Gary was stunned. He pointed at Anna and asked, "She's pregnant with your child. Do you want her to have an abortion?"

"No," Clark glanced at Anna's belly indifferently and said with a smile, "Keep the baby!"

"What about the wedding?" Gary asked immediately.

"Let's talk about it later," Clark raised his eyelids and said casually.

The result was totally out of Gary's expectation. Under such a circumstance, he had no idea how to convince the Ji Group to invest in the Bai Group.

With an aggrieved look on her face, Anna reached out her hand and held on to Clark's arm, saying, "Clark, are we not going to get married because of your parents' opposition?"

Gary rolled his eyes and took a seat beside Clark. "Mr. Clark, I have a business to deal with. Are you interested in it?" he asked in a flattering tone.

"Really?" Finally, Clark raised his head, waiting for his words.

"Here is the thing," Gary said after organizing his words, "Our company has some cash flow problems recently, so I want to ask the Ji Group to invest in us. Do me a favor, please. Of course, you'll benefit a lot in the future..."

But before he could finish his words, Clark cut in, "It's a significant matter. We must ask for the opinions of other shareholders before making a decision."

Then, Clark also stood up and left.

Gary stood up, followed Clark and said, "Clark, I will wait for your good news then."

When Anna found out that Clark didn't even look at her today, she didn't know what she had done wrong. Tears kept falling from her eyes.
