Chapter 30 They're For Margaret

Stephanie also filled up with excitement, but she pretended to be calm and asked coolly, "Really?"

"Yeah, and there are a lot of them," Tracy exclaimed in joy as she tiptoed to catch a glimpse of the gifts.

Several staff members brought in a few large boxes of gifts.

When a white plastic box was opened, a gust of cold air rushed out of it and everyone saw bottles of plum shakes inside.

Plum shakes were not unusual items.

What's surprising was the Emperor Hotel logo printed on the bottles.

The Emperor Hotel was a top-notch hotel in Asshington, and they rarely deliver goods to their customers unless the order was from an SVIP of the hotel.

However, there were few SVIPs from the Emperor Hotel!

"Oh my God, Miss Stephanie, your fans are really rich!" a crew member cheered.

Another crew member winked and said, "I don't think it's from her fans. It's probably from Mr. Whelan. Miss Stephanie, you should have told us earlier about such a big surprise. You shocked us."

Everyone knew about Zachary and Stephanie's relationship.

As everyone looked at Stephanie in envy, she felt herself floating on cloud nine. "I had no idea either. I guess Zachary wanted to surprise me."

"Oh, how sweet," they echoed.

"I'm full from the sweetness between you two, but I still want to drink the plum shake!" Someone said playfully.

The corners of Stephanie's mouth curled up uncontrollably. She waved her hand and said generously, "Let's share the plum shake."

"Awesome!" The crew passed the bottles of plum shake around.

As the bottles were being passed out, they realized that they were one bottle short. Tracy stared at Margaret, pretending to look sorry as she said, "Oh no... I'm really sorry, Margaret. There isn't enough plum shake. Should I give this to Stephanie or to you?"

Her loud voice got everyone's attention.

It was a hot summer, and most of the crew members felt great seeing someone else not being able to enjoy a refreshing drink while they could. They couldn't hold back their wicked joy and laughed at Margaret.

"Tracy, what kind of question is that? This is Mr. Whelan's gift to Stephanie. If you don't give it to Stephanie, who else would you give it to?" They mocked.

"That's right. How shameless would she be if she actually drank it?" Someone echoed.

Compared to an unpopular new artist like Margaret, everyone was more enthusiastic about pleasing Stephanie.

This was the reality in the entertainment industry.

Margaret looked at the crowd and kept quiet.

Stephanie felt gleeful seeing Margaret getting ridiculed. She took her mobile phone out and sent a message to Zachary, "Dear, thank you for the plum shakes you sent for my first shooting."

Soon, she received a reply.

"What plum shake?" Zachary wrote back.

"Aren't you the one who sent the Emperor Group's plum shake to us?" Stephanie sent another message to Zachary. Her smile froze and she suddenly got a bad hunch about this.

"We need to be an SVIP for that. Have you forgotten that we only have a VIP membership?" Zachary reminded her.

Who sent the plum shake then? Stephanie pondered to herself.

At this moment, one of the crew members who was sorting out the boxes found a card that was stuck in a box.

"Congratulations to Margaret Simons for joining her first film crew. From, your fan."

Everyone was shocked to their core upon hearing this as their eyes widened in disbelief.

What?

Was all the plum shake meant for Margaret?

Tracy was also startled by this news. She quickly walked over and snatched the card from him. "No, that's impossible..."

However, the name "Margaret" was clearly written on it. Seeing this brought her back to reality like a hammer.

To everyone's surprise, the plum shake was never meant for Stephanie, but they were for Margaret instead!
