Honey, I'll Make You a Star (Margaret and Charleston) novel Chapter 39

Chapter 39 This Is Ridiculous

As soon as they got changed, Stephanie immediately became unhappy.

"Why am I wearing white while Margaret is wearing red?"

"Because different personalities are represented by different outfit colors. This is to match with the character's personality." The makeup artist patiently explained to Stephanie.

"No, the ending scene will be shot later, and I heard that it will be made into a poster. The white dress that I'm wearing won't be as eye-catching as the red one. I want to change into the red outfit," Stephanie demanded.

"But..." The makeup artist was in a dilemma. He had no choice but to report to the director about this matter.

"This is ridiculous," the director frowned.

He could clearly see that Stephanie had the temper of a spoiled brat throughout the shooting period.

Her acting skills were laughable, but she still wanted to cause unnecessary trouble. If he didn't have to successfully wrap this shooting up, he would've already gotten her replaced eons ago.

"Maybe we could give that a try. What matters more isn't the color of the outfit, but the aura of the person," the photographer remarked.

The photographer had been specially sent from Oversea Jewelry Company to shoot for the posters.

"In that case, let's give it a shot." The director had no choice but to give in.

Margaret and Stephanie then switched outfits.

"Humph!" Stephanie, now in the red dress, deliberately walked past Margaret provocatively. She believed she could successfully steal Margaret's limelight this time.

They were informed that they would be taking both solo and group shots.

Stephanie could already foresee that the photographer would be irrevocably stunned by her during her solo shot, and that she would definitely overshadow Margaret when they were taking the group shots.

After all, acting skills could be learned, but fashion sense was innate.

Stephanie had done a lot of photoshoots for magazines before. However, this was Margaret's very first photoshoot, so she must be hilariously terrible at it.

"You're so beautiful." The photographer could not help but to compliment Stephanie when he saw her. Stephanie was indeed attractive. The red dress had made her look even more gorgeous. "Come, you can take the solo shot first."

"Okay." Stephanie nodded.

Soon, Stephanie stood in front of the camera with the snow pearl in her hand.

"Alright, eyes at the camera." The photographer said. Stephanie looked at the camera and smiled slightly.

After taking the shot, the photographer looked at his work. He scrunched his eyebrow as he said. "Please remember that you're playing Queenie. Think of her character."

Stephanie's red dress was indeed beautiful. It just lacked liveliness. In fact, it had become very dull once she put it on.

In other words, her character did not match the dress she had on.

It did not match at all.

However, Stephanie clearly did not understand this point, which is why all her photos taken afterwards were rejected.

She failed to depict her character well and to deliver the essence the photographer wanted to capture.

Initially, the photographer wanted to guide her on this, but it was like teaching a monkey algebra; she still did not understand things at all. So, he had to give up.

He reluctantly picked out a few pictures that barely made the cut.

"Okay, next." The photographer prompted.

Margaret heard his words and stood up. The photographer was charmed instantly when he saw Margaret in the white dress, his eyes glimmering with beauty.

Her innocent look was absolutely adorable. However, it still did not bring out her character, Tiana's essence.

The photographer felt that the new product launch would probably be a complete failure.
