After 3 Days

" Abhinav Agnihotri is sentenced for 10 years imprisonment with hard labour in charge of Domestic Violence"

" Famous businessman Abhinav Agnihotri got jailed"

" Abhinav Agnihotri's wife Devika Agnihotri won the case of Domestic Violence"

" It's really shocking that a famous businessman like Abhinav Agnihotri is abusive".

" Devika Agnihotri bravely fought for justice"

" Finally Devika Agnihotri got Justice".

Many reporters are saying all this in front of their channel's camera. They are now in front of the court where Abhinav's trial was held.

A few moments ago Abhinav's trial was held and as expected Abhinav was proven innocent in the murder case and drug dealing case. But, he couldn't prove himself innocent in domestic violence case as all the evidence were against him.

After analyzing his crimes the judge sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment with hard labour. After hearing the judgment Devika felt satisfaction thinking that finally, she has thrown him into jail. She is already preparing a divorce paper and very soon she will send it to Abhinav. She doesn't want to be with him anymore. She hates him from the core of her heart.

On the other hand,  Abhinav tried very hard to do something about this domestic violence case but this time he is not that lucky. This time his money and power couldn't save him. He tried to use political power but Apeksha handled everything smoothly. She didn't give him any chance for escaping his punishment.

Abhinav isn't upset thinking that he is going to jail for 10 years,  he is angry and upset thinking that Bhabani is still breathing.

If he wants then he can easily kill her by ordering his men but he wants to kill her with his own hands. He wants to see her struggling for oxygen just like his mother struggled. He wants to see her suffering. But, before he can do anything, he got jailed.

Right now Apeksha is dragging Abhinav to the police van and all the reporters are taking photos of him. Arnav told devika and Apeksha both to not involve media here but still, Apeksha called media here. She wants to show Abhinav's true face in front of the whole country.

Avantika,  Arushi and Arnav are standing here watching their brother being taken by the police.

Avantika and Arushi are crying for their brother where Arnav is also crying and feeling guilty for going against his brother. Arnav is feeling too much guilt because a few moments ago he has given statement against his brother in Court.

Abhinav is getting into the police van when he noticed Devika is standing with her mother. She is smiling looking at him holding her huge belly.

On the other hand, Bhabani is smirking looking at him. Abhinav is feeling like killing Bhabani right now but his hands are handcuffed. He cursed Bhabani mentally.

After that, Abhinav is taken to the central jail by police.

After Abhinav's leaving reporters tried to talk with Abhinav's family and devika both.  But, they didn't talk with the media.

Devika walked towards Arnav and thanked him for helping her. Arnav is very devastated from inside.  He didn't reply to any of her words and left the place.

Avantika is totally angry on devika. She said looking at Devika's belly," If you weren't carrying my brother's children then I might have killed you right now".

Devika said rudely," They are my children. Don't you dare to call them that monster's children? And about killing me, it's expected of you. you are so dangerous and vicious like your brother that if you try to kill me then I will not be surprised".

Avantika is going to slap devika when Arushi said holding Avantika's hand," Di, for God's sake don't raise your hand on a pregnant woman. Let's go from here".

Saying that Arushi dragged her sister to their car and left the place.

Devika is still standing here when Bhabani came and rested her one hand on Devika's shoulder. Devika looked at her mother and smiled.

Bhabani said caressing Devika's cheek," I am proud of you. Finally, you have sent that son of bitch into jail".

Devika didn't say anything to her mother. She said mentally," He deserves all this".

After Few Hour

Inside of  jail

" After betraying me,  why are you here?" Abhinav asked his brother. He is very hurt thinking that his own brother has gone against him.

Arnav said joining his hands," Bhai, please,  forgive me. I never wanted to go against you. I just wanted to help a poor woman".

" you liked her and that's why you did all this, Right?" Abhinav asked Arnav taking a deep breath.

This time Arnav held Abhinav's shoulder tightly and said loudly, " Bhai, I used to like devika but I never approached her.  She was your wife and my bhabhi. She was always yours. I love someone else. Devika and I have nothing between us".

Abhinav is watching Arnav with suspicious eyes. He said clenching his jaw," I don't believe you. I saw her coming out from your room fixing her saree and I also saw you shirtless. Will you tell me what was the meaning of all those?"

Hearing Abhinav,  Arnav is running out of his patience to make his brother believe that there is nothing between him and devika.

Arnav started saying everything about him and devika. He told him actually what happened to his room. He also told him about that garden incident where he kissed devika. He told Abhinav that it was completely his fault. Devika was always innocent. Arnav apologised to Abhinav for his behaviour towards Devika.

Abhinav is still looking at Arnav with a void expression on his face when Arnav showed him a ring on his ring finger and said loudly, " Bhai, I am promised to another. I love another person.  There is nothing between me and devika. She is always yours."

Abhinav isn't saying anything.  He is just looking at his brother with wide eyes. For few moments his subconscious said," Devika was always innocent. You unnecessarily blamed her".

Now, Abhinav's subconscious is screaming only one thing," Devika was always innocent."

This time Arnav said shaking Abhinav's body," Bhai, just open your eyes and look carefully at every fact. Devika was always innocent. Throw away the hate you are holding for her. She never betrayed you. She never looked at me like that. She was always loyal to you. You punished her without any reason".

" But, she has filed a case against me. She sent me into jail," Abhinav said without any expression on his face.

" What she could do, bhai? Sorry to say but you tortured that pure girl viciously. She was so kind that she tolerated your every wrongdoing for 2 years without any sound just because of her family. Everyone has a patience level bhai. Finally,  she couldn't tolerate it anymore and has to take police help. Admit it or not you forced her to take this step,"  Arnav said in one go.

Arnav was always afraid of talking back with Abhinav. But, today he has to. He wants to erase all the misunderstanding. He wants to make his brother realise that how much wrong his brother was.

Abhinav's mind is now going back into time when he used to torture devika. Sometimes he used to feel guilty for hurting devika. But, the devil inside him never cared for her. The devil inside him always provoked him to torture her just because she is Bhabani's daughter. Arnav's every word is now effecting Abhinav's mind.

Suddenly,  Arnav kneeled in front of Abhinav and said crying, " I am sorry bhai. I am sorry. I never want to go against you. The morality that Ruhani ma installed inside me forced me to help devika. The brother inside me can never go against you."

Seeing Arnav,  Abhinav became more upset and his already fucked up mind is now becoming messier.

Abhinav has already psychological problems and now his mind is twisting too much after hearing Arnav's words.

Abhinav can't see his brother kneeling in front of him. He still loves his brother wholeheartedly. 

Abhinav said sternly," Arnav, just leave now".

Arnav said looking at Abhinav" Bhai, I am sorry. Ples......."

"Just leave," Abhinav yelled loudly. Arnav tried to say something but he stopped seeing his brother's pissed off condition. He stood up on his feet and kept standing here.

This time Abhinav yelled more loudly," Didn't you hear me? Just leave from here. Don't come to see me until I call you here".

Arnav doesn't want to face Abhinav's wrath so he left the place without uttering any sound.

Abhinav's p.o.v

" Who are you?" I asked the person who is in front of me standing. I was sitting on the cell's floor and thinking about devika when a person appeared in front of me. He looks exactly like me and he is looking at me with too much anger.

The person said without any expression on his face," I am you. I am your good inside which your mother used to cherish. I am your that self who always wanted you to not do any kind of crime. I am your that self which you killed a long time ago just for your revenge".

What the hell!! Am I seeing myself!!

I asked him," What do you want? Why are you here?"

He said bending to my level," Aren't you feeling guilty for hurting Devika? The woman you always loved. You loved her from the very first. You loved her from your childhood. Still, you hurt her for your revenge".

I can see the pure rage inside his eyes.

" No, you are not guilty. You don't love her. She was just a pawn in your revenge game. She is nothing for you," Suddenly, another person said.

I looked at the person and found another self of me who is looking like a devil and smirking at me.

I am now seeing both of them with too much confusion. They both are looking at me intensely. One is looking at me with pure rage and another is looking at me devilishly.

The first one said loudly," Devika was always innocent. She never betrayed you. Deep down in your heart,  you also knew this. You tortured her just because she is Bhabani's daughter.

The devil said angrily, " No, you did the right thing. She deserves all this".

" Whatever happened with you and your mother, it was not her fault. It was Bhabani's and Vivek's fault. At that time devika was just a child. She wasn't the one who abused your mother, she wasn't the one who beats you, she wasn't the one who snatched everything from your mother," The first one said with too much hurt and anger. He is saying all this and I can feel pure hatred in his voice.

This time the devil snapped at both of us," She is Bhabani's daughter. It's enough reason to hurt her".

I am becoming mad after hearing their arguments. I screamed holding my ears with my palm," Just stop it both of you. Stop talking about her".

But they didn't stop. Both of them said in unison," No, we won't stop. Today you have to hear."

I am telling them to stop but both of them refused.

Then, the first one said something which triggered my mind and heart both.

He said looking directly into my eyes," You blamed your father for your mother's misery, right?"

I just looked at him with a shocked expression. What's he asking? I said angrily," of course, I blame Vivek Aggarwal for my mother's misery. That shameless bastard tortured my mother without any reason".

The first one said," You are also going to be the father of 4 children. When your children will grow up and hear that their father abused their mother, don't you think your children will also hate you just the way you hate your father? Your children will also call you by dirty names just the way you call your father. Don't you think your children will also try to take revenge on you because you abused their mother? Don't you think they will also try to avenge their mother by killing you? They will hate you always".

Saying that he started laughing and said mockingly," You are like your father. A bastard".

I replied angrily," No, I am not like him. I am not".

But, he didn't stop. He continued his saying.

His every word are now roaming inside my head. About one thing, he is right. My children will also hate me because I have hurt their mother. He is right. After knowing the truth they will hate me. I did mistakes by torturing devika. She was innocent.

Now, the devil started saying," You suffered because of her mother. You suffered because of her. ....."

He couldn't complete his sentence when I started shouting. Just stop it. Just stop it. I want some peace. Get lost from here. Just get lost.

The first person said," Devika hates you and your children will also hate you. Nobody loves you. Your children hate you. They will never love you".

" no, they can not hate me. I love my children. I love my children's mother. Let me see my children and devika," I started yelling.

The two-person are laughing at me seeing my condition. I tried to punch them when they vanished in the air.

Now, I have started shouting her name. I shouted," Devika....Devika.....I want to see you...... I want to see our children...."

I am now pacing here and there inside this cell and calling her name continuously but she isn't coming. Suddenly, I felt like my head is spinning and I fell on the floor.

I am still screaming by her name. I shouted," Devika, I want to see you. I am not like my father. Don't tell our children to hate me".

" Don't hate me. My children can not hate me. Tell them I am not like my father. Let me see devika for once."

I am yelling like a mad person and I am feeling pressure inside my head. Before losing my full consciousness I heard two people saying loudly," Call the ambulance right now. We have to take him to the hospital".

After 3 months

Devika's p.o.v

"You all have come to see me, I am glad for that but don't request me to meet that man," I said to Agnihotri siblings who are standing in front of me and begging to meet their brother for once.

It's been 3 months that Abhinav Agnihotri is in a mental hospital under police custody. After his arrest, he has gone completely mad and the police have to shift him to the hospital. He is suffering from mental illness.

This mad man is now always want to see me. His siblings informed me that he doesn't meet anyone. He only screams my name and wants to meet me and my children.

My children haven't born yet and I don't want that vile creature's shadow falling on my children. I don't want my children to be born with his hatred, anger and madness.

The Agnihotri siblings are requesting me every day to meet their brother and I am refusing them every day.

Arnav said almost pleading," Devika, at least for once meet him. His condition is very bad. He needs you and his children".

I said without any expression,"  I don't care about him. I don't want to see his face. Don't force me to meet him".

Arushi held my hand and said crying," My brother is dying for you, devika. He only wants to see you. Please meet him for once".

I freed my hand from her grip and said with too much anger," Even if he dies, I will not see his face. He is nothing for me. Though he didn't sign the divorce paper I don't consider him as my husband. Our relationship is over".

Hearing me they all become shocked and looked at me with too much hurt. They didn't expect that I will hate their brother too much that I will not hesitate to talk about his death.

I said taking a deep breath," I am sorry for saying like that but I really don't care about your brother. He is nothing for me".

This time shocking me beyond level Avantika held my hands and said crying," Devika, please save my brother. Only you can save him. He is suffering too much."

" Ms Agnihotri, don't force me," I said jerking off her hands from me.

" I am sorry devika for whatever I have done. I am sorry for that day. Because of me, you have to endure bhai's wrath. I am sorry for behaving like a bitch with you in Shivay's matter. Please, save my brother", Avantika said wiping her tears.

I asked her confusingly," which day you are talking about?"

" That day it was me who mixed salt in kheer and you got beaten by bhai. I am sorry,  devika. I was jealous of you. That's why I did all this. Whatever I have done! I am really ashamed of myself. Please, see my brother for once," Avantika said with a vulnerable tone. I can see genuine love for her brother in her eyes.

" Sorry!! You are just sorry!! Hmm!! Because of your stupid jealousy, you can't even imagine what I have to endure!! Just because of you I tolerated your brother's torture. Do you know what your brother did with me that night?" I asked her being too much angry.

She is now lowering her head because of shame.

I said angrily," Look at me, Ms Agnihotri. Look at me. That night your brother broke 3 sticks on my back and raped me 5 times just because of a simple matter like that. I didn't forget anything. Neither I will forgive you nor I will forgive him".

Saying that I sat down on the nearby couch because I can not continue standing up for more time. I am now 9 months pregnant and the doctor has already given me the delivery date. I will give birth to my children after one week.

Arnav tried to say something when Apeksha di said coming in front of me," If you all want to continue talking about that man than I will say all of you to leave my house right now."

Warning is clearly audible in my voice.

Well, I am still in Apeksha Di's house because she requested me to stay here until I give birth to my children. I couldn't refuse her so I am living here till now.

Hearing her warning, the Agnihotri siblings become more upset and decided to leave the house.

Before leaving, they all blessed my children and wished for their well being. Avantika and Arushi left the room immediately but Arnav stopped.

He said looking into my eyes," He has gone completely mad without you. See him at least for once. At least show some pity for him."

Saying that he left the room and Apeksha Di followed him.

I said holding my belly," I will never ever see that man again in my life".

Author's p.o.v

Bhabani is doing something in Arnav's car when someone called her from behind. The person said," Mrs Bhabani Gupta?"

Bhabani became startled and looked behind her. She found Naveen Sinha who is looking at her with suspicious eyes.

Naveen Sinha asked her with an amusing tone," What are you doing at the parking lot? What are doing inside this Agnihotri siblings car?"

Bhabani smiled and said," Actually, I came outside to have some fresh air. I was doing nothing. I was just walking".

Hearing her Naveen Sinha chuckled and said lowering his voice," What are you hiding Mrs Bhabani Gupta? You are not so simple the way you looks. After all, you sold your own daughter to me".

This time Bhabani become irritated and said leaning towards Naveen's ear," I request you to not put your feet in my business. It will be best for both of us".

Saying that she left the parking lot. Naveen Sinha said looking at Bhabani's retreating figure," You are the weirdest and heartless mother I have ever seen in my life".

After Few Hours

Devika is sitting in front of the TV and watching news. Actually, she is not watching anything. She is just changing channel one after another.

Her whole mind is occupied by Arnav's words about Abhinav. She is thinking about everything. For some moments she remembered Abhinav and her whole system filled up with too much anger and loath for Abhinav.

Suddenly, she felt a kick inside her womb and she smiled brightly. She said affectionately," Just wait for another week and mamma will meet you all. Mamma has gotten so many small baby clothes for all of you. Mamma has gotten cradle......." She couldn't complete her sentence when she heard a reporter voices from the TV.

The reporter said," A few moments ago an accident occurred at Delhi Highway".

" The car is now totally burned "

" About the passenger's identity, the police told that the passengers were Renowned businessman Abhinav Agnihotri's siblings"

" The Agnihotri Siblings got into an accident. Nobody knows how the accident occurred".

" The passengers are taken to hospital"
