Ice and Fire novel Chapter 15

Jackson suddenly stepped forward and grabbed Stephen An by his collar. Taken aback by his action, Derek and Cherry both had no idea what he would do next. It seemed he was willing to do anything to vent out his anger.

Jackson looked closely into Stephen An's eyes and said, slowly, "Stay away from her, or you will be dead."

Stephen An did not show any signs of fear, as if he was already used to Jackson' temper. He stared back into Jackson's eyes, which were glittering with hatred, "Jackson, she has already been my target."

"She is my woman." Jackson said bluntly.

"I don't mind." Stephen An replied, "And I will make her mine, that's what I'm going to do."

What they said was only between them, nobody else could hear it.

Jackson threw a hard punch at Stephen An's face.

Stephen An staggered backwards a few steps, blood seeping from the corner of his mouth. Damn it, as a soldier how could he, Jackson, punch someone in such a reckless manner?

Some of the nearby security guards immediately rushed over to hold down Jackson. Stephen An stopped them with a wave of his hand.

At this moment, Cherry did not know what to make of the situation. But she rushed to Jackson and leaned into his arms, while staring at Stephen An.

Jackson wrapped his arms around her. She meant the whole world to him, and as long as she was besides him, he felt complete.

Looking at this unwelcome scene, Stephen An felt hurt. How could someone possibly fall in love with this guy? Apparently, they were close to each other.

"Stephen An, don't push my limits. You can't afford to play with me." He was done talking to Stephen An. Jackson lowered his head, his tone softening. He said to the small woman who was in his arms, "Let's go."

"Okay." Cherry nodded meekly and followed Jackson out of the bar.

Derek gave Stephen An a ferocious glare and then left.

Watching them go, hatred spread in Stephen An's eyes. 'Jackson, back in the old days, you took away what was most precious to me. Now I will take away the things you treasure most, just the way you have done to me!'

After getting back home, Jackson went straight to the living room and sat down on the couch without saying a word.

Cherry stood aside and avoided talking to him, knowing he was still in a foul mood. She asked Derek, "Do you both know Stephen?"

Before Derek could say anything, he heard Jackson's order.

"You can go now."

Jackson said, coldly. His order crystal clear.
