I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 356

Chapter 356: My Love For Her Is Not Gradual, But Premeditated.

Zane took Yanis into his arms. "Not yet."

Hearing his words, Darin glanced at Ivan and said, "Shall you go to my house? Maybe Yanis needs to take a day off before she comes back?"

Ivan planned to go back to Manches City in the afternoon of the day he finished the event, but he changed his mind after knowing that Yanis was also in M Country.

He told Madison that he would go back this morning, but he still came to see Yanis first.

"It's up to you."

Ivan answered him first.

Darin glanced at him again and didn't say anything.

Zane turned to look at Yanis.

Actually, there was no one Yanis cared about in Manches City. The only one was with her, so nothing was special.

"Whatever."

Yanis's voice was very soft and it seemed that she was a bit weak.

Zane didn't want Yanis to be discharged today originally.

But Yanis said that she didn't want to stay in the hospital. In addition, the doctor said that she was much better now and it was okay for her to recuperate at home, so he went through the discharge procedures.

They were not in a hurry to return to Manches City.

Therefore, Zane was in no hurry to book tickets back with Darin's proposal.

Instead of going to Darin's house, they reserved a hotel in the center.

Darin drove Zane and Yanis to the hotel.

"Mr. Lawrence, shall we have dinner together tonight?"

Darin had some business dealings with Zane and they got acquainted on account of Yanis, so he made such an invitation.

Zane declined politely, "No, thanks. Yanis needs to rest."

After his words, Darin turned silent and nodded. "OK."

That done, Darin looked at Yanis and said softly, "Have a good rest."

Yanis nodded at Darin.

Ivan had been sitting in the co-pilot and kept silent.

Until Zane and Yanis were about to get out of the car, Ivan suddenly spoke, "I want live in the hotel. You can go back on your own. "

Hearing Ivan's words, Darin looked at Ivan in shock. "Well, you're alone…"

"I want to talk to Zane." As he spoke, Ivan glanced out the window of the car and his eyes fell precisely on Yanis. "The last thing I want to do for her."

Staring at Ivan for a long time, Darin opened his mouth to say something to him, but he finally swallowed the words that were about to came to his mouth.

He had been getting along with Ivan for so long that he knew well what kind of person he was.

Once some decisions were made in his heart, it was futile for others to say anything.

Therefore, Darin didn't say anything.

"So you're not going back to Manches City today?"

Ivan responded, "Well, you can tell them I was drunk and didn't get up."

Ivan knew that Madison would call him then.

So before getting out of the car, he handed the phone to Darin. "Please take my phone and get me some cash."

Darin, "…"

Knowing that Ivan was determined, Darin got him some cash and helped Ivan check in before leaving.

Zane and Yanis lived on the twelfth floor and Ivan lived on the thirteenth floor.

Yanis was interested in nothing and she even didn't want to talk with Ivan.

After going upstairs, she went straight back to her room.

After Zane settled Yanis, he went to the thirteenth floor to find Ivan.

Instead of coming into the room, Ivan stood at the door with a cigarette held in his hand. Looking Zane come over, he stood up straight. "Is it OK to leave Yanis alone in the room?"

Zane stepped forward and leaned against the wall in the same position as Ivan. "I've got someone watching her."

Zane was worried that Yanis would come out, so he had asked for the room service and asked the staff to watch at the door before he went up.

Ivan didn't expect Zane to be so careful.

"Did Albi find out something fishy about the flight attendant?"

Zane replied, "Yeah. Do you have any more cigarettes?"

Ivan took a cigarette out of his pocket and handed it to Zane. By the way, he handed him the lighter.

Zane took the cigarette and the lighter. He lit the cigarette he was biting and asked, "Did you investigate it, too?"

Ivan didn't deny it and directly asked Zane, "How do you plan to deal with this?"

Zane bit the cigarette and narrowed his eyes. "I'll give Yanis an explanation for this matter."

"Not to Yanis."

Ivan corrected him. "It's also to you. The baby isn't only Yanis's."

Zane smoked nonchalantly. "You like Yanis, right?"

Zane changed the topic too suddenly, which made Ivan a bit stunned.

Listening to him, Ivan frowned and didn't know how to answer.

However, Zane didn't give him the chance to answer. "I thought Yanis was a very scheming person in the past, and she married me and became a member of the Lawrence Family only for money. After all, the Thompson family has asked me for a lot of money over the years."

Listening to Zane, Ivan twisted his eyebrows more tightly but he didn't interrupt.

"In the five years since she married me, no matter what I did, her enthusiasm never ebbed away. She knew all my habits, knew what I liked and disliked. But I knew nothing about her."

"I didn't know what she liked and disliked."

Speaking of this, Zane frowned and took a puff of cigarette before speaking again, "It wasn't until I filed for divorce that I realized that Yanis was very exceptional but she gave up what she liked and her glory for me."

"I've seen her shine on the stage where she should have been standing. But she gave up many opportunities for me."

Ivan listened quietly to Zane narrating his innermost feelings.

After listening to him talk about his relationship with Yanis in the past five years, he gradually realized that Zane had already seen Yanis in his own territory and regarded her as his person, which Zane himself were not aware of.

"Do you think my love for Yanis is developed gradually?"

Hearing his question, Ivan looked at him.

Zane finished the cigarette and squeezed the butt between his fingers casually. "NO."

"NO?"

Zane nodded. "My love for her is not gradual, but premeditated."

As for the details, Zane didn't mention a word in front of Ivan.

Ivan didn't ask more. He asked Zane while looking at him, "What's the point of telling me this?"
