After three months

At Night

" it's the last piece. Open your mouth and eat it," Arushi said holding an apple piece in front of Devika's mouth.

Devika is flinching backwards because she isn't feeling like eating anymore. She said chewing the last piece of the apple, " You are behaving like a mommy who is forcing her kid to eat more to become strong".

Arushi chuckled and said resting her one hand on Devika's 5-month pregnant belly, " I am doing all this for that cute little bunny who is inside your womb. I can not wait to be a buaa(aunt).

Devika smiled and rubbed her belly a little affectionately.

Then devika said holding Arushi's hand, " Thank you so much for supporting me always. Thank you for helping me in my study and even filling the form for my exam. I will never forget your this favour. I am really grateful to you".

" Come on yaar(friend). You are now embarrassing me," Arushi said with a slight pout.

Devika giggled seeing Arushi's face. Both friends are now talking about their study and upcoming examination. Devika is very determined that she will make a good result in this exam.

Right now, devika is sitting on the bed leaning her back towards the headboard. Her 5-month pregnant belly can be visible clearly from over her saree. Devika is holding her belly when Arushi said with an amusing tone, " Devika, I am telling you that you are going to have twins".

Devika chuckled and asked, " How do you know that? I am only 5 months pregnant. A few days ago the doctor checked me but said nothing like that".

Arushi said resting her hand on Devika's belly, " You are 5 months pregnant but your belly is unusually big. Looking at your belly, anyone will assume that you might be 8/9 months pregnant".

Devika looked at her belly and she also noticed that her belly is unusually big. Because of her big belly, she can not even walk properly. She has gotten a quite amount of weight. The slim petit devika is nowhere to be found. But her skin has become glossier. She looks like a cute chubby panda.

In these few months, Arushi is helping her a lot. She is helping Devika with everything.  She is always ready to help her friend.

Devika said with a slight smile, " If my baby is twins then I will be very busy raising them. They both will call me mamma".

Saying that devika smiled looking at her belly. Arushi said with a smile, " Abhi bhai is so........"

Arushi couldn't complete her sentence when Devika said being irritated, " My mood is very jolly now. Please, don't take your Bhai's name right now. His name will ruin my mood . I am sorry I said like that about your brother but it's the truth".

" I can understand your feelings. Bhai is too much aggressive. His mood swings are very dangerous. I have to say that you are very patient that you are still living with bhai," Arushi said taking a deep breath.

Devika can see Arushi's Blissful face. Devika tried to say something when Arushi said with a sad smile, " I always wanted my brother to be happy. He has struggled a lot for us. I always wanted my bhai to be a jolly minded person like Arnav bhai. But Alas! Abhi bhai is completely different".

Devika heard Arushi and took a deep breath. She said with a barely audible voice, " Jolly minded!! He is a complete psycho. He needs to go to a mental hospital".

Arushi didn't hear devika. She is lost in her daydreams. Suddenly, Arushi asked devika, " Have you chosen any name for the baby?

Devika said giving a smile to Arushi, " Not yet. I am waiting for ma's return. I want my baby to get his/her name from my ma".

Arushi smiled and said, " You are lucky that you have your mother. Here, am I!! I am so unfortunate that I don't even remember my father and mother's face clearly. I have only seen my mother in pictures".

Saying that she became upset. Devika held are hand and consoled her.

Both friends are talking about Devika's baby and their examination when someone called on Arushi's phone. Arushi saw the caller id and it's a video call.

Arnav has called Arushi from Germany. Well, Abhinav has sent Arnav to Germany,  saying that there Abhinav has a hospital. Arnav should take care of that hospital with his own."

Abhinav intends to make Arnav stay away from Devika.

Arushi received the call and Arnav started saying many things about his life in Germany. Though all the siblings have travelled to many countries, they never stayed in any country for too long. It's been two months since Arnav is there.

Arushi is talking with Arnav when devika said to Arushi, " Give the phone to me. I also want to talk with Arnav".

Arushi gave the phone to devika and devika saw Arnav through the video call. Devika smiled brightly seeing him. Arnav also gave her a big smile.

Arnav said with a playful tone, ' You have become fat. You are looking like a cute chubby panda".

Devika giggled and said with her soft voice, " And you have grown a quite amount of beard and hair. Don't they have male saloon there!!"

Hearing her, Arnav and Arushi both laughed. Devika is talking with Arnav and giggling. Arushi is also laughing hearing  Arnav's funny comments about devika. Arnav also asked about Abhinav. In this matter, Arushi only talked. Devika said nothing. Arnav can understand Devika's situation. So, he didn't ask anything from devika about Abhinav.

Three are busy in their silly talking when Abhinav entered with his ruined mood. In his office, work pressure is too much and in his house, devika doesn't even talk with him properly. She ignores him as he doesn't exist in this house. Abhinav is becoming frustrated day by day.

His already ruined mood get too much sour when he saw devika is talking with Arnav. His whole system gets filled with jealousy. He understood that it's Arushi who has called Arnav because he never gave any phone to Devika.

He is looking at Arushi and devika with full rage. He marched towards devika, took the phone forcefully and threw it on the floor. The phone is now shattered into pieces. Devika is looking at him with a bored expression and Arushi is looking at him with a scared expression.

Abhinav barked on Devika's face, " Didn't I warn you to not talk with Arnav. Then, why did you talk with him? Are you becoming so desperate for my brother, you shameless woman!!

Devika felt embarrassed because Abhinav has told her these words in front of Arushi. She said standing from with bed with difficulty, " I don't give any shit about your warning. I have just talked with a normal person not an animal like you".

Abhinav clenched his fist and gritted his teeth in anger.

He said yelling fixing his gaze on devika, " Arushi, leave the room right now. I will buy you another phone. Get lost from here. I have some important matter to discuss with your bhabi."

Arushi didn't waste any time. She almost ran from this room. Abhinav closed the door and locked it. He has a deadly expression on his face. Devika is noticing him but said nothing. She just rolled her eyes.

Abhinav is now standing behind devika. He fisted her hairs in his grip from behind and pulled it harshly. Devika didn't utter any word. 

Abhinav whispered in her ear, " you are lucky that you are pregnant. That's why I am not punishing you. Otherwise, I might have lifted your skin by whipping your back".

Devika let out a mocking smile. She said holding his wrists to free her hairs from his grip, " it's expected from an animal like you."

Hearing her, Abhinav left her hairs and came in front of her. He is looking at her head to toe. He admired her mentally.

He thought, " You are looking heavenly beautiful with my baby in your womb but you have become too much rebellious which is making me angry".

But, didn't say anything with his mouth. He rested his hand on her belly and said mockingly looking at her face, " See baby. You have got a disobedient mother. Never be like her. Be like Papa. Strong and ruthless".

Devika jerked off his hand from her belly and said angrily, " Don't you dare to say filthy words with my baby".

" Why? You can do shameless act and I can't even say. You distrustful minx," Abhinav said grabbing her chin tightly.

He is now looking at her face closely. Her pink plump lips are looking luscious in front of him. He couldn't control his urge to kiss those lips and smashed his lips on her.

Devika wriggled but Abhinav held her more tightly and kissed her passionately sucking her tongue and lips.

Only just kissing her his member is getting hard. He held her more closely and nuzzled his nose on her neck.

He touched her both breasts and said seductively, " They have gotten heavier than before."

Devika is standing like a statue without saying anything. Abhinav is busy sucking her neck, jaw and exposed chest area. He opened her blouse and sucked her bosoms like a hungry man. He kissed her belly softly kneeling in front of her.

Suddenly, devika said loudly, " Stop right now. If you do this then my baby can get hurt".

Abhinav stopped and yelled loudly in frustration. He didn't say anything further. He stood up from his kneeling position and walked towards the closet. He took out his night suit and entered the washroom.

Devika laid down on the bed but couldn't sleep. Her feet are aching badly and she is also feeling nausea. Her mood is becoming ruined without any reason. She is feeling irritated.

Abhinav came out from the washroom and found Devika can't sleep. Her face is looking restless and irritated. Abhinav asked coming towards her, " what happened to you? Why are you still awake?"

" My feet are aching and I am feeling nausea," Devika said breathing heavily.

Abhinav sat beside her feet and started messaging her feet. Devika is looking at him with suspicious eyes. She can not believe he is messaging her feet.

She said mentally mocking him, " Such a nice actor. This lunatic is now acting as a caring husband".

Devika is now feeling a little bit relaxed when Abhinav said looking at her belly, " Isn't your belly too big for 5 months pregnancy?"

Devika said with a worried tone, " I don't know. Everything is fine with me. A few days ago I went to the doctor's chamber. She also said that everything is fine."

" Tomorrow, I will take you to the doctor's chamber again. Your belly is unusually big for 5 months of pregnancy. Something is wrong", Abhinav said touching her belly.

Devika said rolling her eyes, " You don't have to take me to the doctor. I will go with Arushi".

She felt Abhinav has twisted her one leg in his grip. He said digging his nails on her soft skin, " Another rude word coming out from your mouth I will not hesitate to stitch your mouth".

Devika didn't say anything. Somehow she freed her legs from him and laid down on the bed. She closed her eyes and said timidly, " Monster".

Next-Day Morning

Now, Abhinav and Devika are in the doctor's chamber. Devika is very worried thinking that something is wrong with her baby. She can't even imagine any harm to her baby. On the other hand, Abhinav having his impassive expression but still, he is a little bit worried about the baby.

The doctor checked out Devika's previous reports and said looking at her, " Seems like everything is fine. Let's do the ultrasound and see the sonogram of the baby. I hope the baby is fine".

Devika nodded her head but still, she is nervous. The doctor assured her that everything will be fine.

The doctor took her to another room and Abhinav followed them. The doctor said devika to lay down on the bed and she obliged. The doctor removed the saree from her belly and applied some jelly type cold content on her belly and started rolling something on her belly.

The doctor is now looking at the monitor. Abhinav and devika are also looking at the monitor but they are not understanding anything.

Suddenly, the doctor said with a shocked expression fixing her gaze on the monitor, " Oh my God!!"

Seeing the doctor's expression Abhinav and Devika both asked with a worried tone, " Is everything alright?"

" In my whole career, it's the third time I am seeing something like that. It's really rare," The doctor said with amusement.

Devika is now hell worried about her baby. She asked again, " Please, doctor. Tell me that my baby is fine".

Abhinav is running out of his patience level. He said gritting his teeth, " Will you tell us what's happening?"

The doctor chuckled and said looking at Devika and Abhinav, " Relax. Everything is fine. The thing is Mrs Agnihotri is going to be very busy raising 4 children."

" What do you mean?" Abhinav asked frowning his brow. Devika is still clueless about what's the doctor talking about.

" The thing is, Mrs Agnihotri is carrying not one baby or twins. She is carrying quadruplets," the doctor said and Abhinav's eyes become big like potato and Devika is still looking at the monitor.

She didn't understand yet. She asked again with a panicked tone, " will someone tell me what's happening?"

" Mrs Agnihotri, look at the monitor," The doctor said and devika looked at the monitor with a nervous expression.

The doctor said pointing her finger to the monitor, " there are 4 dots in the monitor indicating there are 4 babies inside your womb. Moreover, when I checked the heartbeat of the babies. I heard 4 different heartbeats. There are 4 babies inside your womb. In medical term, we call the babies quadruplets."

Devika became dumbfounded. Abhinav is still looking at the monitor with a shocked expression. Both are not understanding how they should react.

Then the doctor said with a smile, " And about the babies gender. Most probably two are boy,  two are girl. Or, three are a boy and one is girl. After two month, we will check again. Than, we will be sure completely".

" That's why her belly is that big," Abhinav asked the doctor.

The doctor said, " Yes. You are right. It's not usual to see quadruplets. It's my third time I am seeing something like that. You are blessed that you are having 4 small angels in your life".

Devika is now totally shocked and surprised. Here she was preparing herself for raising one baby and now she has to raise 4 children. She can not believe the doctor's words yet. She asked again to the doctor and the doctor again explained everything.

Devika thought mentally, " One Agnihotri has made my life difficult and now four are coming. How will I handle them!!"

Now, devika and Abhinav are seated on the chair in front of the doctor. The doctor is telling devika about her diet chart, medicine and other important information about her pregnancy. Devika is listening to everything carefully.

The doctor said chuckling, " Mrs Agnihotri, you are lucky that you will go through the labor pain just once and will have 4 kids in one go".

Devika is blinking her eyes and thinking about how will she handle 4 kids alone. Then, the doctor said to Abhinav who hasn't overcome the shock yet, " Mr Agnihotri, your wife is giving you 4 children in one go. It will be very tough for both of you to handle 4 babies".

Abhinav looked at devika and devika looked at Abhinav. Both are not understanding what they should actually say.

After consulting the doctor, they came out from the clinic and Abhinav is holding Devika's waist with one hand and with another hand, he is holding her another hand to support her.

Both got into the car. Devika is resting one hand on her belly and looking outside. She is now thinking about something deeply.

Abhinav touched her belly and said with amusement, " What I have created!!"

Abhinav's p.o.v

I am going to be the father of 4 small babies. This thought is making me too much nervous.

My ma also had 4 children. She struggled very hard to raise us. When that bastard abandoned us, we were in so much trouble. Ma had to be a bar dancer, I used to work as a hotel boy and my other siblings also suffered. If I abandon devika, she will also suffer. Won't she?

Moreover, she is carrying my babies in her womb. Will it be the right thing to throw her away in this situation? Ughh!! I don't know. Thinking all this I will go completely mad one day. I can not think anymore. I decided to concentrate on my work.

My whole mind is occupied by her. I can not forget her for a second. Her face, her talking, her smile, her everything is coming into my mind making me lose my sanity. Why can't I get over of her? Even after her betraying, I am not feeling like throwing her away from me!!

All this thinking is creating pressure in my mind. I lit a cigarette and started smoking. The smoke of the cigarette is clouding my vision and this smoke is giving some peace inside me.

I am busy taking puffs from a cigarette when Omkara entered my cabin. Before he could say anything I asked him without looking at him, " Where are Ruhi and Neel? Have you found them?"

" Sorry, Sir. I am still searching," he replied and I looked at him. I saw him lowering his head. 

I said with a disappointed tone, " It's the first time you are taking so long to find someone. You disappointed me".

He is silent. I sighed because it's not his fault. He is my most trusted man. He never failed in any work. This time Devika played with me smartly. She has become too much courageous. She didn't utter a single word about her brother and sister.

I have searched all over Delhi city along with her friends, her sibling's friends and their relative's Houses. Those two bastards are nowhere to be found as they have vanished in the air. And my wife is another hard nut to crack. I have tried every way to make her open her mouth but she is too much stubborn.

I sighed and said to Omkara, " Keep searching".

Then he informed me that today we are having a secret supply of some dangerous drug which cost billion dollars. We are receiving this from Russia. He also informed me that Russian drug dealer Miroslav Rodriguez and Mikhel Ruslan is also here. They want to meet me in person.

I asked him, " Where have you receive the drugs and our two guests?"

"Sir, in your secret farmhouse. You should check the drugs. Before selling them in the black market you should check them," Omkara said with his professional tone.

I stood up from my seat and wore my coat. I told Omkara, " Let's go".

After One hour

I entered my farmhouse and saw my guests sitting on the couch. Seeing me they stood up and smiled brightly.

I said giving back the smile, " Hello gentlemen. I am very glad that both of you are here".

Saying that I extended my arm for a handshake and then we hand shook.

I gestured them to seat and now we are sitting on the couch. Miroslav said with his thick voice in English mixing up his Russian accent, " we are glad that we are doing business with you. Those drugs are really cost a huge amount of dollars. We will have a good profit after selling them in Indian Blackmarket."

I nodded my head and offered them wine. We are now talking about business and having our wine. I have finalised another deal with them. This time the deal is about illegal weapons.

I invited them for dinner and they accepted it. We are busy in business talking when Omkara entered the room without my permission having a panicked face.

I asked him rudely, " Why did you enter without knocking?"

" I am sorry, Sir for troubling you. I am here to tell you that police has surrounded the whole area. Someone has leaked the news that you are receiving illegal drug. " Omkara said hurriedly.

I stood up from my seat and yelled loudly, " What the hell are you talking about? It's my secret farmhouse. How can someone know the exact location of this place? Are you sure or bubbling?

" Mr Agnihotri, what's happening? If the police caught us then they will not leave us so easily. They will make our life hell in prison. We need to escape from here," Mikhel said with an angry tone.

Yes, they are right. If they are caught by the police than the Russian Mafia will go against me. It will bring too much trouble for me. If I caught by the police it will not take one night for me to come out on bail using money. But, it will not be possible in the case of these foreign drug dealers.

I ordered Omkara, " Take our guest from here safely so that no one comes to know that they were here. And I think you know which road you should choose. I will handle everything here".

Omkara obliged my order and left the room with my guests. I am wondering who dares to give this secret place's location to the police. I am sure someone trusted has backstabbed me. I will find out about that betrayer later. But, I have to handle the police now.

I am also astonished seeing the police's audacity to surround my farmhouse. I have to be cool in front of the police. My remaining people have already hidden the drugs to the underground section of this farmhouse. Let's see what this police has to say to me.

I sat down on the couch like a king and waiting for the police force to enter who has dared to surround my farmhouse.

After a few moments, I heard a woman's voice. The voice said entering into the room, " You are under arrest, Mr Abhinav Agnihotri".

I looked at the person and seeing the person my eyes get widened like saucers. How it can possible!! I saw a woman in a police uniform entered the room wearing sunglass. She is looking like any kind of High profile police officer.

I am not surprised seeing that a woman is working in the police. I am surprised because the woman looks like Devika.

She walked towards me and stopped her walking in front of me. She removed her sunglass and seeing her I become dumbfounded. She is looking like devika. Only she is too much tall than devika and the eye colour isn't matching. Devika looks so innocent but this woman looks so cunning. Her face is looking too much hard.

Though I am surprised but I didn't let her show my surprised expression. I tried to remain cool.

I said clenching my fist giving a tight smile, " I guess the police has forgotten their place in front of me. Who are you? And why are you here?"

She said putting her hands in her pants pocket, " I am DCP Apeksha Sinha. You are under arrest, Mr Abhinav Agnihotri".
