Zi Xiang chuckled and grabbed her chin gently, "are you jealous?"

"Can you stop grabbing my chin. It is very annoying. This is not a Korean drama or Chinese, whatever it is. Sheesh!" Sheri furiously glared at him.

"And stop with your illusion and release me!" Sheri became angry by his shameless actions. She tried to suppress it and tried to calm herself.

"You better be obedient and don't even think of running." Zi Xiang said and made a barrier surrounding her. The barrier is to cover up her presence and let her stay inside the room.

Sheri didn't say anything but had already formulated a plan.

When ZI Xiang walked out to talk to Xi Feng, she took the chance and reached for the magical sword she had and sliced through the vines bounding her. It was a lucky thing that Zi Xiang didn't use any energy force to tie her down. It was luck for her indeed. She brought out something she prepared for emergency cases like escaping from a deadly animal. She made a sleeping bomb.

Sheri waited for a few more seconds before the remaining particles of the powder disappear and made sure that the Master sect is knocked out. She was so happy. The barrier that surrounded her had already vanished. Looking at Zi Xiang, he badly wanted to kick him but stopped herself mindful that he might wake up. Instead, she noticed a pouch on his waist. Grabbing it, she saw some rings, some valuable pieces of stuff but it seemed like those things were useless for her. The only thing she took was a few silver, gold, gem left the rest behind. She gathered her stuff and walked out but saw a beautiful vase and a teacup. She took them again and put it on her bag. Finally, she walked out of the house with a satisfied and happy feeling.

She ran as fast as she could. While running, she wished she had a horse or something. She calculated that she only has 24 hours before the effect of the powder is gone but she knew that as a Master sect, Zi Xiang might be waking up sooner than that. She just shrugged the thought on the back of her mind and focused on reaching a far distance from the sect.

After some time, she finally reached a village. She approached an old woman tying her plants.

"Auntie do you know a place where I can buy a horse?" Sheri asked. Sheri wanted to be far from mountains as much as possible. For it to happen fast, she needs a horse.

The old woman looked at her.

"Oh child, where are you going? Any moment now it will be dark. It would not be good for you" The old woman said in concern.

"It's alright Auntie. I have a companion waiting for me, and we need to move" Sheri lied.

The woman still asked and tried to stop Sheri from traveling but on the end, the old Lady gave up instructed a kid who was running to show Sheri where she could buy a horse.

Taking the horse, Sheri didn't hesitate to pay one stone gem. The farmer whom she bought the horse was delighted.

Again at a fast pace, Sheri traveled on a horse until she arrived in a Capital. It was a long 3-day travel. She stopped between towns and rested for just a few hours and kept on changing horses.

With all the trouble of traveling, she was happy to meet a lot of people. Since she didn't want to be exposed to who she was, she dressed up like an ordinary merchant. She decided to settle on an inn and started to look for a house to buy. After a month, she settled in the capital of Huan Dynasty.

On the light sect.

An old man and a young man were playing a game of chess.

"So did you already find where Ah Mi lives?" The old man asked the young man.

The young man sighed. "No, but I am not in a hurry." The young man was Zi Xiang. He answered and moved one of his white piece.

He remembers the time he wakes up after Sheri threw the sleeping bomb. He slowly shakes his head and looks at his surroundings. He remembers Ah Mi. He runs outside and saw it was already night. He speeds and tries to feel her presence if she's nearby. But he cannot feel her presence. It took him the whole night looking for her. He was awake when his grandpa spoke.

"If you have already told her about your feelings, this will not happen." The old man lightly said.

"Checkmate" The old man further said and smiled looking at the face of his son.

Zi Xiang didn't respond.

Since childhood, he treated Ah Mi like a sister. He never had any feelings for her. And because he was the Master of the sect, he had to implement whatever punishment that was due to her. He did find that Xi Feng really matched him, but he didn't know why he's feeling changed the moment Ah Mi stopped looking for him. She even ran away from him. When he smelled her, he found it odd that it made his heart pound so fast. When he kissed her, his world stood still. It felt like that kiss was so familiar. A strange feeling that he couldn't describe. He was racking his brain where all those feelings coming from, but he couldn't find an explanation. One thing he was happy about is. He leaves something in her that no one can remove. No matter where she goes he will always find her.
