Chapter 22 Kneel and Beg, Margaret

"How could it be..." Sandra's face turned pale. This was unbelievable.

Margaret was just a newbie who didn't have a strong backing.

How did Haver Entertainment get alerted on this matter?

"Listen. If Margaret is not playing the role of Tiana, then you can forget about continue working here. Get out of the company immediately," The managing director banged the table angrily.

Sandra fell into a pit of despair.

She still remembered telling Margaret arrogantly that she would never let her act again.

However, reality gave her a hard slap on the face.

She did not only fail to ruin Margaret's career, but she now had to beg Margaret to return.

"Mr. Yarbrough, can you get someone else to get Margaret back..." Sandra just couldn't bear the thought of having to embarrass herself.

"Margaret was driven away by you. How dare you ask others to get her back." The managing director glared at Sandra.

In the end, Sandra was thrown out of the office.

She felt hopeless. If she could not get Margaret back, her career would be completely ruined.

She would be blacklisted by Galaxy Entertainment.

Getting blacklisted by an entertainment company was the ultimate doom of a manager.

After Margaret exited Galaxy Entertainment, she went home, heart heavy with regret, and slept for a long time.

She finally got up in a daze and poured herself a glass of water. As she was about to take a sip, her cell phone rang.

The depressed feeling dissipated when she saw who the dialer was. She curled her lips and answered the phone. "Honey..."

However, she did not hear the young, tender voice which she was expecting. Instead, it was a voice speaking in Milesburg's native language.

"Is Miss Simons speaking?" the person asked.

"Oh, yes, I am..." Margaret's tone turned serious, as if a huge stone was pressing on her heart.

"Miss Simons, as the child's treatment has reached its final stages, if the medical bills are still not fully paid, I'm afraid that we will have to stop the child's treatment," the person said.

"No, please don't stop it." Margaret's eyes widened and she quickly added, "I will get the payment done as soon as possible. Please don't stop the treatment."

"Alright, we hope you'd get the money ready soon, or else we'd also be put in a difficult spot," the other party replied helplessly.

After the call ended, Margaret threw the phone aside and buried her face into the pillow.

What should she do? She had  just been banned by her company, but she still needed to pay for the medical bills.

If she couldn't get the money...

Margaret didn't dare to think of the consequences.

She turned over and looked sideways, only to notice a notification from a Whatsapp group on her mobile phone.

It was a group chat for models which she had joined previously, and the notification was for a recruitment advertisement.

She had found this group chat on a local forum before returning to Haverland.

As she signed a contract with Galaxy Entertainment after she returned, she was forbidden to take on private jobs. Thus, she had never paid much attention to the group chat.

However, since she had been banned by Galaxy Entertainment from acting, she no longer cared about the contract.

Margaret checked the messages in the group chat.

"Ten o'clock, tomorrow morning at Emperor Clubhouse, a model for a swimwear advertisement is required. The height requirement is 165cm and above..." she muttered as she read the message.

Margaret pondered for a while before deciding to apply.

She was in an urgent need of money, and she could make some money from this.

Furthermore, swimsuits were actually just ordinary products. They were just sexualized by some people.

The spokesperson of the advertisement was a rising star. They were just looking for a background model, so this shouldn't be a problem.

Needless to say, Margaret's application passed with her outstanding traits and qualities.
