Yanis hesitated before reaching out to take it.

Lucia ignored her and looked at Zane. "Zane, are you going to watch me die in front of you?"

Zane stood still at the stairs and just looked at Lucia.

"Do you really want me to die for a slutty woman like Yanis?"

Lucia pushed him hard, giving Zane no way to say no.

Just then, the phone in Zane's pocket started ringing.

Zane, who wasn't in the mood at the time, didn't answer the phone. He just looked at Lucia.

After all, Lucia was the one who gave birth to him, so he couldn't ignore her or just watch this happen.

However, the phone kept ringing.

Edison, sitting aside, glanced at Zane. "You answer the phone first."

Zane hesitated and took out his phone.
