I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 86

Chapter 86: Does Mr. Lawrence Seem Proud?

Myles turned at the sound and looked at Yanis. "Huh? What's wrong?"

"Did you say Zane was going to promote Neve?"

Myles subconsciously looked at Bonnie.

Not expecting Yanis to hear their conversation, Bonnie coughed and said, "Yanis, actually..."

"Bonnie, I heard everything."

Yanis interrupted Bonnie when she was about to hide the truth.

Bonnie touched her nose and looked at Myles. "I need you to stay and explain."

Bonnie pulled Yanis in the room.

Myles raised her hand to scratch her messy short hair before walking into the room after Yanis and Bonnie.

Bonnie put her suitcase away, sat down with Yanis and looked at Myles. "Give me all the datails from the beginning."

Myles confessed everything like a prisoner on trial.

After listening to Myles' words, Yanis was miraculously calm, she did not feel angry, not a stir in her heart.

What Zane did for Neve seemed like a matter of course.

Even completely normal.

"Yanis, that scumbag is full of shit. Don't you..."

"Bonnie, Neve deserves it, doesn't she?"

Bonnie tried to say something, but Yanis stood up and said, "I'm tired. I need to rest now."

Looking at Yanis' silhouette, Bonnie sighed.

When Yanis was gone, Bonnie looked at Myles and whispered, "Myles."

"Yeah?"

"I need you to find me some dudes." Bonnie said.

Myles raised his eyebrows. "Dudes for what?"

"I'm going to kill that scumbag! I don't give a shit!" Bonnie snarled.

Myles listened to Bonnie and raised his eyebrows slightly. "Bonnie, killing a man won't change his mind, who he doesn't like will always be the same."

Bonnie glared at him. "It's not about who likes who! I just hate that scumbag. I just want to beat him, okay?"

Myles chuckled. "You hate a lot of people these days, do you?"

"Not your business."

Looking at that raging Bonnie, Myles gave a gentle rub on the top of her head and whispered, "I can deal with Neve, but don't mess with Zane, okay?"

Bonnie really wanted someone to beat the crap out of Zane, but she's won't make it happen.

Bonnie knew exactly what kind of power and status Zane holds in Manches City.

Even the Hughes family had to give place to the Lawrence family, including Zane.

She was only a bluffer, but Neve was not.

The gentler Zane was with Neve, the meaner she would be against Neve!

"Well, you can go now." Bonnie got up and shoved Myles away, then closed the door and went to Yanis.

Yanis sat on the edge of the bed, staring out of the window. No one knew what she was thinking.

Bonnie sat down beside Yanis, pulled her head gently over her shoulder, and said, "Yanis, just let go."

Yanis didn't say anything, but her eyes got wet.

"Don't struggle, don't be resentful, life is too short to spend more five years."

"Yanis, five years is plenty of time."

After a while, Yanis turned around and hugged Bonnie, shaking, trying not to cry out but she couldn't.

Bonnie patted Yanis on the back but didn't say another word.

After midnight, Yanis took a shower and lay down in bed.

Bonnie watched Yanis fall asleep before getting up to take a shower and finishing her work.

...

M Country, hotel.

Zane woke up, washed up and was about to see Yanis.

After a whole night time, Zane thought Yanis should be calm now. He wanted to talk to her.

But as soon as he opened the door, the words Zane had planned to tell fell apart.

The cleaner was sorting things out at the door, apparently the guest had checked out.

Otherwise the cleaner won't be here.

Zane stood in the doorway holding the doorknob, feeling lost.

When the door on the other side opened and Ivan came out of the room, carrying a small suitcase, did Zane recovered his thoughts and looked at Ivan.

Ivan, pulling the suitcase with one hand, looking cold as he caught Zane's eye.

Neither of them intended to say hello to the other.

Ivan grabbed his room key, closed the door, and pulled his suitcase to leave.

"Where's Yanis?"

As Ivan walked by, Zane spoke at last.

Ivan stopped and looked back at Zane standing at the door of the room, with a faint smile on his lips. "Mr. Lawrence tells great joke. How could I know where is Yanis?"

Zane looked at Ivan with cold eyes. "Stay away from her." He warned in a low voice.

Ivan sneered when he heard Zane's words, "Mr. Lawrence, who are you to warn me to stay away from Yanis?"

"As long as we're not divorced, we're still married, and Mr. Baxter will never stand a chance."

"Mr. Lawrence seems to have forgotten that the situation between you and Yanis is nothing more than a divorced couple."

At this point, Ivan paused, "And Mr. Lawrence's behavior of pestering Yanis while having a strong affection for Miss Bennett is really shameful!"

"What's that got to do with Mr. Baxter?"

Ivan sneered, loosened his grip on the suitcase and looked at Zane. "Does Mr. Lawrence seem proud?"

Ivan suddenly raised his hand and punched Zane. "If you were a man, you should be clear what to do, instead of holding up two people!"

Zane was caught off guard and staggered to his feet.

The next second, Zane raised his hand and punched back.

The cleaner beside startled when they started a fight, called security with her walkie-talkie.

They were about the same height, and they both fought with full strength.

It was hard to part them.

Ivan was a little bit weaker than Zane, who exercises regularly and even trained in taekwondo.

After several rounds, Ivan was clearly out of his breathe.

But thinking about what Zane did to Yanis, Ivan desired to kill Zane.

They were finally separated by seven or eight security guards.

Zane's fighting skill was amazing. It took four or five men to hold him back.

Although Zane unilaterally abused Ivan, by the end of the day, both of them were injured and bled.

"Calm down, gentlemen, we can still talk it out!" The hotel manager was pretty scared, too.

However, the manager knew both of them.

Ivan was also something of a celebrity in M Country. After all, everyone could see him on the TV screen at least once a day.

As for Zane, he was a VIP customer of their hotel, so of course the manager knew him.
