The Emperor was surprised to see the house of Sheri. It has a different design and structure from all the noble houses he went to. He observed the situation of the children. He saw small children being free just playing and fooling around while the older ones were either practicing sword or doing some unknown tasks.

The Emperor bestowed another residence for Sheri and the children to have enough space to use. Biyu's parents followed by giving a lump sum of money as a reward. At the end of the day, everyone needed to go back to their own homes. Biyu was then brought back home by her parents. Everyone left but the female lead and the Master sect stayed behind.

"Ah Mi, I never knew you're doing a good deed to the poor and the children." Xi Feng spoke.

Sheri looked at her and just nodded. This time, she didn't want to deal and get entangled anymore with the two people in front of her.

"I apologize but I have many things left to do, and also it's getting late. The children need to go to bed. Please help your self. Aunt Zhang will be of assistance with whatever you needed." Sheri excused herself and cupped her hands to her right chest for the greetings. Sheri winced in pain but didn't show it keeping a calm face.

Xi Feng looked at Zi Xiang. Zi Xiang the whole time was intense looking at Sheri. Sheri didn't care. Xi Feng can feel the change in the mode of Zi Xiang. She wanted to ask what's wrong but she stops herself.

"Ah Mi, we meet again." The red man chuckled and said noticing the confused gaze of Sheri.

"He even knows my name." Sheri wondered.

"Of course, I know what's your name. No one can escape from me. I even know you from the Light sect. Do I have to go on?" The man in red calmly said enjoying the surprised expression of Sheri.

"Hold up! how?..." Sheri blurted out.

The man in red chuckled and in a flash, appeared beside Sheri and seized her. She was left stupefied. The man lifted his hand and held her chin gently as his face came closer. Before his lips met hers, a sudden force brushed past as Zi Xiang appeared.

"It seems like the Red Sect is not busy today." Zi Xiang coldly said as he separated Sheri from the man in red.

"Whoa! What are you doing here?!" Sheri was given another surprise by the unexpected appearance of Zi Xiang.

"Can I not rescue my woman?" Zi Xiang glanced at her.

"Who? Who is your woman?" Sheri and the man in red asked in unison.

"I guess you forgot what we did in our home." Zi Xiang sighed. He faced Sheri and gently gathered her hair placing it on the other side of her neck. A mark could be seen on her skin.

"Wait! What are you doing?!" In frustration, Sheri wanted to slap his hand, but he was faster and revealed a visible mark on her neck.

"You marked her without her permission. That is very bold of you." The man in red showed a hint of a surprise seeing the mark.

"What mark?" Everything that's happening made Sheri even more confused. She had no idea what they were talking about.

"You better not come here anymore." Zi Xiang sternly warned the man in red.

"Don't worry Ah Mi. I will find ways to unbind that mark."The man in red was unconcerned about Zi Xiang and faced Sheri.

"Huh? What are you talking about? Can someone explain to me what's going on?!"

Unknowingly to Sheri, the time Zi Xiang kidnapped her and bought her in his home, he immediately put a mark on her. It signifies that he made her as his own and himself as hers. This mark meant that no one can touch her and she only belonged to him and likewise since both of them have the same mark.

Sheri immediately struggled Zi Xiang's embrace and dashed towards the bronze mirror. The moment she saw the mark on her neck, her expression showed anger. She was beyond furious.

Sheri knew over the lover's mark. Only the master sect can imprint something on their lover. It is a symbol that through their life they will be lovers.

"You marked me! How dare you!" Sheri glared at Zi Xiang and gave him a slap.

"Damn!" Sheri cursed and held her hand.

Zi Xiang had understood Sheri's anger. He sighed as he held her painful hand and healed it in one go. Sheri still winced. Her injury on her chest was still tender and hurting.

Zi Xiang noticed her painful expression and asked,

"What happened? Where are you hurt?". He tried to reach out to her but Sheri slapped his outstretched hand.

"Let go of me! You're hurting me more."

Zi Xiang then let her go and Sheri held her chest. It was indeed painful.

Looking at Sheri's hurting expression, Zi Xiang didn't have a choice but to seize her again.

"Hold still. I wont hurt you." Zi Xiang used his power to make Sheri still.

" You're hurting me!" She almost tear up because the pain in her chest worsened whenever she was being magically pulled or kept still.

"If you don't move, you will not be in pain!" He slowly removed her robe. He didn't remove her inner garment since he could already see blue marks on her skin. Looking at the bruises, his face cannot be described.

" Zi Xiang, this is inappropriate. Release me now!"

"Who did this to you?!" Zi Xiang was mad but started to heal her right away using his energy. Then he gave her a pill and water to drink.

Sheri was still feeling furious but was calmed down by a something warm filling up her chest. The fresh pain she felt in that area slowly faded. The pill she took afterward gave her relief. She felt really good like the trouble she experienced never happened before.

Assessing that Sheri was feeling better, he released his hold on her.

"Now, tell me who did it!"

Sheri turned around to look at her reflection in the bronze mirror. The bruises were really gone. She pressed it and indeed, it didn't hurt anymore. She fixed herself knowing she's still not alone in the room.

"None of your business but anyways, thank you!" Her expression turned out to be calm and unconcerned.

"None of my business?" Zi Xiang, hearing her response, walked toward where she was standing.

Sheri knew what would happen once he told the truth.

"It is indeed not your business. B-but if you really wanted to know, I accidentally fell." She started to panic as he came closer even her explanation.

"Hmm, even if you don't tell me who it is. I know that it has something to do with the man in red. Isn't it? Perhaps you had an encounter with him somewhere accidentally. Am I wrong?"

Zi Xiang was thinking the whole time how Ah Mi attracted the man in red. He still wasn't sure where and when they encountered each other. Everything was already clear for him.

"Can you please go? there are so many people waiting outside.". Sheri sighed.

Zi Xiang held her hand. Sheri struggled but Zi Xiang held it very tightly.

"I will see you later" Zi Xiang vanished in an instant leaving Sheri dumbfounded.

"What the f*** is this all about!" Sheri was overwhelmed with everything that happened. Unknowingly to her, the two Master sect met somewhere.

"She will never be yours. Just know that I will do everything to unbind what you did." The man in red sternly said.

"Haha! The only way you can unbind the mark is to kill me." Zi Xiang taunted.

"Then so be it." The man in red brought out his flute. He had created a melody that was sharp and considered to be very disturbing. Everything that the melody and notes pass through, it would immediately wither. He played the melody on sight.

Zi Xiang was calm and just stood in the same position. At the time the melody passed through him, a big boom could be heard as smoke arose. After the smoke dissipated, Zi Xiang was still standing on the same spot unharmed.

"As it is expected of the most honorable Master sect. But I assure you, I will defeat you!" The man in red rebuked and attacked him bringing out an energy sword.

Zi Xiang easily avoided his attack. They exchanged blows for some time and seeing an opportunity, he punched him in one go. The man in red avoided the hit and flew back. The energy coming from Zi Xiangs' punch made an impact on the tree, turning it into ashes.

The man in red lifted up his flute and played another sound. This time, the melody was something different and strange. The notes were complicated but was formulated in a deadly way. Every single note that the flute produced created an aggressive move, killing everything on its path.

As the melody spread out, Zi Xiang shielded himself with an energy force. Since the notes continuously kept coming, the shield showed signs of weakening. He dashed out and aimed at the man in red making him stop from playing more notes. He brought out his sword and clashed with the man in red. Sound of sword fight could be heard throughout the mountain. Not even a single cricket could be heard and seen in the place of the fight. The energy force that was being released caused the beast to flee. Everything in the surrounding took ran away to avoid being involved in the fight.

The female lead sensed the fight and went straight toward the location. She saw her Master sect and a man in red exchanging attacks. She flew beside her Master sect and in an attempt to help Zi Xiang but was reprimanded.

"Get out of here!" Zi Xiang ordered.

"I can help." Xi Feng wasn't perturbed.

"You even brought your famous disciple." The man in red said and aimed his next attack at Xi Feng.

Zi Xiang saw through his intention and tried to pull the female lead to avoid his attack but due to miscalculations, he was hit. He retreated back despite the hit on his body with the female lead in his arms.

"Master!" Xi Feng worriedly shouted.

" Get out of here." Zi Xiang once again ordered.

Xi Feng was scared by his voice. She suddenly felt still and couldn't move. Zi Xiang acted fast and vanished together with Xi Feng, leaving the man in red alone. He didn't have a choice but to go back. He also vanished into thin air and went back to his temple. He then started to research about the lovers' mark. He tried to find out how to unbind them.
