I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 128

Chapter 128 Can You Make One for Me?

It rained a lot in Manches City when Autumn came.

Yanis and Ivan couldn't go to the University of Armstrong in the morning because of the heavy rain.

One of Bonnie's clients was getting married. Because the client was pregnant, the wedding dress was a little tight.

So, she called Bonnie and asked her to come over for help.

Bonnie drove away from home early in the morning.

Several employees of the studio didn't go there because of the heavy rain. So Yanis was in the studio alone.

She sat on the chair beside the window, watching the heavy rain outside.

The phone on the table buzzed, bringing Yanis back to reality.

Glancing at the caller ID, Yanis couldn't help but frown. Staring at the screen for a long while, she didn't intend to answer the call.

She hang up the call but her phone rang again. Yanis then turned on the silent mood.

The wind blowing in from the door was a bit cold, Yanis got up and went upstairs to get a coat.

When she came down again, her phone had stopped ringing. The person called three times.

When Yanis went to close the studio door, she saw a red Ferrari.

A man and two women got out of the car and walked in directly.

Yanis stood up and greeted, "Hello."

The woman walking in front glanced at Yanis and then looked at the wedding dress on one of the models, "We want to order a wedding dress with a unique design. How long will it take?"

"From design to finalization to the product, it takes a little more than a month. If it is urgent, it will take half a month." Yanis knew the basic processes.

The other woman looked at Yanis. "Can you show us other pictures of the finished product?"

Yanis responded, "No problem, please take a seat. I'll go get the album."

"Hurry up, we are busy." The woman who spoke first urged her.

Yanis responded and went inside to get the album, and sent a message to Bonnie by the way.

She asked Bonnie when she would be back.

However, Bonnie didn't reply immediately, probably because she was busy.

Yanis took the album, "The dresses on the first few pages take a little longer to make. If you are urgent, take a look at the dresses from the third page to the sixth page. They take less time to make."

"Okay, leave us."

Yanis nodded and brought them some tea.

The two women were choosing the dress while the man sat aside.

After a while, the man took out his cigarette and was about to light it.

Yanis reminded softly, "Sorry, sir, smoking is not allowed in the studio."

The man raised his eyes and looked like Yanis, "Not allowed?"

Yanis nodded, "Yes."

With a cigarette between his fingers, the man looked at Yanis provocatively, "Why if I insist?"

Yanis looked at the man sitting on the chair beside him, and frowned slightly, "If you really want to smoke, you can go to the door."

The man was immediately annoyed. He looked at Yanis with a cold expression, "It's raining so heavily outside, are you blind? Did you ask me to go out?"

Yanis was speechless.

The provocatively lit up the cigarette in front of Yanis, and exhaled at her, "I'm smoking here today!"

Yanis frowned. When she was about to speak, she thought of something. So instead, she said, "Then be careful."

The man glanced at Yanis displeased, "Are you the boss here?"

"No, this is my friend's studio."

The man snorted coldly, "Since it's not your shop, mind your own business!"

The man was looking for trouble. Yanis didn't want to argue. So, she kept silent.

The two women were done. "We want this one."

Yanis bent over to look at the dress that the woman pointed to. "This one may take a little longer."

One of the women asked displeasedly, "Didn't you say that the dresses after the third page take a shorter time?"

"This is on the eighth page. The styles and workmanship on the back are more complicated, so..."

"Just tell me, can we get it in half a month?"

Yanis said truthfully, "This one will take a month at least."

"I want this one, half a month!" The woman took out a card from her wallet and slapped it on the desk, "I will pay the full amount directly."

Yanis glanced at the bank card that the woman slapped on the desk indifferently, "I'm really sorry, this one will take at least a month. Half a month won't do."

"Is this how you treat your customers? Shouldn't you meet all the needs of the customers? "

"While meeting the needs of customers, we must also ensure quality. We can't always satisfy customers in terms of time, but perfunctory in terms of quality."

After Yanis finished speaking, she looked at the woman who spoke, "Why don't you choose another one?"

The woman was about to speak, but was stopped by the woman beside her, who looked at Yanis, "Are you an employee here?"

Yanis hesitated for two seconds, then nodded, "I'm an intern."

"I see. I know the owner of this store. Can you call her? I'll talk with her."

Yanis didn't refuse. She called Bonnie.

It took a while for Bonnie to answer the call. Before Yanis could speak, Bonnie's voice came from the phone, "Yanis, what's wrong?"

Yanis briefly told her about the situation, and then handed the phone to the woman who spoke just now.

"Hi, Ms. Cooke, I'm Connie Lowe, I ordered a few dresses from you before. Do you still remember me?"

Bonnie responded, "I do. But the one you chose just now takes a month at least, because the workmanship is slow, and some of the decorations need to be customized in advance before being put on manually. It all takes time. Miss Lowe, if you are in a hurry, pick another one. There are some new styles in the back. Why don't you take a look?"

Connie looked at Yanis for a few seconds while listening to Bonnie's words and then said, "You posted some jewelry on your Twitter before. There is one I like very much, and I want to give it to a friend as a wedding gift. Can I order one?"

"I'll be back in about half an hour. Would you like to wait for me and we'll talk face-to-face?" Bonnie asked...
