I will see you in my Dreams novel Chapter 40

Thank you for the visit Sir Ari and Mam Hannah. I know you're still exhausted from the trip but you both prioritized talking to me. I learned from my mother that Mam Hannah met with her. She was very grateful and so was my sister Myrna. I learned also that Aaron started his investigation when you're in California. I still have people that I can call and ask for help. I told them to tell Gen Mar what they know about Aaron's inquiries. I am assuming that Gen Mar had his private investigation too. We made sure that Aaron's investigation regarding my family will be a total waste of time so he can let go and move to California to further his studies.

You're right Mr. San Diego, Aaron talked to me this morning about enrolling early. He will leave for California in the next seven days, Ari said.

Hannah was so silent, not joining the conversation. She just sits there and listens.

I am guessing that we are successful in diverting Aaron's attention. I can't thank you enough for taking care of Aaron, guiding him to be a better person. He told my mother that he will follow in the footsteps of his Dad Ari and his Mom Hannah. We are very grateful, we owed you both a lot.

Finally, Hannah speaks her thoughts about the whole scenario.

Just so you know Mr. San Diego that this is a temporary setback. Aaron is smart, he is aware that he is not equipped yet to go further with his inquiries. When the time he got his wings, I am pretty sure that he will continue these investigations. Now, I have a quick question for you....when that time comes, will you allow us to let him know about his true identity?

I understand your point Mam, I would suggest crossing the bridge when we get there. I wish he will stop searching. I know he is happy with his life. Maybe he is just curious.

We don't have to discuss a lot of things today, Aaron decided to leave early. We have to go. Take care of yourself.

Thank you for your time, Mr. and Mrs. Davis. God Bless you both.

The couple exited at the back of the prison building for confidentiality.

The next morning, a breakfast meeting with Dr. Sullivan is very informative. Aaron's leaving early contributed to a positive analysis by the psychologist. We will leave it that way for now. I suspect that he knew some information but because he is brought up well, he was looking on the good side, not on the destructive side of it. Let it be for the meantime.

The couple went home feeling relieved. The anxiety that was building up in Hannah's mind is diminishing.

Meanwhile, Aaron is preparing his stuff to bring to California. He politely requests for his Mom to buy some gifts for his cousins and family in Gilroy, Fullerton, and Santa Clarita. He seems to be happy and relieve that he is leaving for good.

Mom, Dad....are you both going to visit me?

Yes, of course, son, we will visit you very often. Don't skip any meal, drink your vitamins, sleep well and eat good food, not junk, okay!

Yes, Mom...you instill that in my mind when I'm growing up. It's already in my system. May I repeat your exact words when I am traveling overseas with my cousins...."Take care of yourself always, that way, you're taking care of me and your Dad."

Do you remember son, when I told you that, we have all past life, whether it's happy or dark... it's past already, don't look back. If you learned something from it, learned the lesson. The present is your gift and the future is your motivation. You're traveling to your future, make us proud son...make us proud.

Mom, Dad...I will not disappoint you both. I learned a lot from the guidance and love that I had from my loving parents.

Hannah continues......this new chapter of your life is on its way to fruition....you have to be strong in spirit, you should be courageous in your actions but gentle in your heart. You will live there by yourself, conquer your fear. Discover your hidden gifts. Meet new friends. Be a source of positive thoughts and healing energies. And try to face each day with hope and joy.

I promise Mom to be a good person.

Ari POV

I know that my wife is hurting, Aaron grew up with us since he was 2 years old. She nurtures him. have to be strong for my wife and for Aaron's sake. Someday, the truth will come out. That time Aaron is matured enough to understand and handle the whole situation, and why we hid his true identity. I admit that Aaron contributed a lot to our relationship. My wife is my great love. Cherry separated us but she gave us Aaron to complete our family. I give credit to my wife for the success of our relationship and business ventures, she inspires me. The first time I laid my eyes on her, I am sure that I've met her somewhere...I believe that we've met from our past lives. We dreamt for many many years about each other, then the dreams stopped when we got married. I also believe that Cherry would like to alter our fate but she failed because a human cannot change their own fates or fates of other. My wife and I are predestined to be together.
