Neve sat on the sofa in the living room and watched Yanis standing on the awards-presenting platform on the TV screen. Her eyes were filled with obvious coldness.

A man came out of the bedroom and glanced at the TV screen. "What's up with you? Are you feeling a crisis?"

Hearing the man's voice, Neve held back her thoughts and said, "When are you leaving?"

"You force me to leave?" said the man.

Neve frowned and said, "Nancy will come over later, I have something to talk to her."

Jack sat down beside Neve, and put one hand on the sofa, seeming to hold Neve in his arm. "Never mind. I won't bother you."

Neve turned to look at him and said, "Jack, don't push me too hard, okay?"
