Honey, I'll Make You a Star (Margaret and Charleston) novel Chapter 36

Chapter 36 Rogue

"What, what's going on?" One cameraman cried out in surprise.

According to the script, the male lead was supposed to press Tiana up against the wall, but the actress was held up instead.

This was truly a suggestive posture.

"Continue!" Yelled the director. The director's eyes brightened up at the gorgeous scene before him. The two worked so well together in depicting and expressing the feelings, the essence of the scene.

On the other side.

"You..." Margaret's eyes widened. She could not believe this.

How could this man escape so fast?

"I caught you, little one." Charleston whispered into Margaret's ear with a smirk. Charleston's voice was so soft that only the two of them could hear it.

Right after he finished his words, his tall body suddenly leaned in and his chest tightly pressed against her. He pinched her chin with one hand, lifted her head up slightly and kissed her lips. He then aggressively pried open her lips and attacked everything in her mouth with all his pent up sexual frustration.

Margaret could not resist his advances in front of everyone. She could only try her best to endure the man's domineering and passionate kiss.

She felt suffocated and ashamed.

The kiss only ended when the director yelled 'cut'.

"You guys did a fantastic job for this scene." The director praised them. He glanced at Charleston and thought that the male lead looked a little unfamiliar to him.

"Thank you, director..." Margaret said, gritting her teeth.

"Okay, that's all for today. Have a good rest," the director said with a smile.

Margaret nodded and the staff all left.

It was only then that Margaret dared to pinch Charleston hard on his arm. "Why are you here?"

"Something cam up for your on-screen love interest, so I'm here to replace him." Charleston said calmly, "What do you think of my performance?"

"Scoundrel!"

"How am I a scoundrel?" Charleston raised his eyebrows and asked with a faint smile.

Margaret could not believe how shameless this man was.

Did he really not know the answer?

Did he want her to tell him that he was a scoundrel because he made out with her in front of so many people?

Margaret wasn't as shameless as he was. She stamped her foot and then went to get changed; her face a red flush the entire time.

Charleston followed behind her. He looked at her walking away furiously and was amused by this.

After changing her clothes, Margaret did not see Charleston when she came out of the locker room. She let out a sigh of relief. However, when she walked out of Studio City, a black luxurious car pulled up and blocked her way.

Margaret gave Charleston a distant look and turned around to leave, but the door was half-opened.

Charleston forcefully took her hand and ordered, "Get in the car."

"I don't want to!" Margaret struggled.

If she got in the car, she would be digging her own grave.

"Are you sure you want to make a scene here?" Charleston raised his eyebrows.

Margaret paused for a moment. She was at Studio City, where there were many people around. It would be bad if the paparazzi caught them having a row in public.

Margaret wasn't a narcissist - she didn't actually think that the paparazzi would be interested in her. Instead, she was worried that the paparazzi would be all over Charleston, photographing him and then subsequently dragging her into this matter.

Hence, she could only reluctantly get into the car.

As soon as she sat down, Charleston suddenly leaned in. Margaret was immediately startled. She asked warily, "What are you doing?"

"Why do you look like I'm about to eat you?" Charleston pinched Margaret's face. He then whispered suggestively in her ear, "Naughty girl, I'll deal with you about what happened in the locker room once we get back."

Margaret's face immediately turned red. All of a sudden, she had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. What was this man going to do to her?
