I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 209

Chapter 209 Why Don’t You Contact Myles?

Because of the incident just now, Bonnie and the others left early.

Darin was there to show his support to Vivian, so naturally, he couldn't leave in advance. "Go back to the hotel first, and I'll contact you when it's over here, and then I'll make a new appointment."

Bonnie nodded, "Okay, see you later. Please say thank you to Vivian for me."

Darin responded, "No problem, please go back to the hotel to rest for a while, see you later."

Just as Darin left, Ivan arrived.

Seeing them standing at the door, he asked, "Already finished?"

"No, something happened, so we decide to go back early," Yanis responded. "Are you going up to say hello to Darin?"

"Maybe later. I didn't tell him that I will come," Ivan said and looked at Bonnie again, "Are you going back to the hotel now?"

Bonnie nodded, "Yes."

Ivan is a very thoughtful person and he noticed that something was wrong with Bonnie, so he inquired about it on their way back.

Yanis and Myles didn't speak, but Bonnie spoke briefly.

Ivan frowned and asked, "Where is that person? Has he been taken away by the police?"

Bonnie hummed, "Maybe he will be detained for a few days."

"It's good that you're fine. Go have a good rest," said Ivan.

He comforted Bonnie.

Along the way, Myles didn't talk much.

The car arrived at the hotel.

Myles got out of the car and looked at Ivan. "Ivan, may I use your car?"

Ivan didn't hesitate and handed over the car key to Myles.

Myles got into the car without saying anything and then drove away.

He didn't glance at Bonnie and informed her about his abrupt departure.

Watching the car leaving, Yanis asked Bonnie in a low voice, "Did you quarrel with Myles?"

Bonnie withdrew her gaze from the leaving car and replied, "No."

"Let's get in," Ivan said in a timely manner.

Yanis and Bonnie entered the hotel.

"Go have a rest for a while, and I will come to you later," said Ivan.

He didn't want to disturb them and went back to his room first.

Yanis and Bonnie went back to the room. Yanis looked at Bonnie and said softly, "Do you want to take a shower?"

Bonnie nodded and then went into the bathroom.

Yanis watched Bonnie enter the bathroom, then walked to the sofa.

It was at this time that Zane's call came in.

Yanis stared at the screen for a long while before answering the phone, "Hello?"

"Are you okay?" Zane asked in a caring voice on the phone.

Yanis paused for a moment, and then said, "I am fine."

"I'll find someone to look after you, and..." said Zane.

"No, thanks. Myles and Bonnie are here with me." Yanis interrupted him directly.

Both of them fell silent at the same time.

After a while, Anika's voice came from the phone, "Zane, I'm a little hungry, when will Sophia come over?"

Anika's voice brought Yanis back to her senses. She said, "Don't worry about me. Go and take care of Anika."

Before hanging up the phone, Zane asked in a low voice, "What time is the flight tomorrow?"

Yanis held the phone more tightly and replied, "I haven't booked the ticket yet and will do it later. You don't have to pick me up."

Zane wanted to say more, but Yanis didn't give him a chance. "I still have something to do, goodbye," said Yanis.

Then she hung up the phone.

Putting down the phone, Yanis took a deep breath.

At the thought of Neve's threat, Yanis hesitated for a long time and postponed her flight for one day.

In the evening, Darin called Yanis and made an appointment for dinner.

Myles didn't come back at night, but he asked someone to drive Ivan's car back.

"Bonnie, can you please make a phone call to Myles?" advised Ivan.

Ivan got the car keys at the front desk and looked at Bonnie.

Bonnie shook her head and responded, "Sorry, I cannot. Don't worry about him."

Ivan was about to say something about Myles, but changed the topic, "Then let's go to meet Vivian first. Darin said that Vivian would fly to Burumal in the early morning, and the time is a bit pressing."

Bonnie hummed and got into the car with Yanis.

It took several minutes for them to arrive at the restaurant.

It's a private-dish restaurant.

When they arrived, Darin was already waiting for them in the hall.

"Myles didn't come with you?" Darin asked Bonnie.

"No, he's busy now," answered Bonnie.

Darin nodded and didn't ask more.

They went to an exclusive room.

Vivian was already inside.

They made introductions, greeted each other, and took their seats.

The three ladies were asked to order the dishes.

Vivian didn't like spicy food but preferred light flavor.

As Bonnie was not well prepared, Vivian went straight to the point, "I noticed your designs before and they are impressive. Darin also recommended them to me."

Bonnie was flattered in surprise and replied humbly, "Thanks for your compliment. There are still some deficiencies in my designs."

Vivian said, "Yes, indeed. But it is lucky that you are aware of the shortcomings and not so much needs to be improved. But if you want to promote your work in the international market, you still have a lot to improve."

Vivian paused and added, "Do you want to stay here for an improvement?"

Bonnie didn't expect Vivian acted so decisively. She hesitated for a few seconds and asked, "You mean I have to stay here?"

Vivian nodded, "Yes, I will arrange for someone to instruct you and optimize your designs for three months."

Bonnie replied with hesitation, "It may ... not be convenient for me to stay here."

Vivian frowned and advised, "Or you can come once a week?"

Bonnie nodded promptly, "Okay, no problem."

Although Bonnie wanted to have a partnership with Vivian and establish her own brand, she didn't want to give up her business and studio in Manches City. Moreover, she was still worried about Yanis.

Bonnie would keep being worried about Yanis if she stayed in M Country for three months because it was a critical period for Yanis.

"Okay, it is settled! Let's talk about the rest of the details in private," said Vivian.

Bonnie nodded, "Okay."

The two exchanged their contact information.

After a simple dinner, then they left.

Ivan sent Yanis and Bonnie back to the hotel, then he drove directly to Darin for a talk.

"Bonnie, why don't you contact Myles?" In the elevator, Yanis asked Bonnie in a low voice.

Bonnie was silent for a few seconds and said, "No."
