhinav and Abhinav got back in the car and found that devika is seeing outside through the window.

She said fixing her gaze on the outside, " Trust me, one day I will strangle you in your sleep. Was it necessary to humiliate me in front of the strangers?"

Abhinav said with a smug on his face, " It was just payback for disrespecting me last night. You deserve this humiliation and I will not spare any chance to humiliate you. You betrayed me".

Devika didn't say anything further. She took a deep breath and looked outside.

After Two Days

Abhinav's p.o.v

For the last few days, I am feeling everything toxic. My mind is totally fucked up. I can't control my anger even after having medicines. Moreover, what's wrong with Devika!!

She doesn't fear me anymore. She is always behaving like I am nothing. The fear, the softness of her behaviour, nothing is found in her. She doesn't even cry. She doesn't talk with me. I warned her that I will not let her graduate but still, she is preparing for her exam. What's this woman thinking inside her head!

I might have given her permission to participate in her exam but whenever I remember that day when she entered Arnav's room I felt raw anger started erupting inside me like volcano .

I didn't want to doubt on her but I was being forced to doubt when I saw her coming out from Arnav's room after two hours and she was fixing her saree. She was also smiling brightly. She never smiled with me like that!!

When she left the area I went to Arnav's room and found him wearing his shirt. He was topless at that time.Seeing all this my blood get boiled. I can not believe my brother and wife were having affair behind my back. How can they betray me!!

I was behaving with her nicely but still, she betrayed me. And my brother!! I have raised him with my own hands giving my all love and care but still, he betrayed me!!

I was still not ready to believe that they betrayed me but I was forced to believe when devika told lie to me. She said that she went there to talk about Ruhi's fever but when I checked Ruhi, she was completely fine. So, it was confirmed that they both betrayed me.

I was hurt. Very very hurt. How can they do that to me!! After that my blood get boiled with anger. I was feeling like to kill everyone. Specifically devika. She is a complete bitch just like her mother. She doesn't deserve my care and nice behaviour. I will show her hell until I throw her away from me. And about the child? If the child is not mine then I will burn her alive with my own hands.

And about Arnav? He is still alive because he is my brother. He is a part of my mother. He is now an adult. But, for me. He is still that little Arnav who used to cry clutching my pant to play with him. I am arranging everything to make him stay away from Devika. I am sending him Germany for a few months. He will stay there until she is here with me.

I am in my office and thinking about all this when Omkara entered with a paper. He informed me that it's the result of that DNA test. He gave me the paper and I took it impatiently.

I looked at the paper and read it carefully. So, it's true that I am going to be a father. That doesn't prove that she didn't betray me. She is a cheater! She betrayed me behind my back!

But, I don't know why I am feeling restless thinking that I am going to be a father. A little baby will call me 'papa'. Will I be a good father!! I don't know!! I don't want to think!! 

Devika's p.o.v

" You know what baby, mamma will protect you from every harm," I said to my baby rubbing my belly.

I promised him/her that  I will give him/her my all love and care. Though, that monster is my baby's father still I will love my baby. I am the mother. I will not let him make my baby a monster like him. I will not let him do any harm to my child. The child is  only mine. This baby is my everything. What's this baby's fault that he/she has a monster in the name of father.

" You are so small in mamma's belly. Very soon you will have two small hands, two small legs, two eyes, one nose, a small body and many more," I said smiling.

" Are you hearing mamma? I want you to look like mamma. Don't worry .very soon I will leave this hell with you. " I am promising my baby that I will give him/her every happiness.

Right now, I am on the terrace and busy talking with my baby. I was a little upset when I came to know that I am going to be a mother of that monster's child. But, after thinking deeply I am determined that I will give birth to this baby and raise him/her giving my all love.

" Mamma loves you so much. Mamma can't wait to meet you," I said rubbing my belly.

" Are you talking alone?" I heard a voice and turned behind me and found Arnav who is standing folding his hands. Seeing him I panicked and asked, " What are you doing here? If Abhinav....."

He said coming towards me, " He is not at home. Don't worry." He assured me and sat beside me. I took a relief of breath.

He said looking at me with a smile, " So, what do you want? A baby boy or a baby girl?"

" I just want a healthy baby. It doesn't matter that the baby is a boy or a girl," I replied looking at my belly.

He said to me with a serious tone, " Devika, be careful always. I am telling you that you are playing with fire".

I chuckled and said, " Don't worry. Everything will be fine".

" If bhai comes to know about everything than   he will not hesitate to bury you alive or he will show you actual hell from the earth," he said to looking into my eyes.

I said smiling, " Don't worry. Nothing will happen. I am not afraid anymore. I have already seen hell".

" But still..." he tried to say something when I said with a smile, " Thank you so much for being my true friend".

He looked at me and said with a chuckle, " I wanted to be someone more than a friend but see Destiny has made you my bhabi".

Saying that he laughed loudly and I also joined him.

I gave him a smile and looked at the garden. He asked me about my study and my health. We are now talking about random things.

Suddenly, I said looking at him, " I am really grateful to you and Apeksha."

He nodded his head and said, " It was my duty."

" Please, tell Apeksha that I am really grateful towards her. I wanted to tell her that in person but I am helpless. I have to admit that she is a kind and a great woman," I said with a slight smile.

Then he said giving me bracelet, " Apeksha gave this to you. She is very happy to meet you. She congratulated you that you are going to be a mother".

I took the bracelet and it's really beautiful. I told him to say her "thank you" from my side.

He chuckled and said, " Apeksha wants to meet you again. She said that she wants to hug her younger sister tightly."
