“Quincy, any explanation for it?” Mr. Gross asked with raising the paper slip and looked at Quincy with a twinkle in his eyes.

“No, it’s not true. In fact, I made it to help Ms. Kadence…” Quincy tried to argue for himself, no matter they believed or not.

Vicky sneered and watched Quincy to say, “Everyone can read the words. Now you are trying to deny it. What a shame!” She was happy to see this and continued, “You intended to cheat Ms. Kadence two million! You would go to jail for it for twenty years. I am calling the police.”

Then Vicky got her mobile phone to call the police.

Mr. Gross stopped her, “A moment please. Firstly, we should take him to the hospital to meet Ms. Kadence and Jane. Anyway, it’s really a shame for him.” He caught Quincy in his hands to stop Quincy from escaping.

Quincy got to know that Jane might also be involved in the trouble and felt too nervous about it. Jane was such a gentle girl that could break down mentally for the wrong blame.

He almost forgot his own trouble, rushing to go to give a hand to Jane.

Mr. Gross took Quincy to the gate and drove his car to the People's Hospital.

Then they got to Ms. Kadence’s ward in the hospital where some students were waiting. These students heard that the one who cheated two million was already caught, so they came to the hospital to see what would happen.

Yair and Anne were expected to be here. They supposed the one was Quincy from Mr. Gross’s call and were happy to see it.

Quincy walked along the corridor of the hospital, with his hand being held by Mr. Gross in his back.

“Hey, he donated one million this afternoon?”

“You were so amazing this afternoon. I admire you so much. May I add you in my WeChat?”

“I adore you! Could you allow me, the pretty girl, to be your girlfriend?”

Some girls who came along for the ride ran to Quincy and tried to attract him.

But Yair and Anne interrupted them, “Are you idiot? Adore him? Don’t you see what he is like now? He took the two million from Ms. Kadence!”

“Yes. He took such plenty of money. He is so crazy to get money by all means.”

Hearing these, the girls started to blame Quincy instead of flattering him.

“Ah? You steal money from Ms. Kadence? A liar!”

“These funds are for a new fieldwork project. You are an evil to take it!”

“If you were not caught, Ms. Kadence would pay for it by herself. She is a nice lady and your teacher. So, this is your way to appreciate her?”

Some girls got so angry to punch Quincy.

However, Quincy did not feel hurt that he should do. He would not like to argue for himself at all, only worried about Jane.

He was afraid that they would treat Jane in the same way as how they were treating him right now.

Careless about their beat and kick as well as mean words, Quincy just walked straight to the ward.

But he was stunned when walking into the ward.

Jane was in his sight and lay on her stomach on the ground with hairs in a mess. There was some saliva on the top of her head. He also saw some dirty shoe prints on her new ivory white dress he bought for her.

“Jane…” Quincy felt extremely sorry for not protecting Jane, and soon got mad.

He got mad to almost grab a chair to throw to the others and yelled, “Fucking you all the bitch!”

“No, stop! Quincy.” Jane shouted. Quincy who was so emotional to shudder turned to look at Jane with red eyes. Jane gave him a sad smile although she was too embarrassed now. She said, “Don’t fight with them. Please tell them you are not a liar, neither a thief. And take me away as soon as you can.”

“Okay.” Quincy put down the chair and walked to Jane to cuddle her. He started to make her hair tidy without caring about others’ presence.

The present persons were scared by Quincy’s rage just now, but at the moment saw them with laughing.

Vicky said, “Well, the thief couple are so lovey-dovey.” She stepped towards Quincy and Jane with her arms across over the chest and was proud to laugh and say, “Quincy, tell us which bank you deposited the left money in. Just give it back!”

Quincy was still tidying Jane’s hairs without seeing Vicky at all; he said, “I didn’t take any money.”

Vicky showed the paper slip prepared by Quincy and said, “Now you are trying to deny it. Ms. Kadence and everyone here, please look at the evidence. He is placing the slip when we found him. It’s so easy to read what was written on the slip.”

“Quincy, this is…” Finally, Ms. Kadence read the slip after it circulating among all the students. She was unwilling to believe these words on the slip which made her too heartbroken.

Quincy started to say, “Ms. Kadence, I intended to write this to help you…”

“Ha-ha, bullshit!” Vicky laughed loudly and looked at Quincy with sneer, “Since you did not admit you steal the money, I am asking you how you got one million to make a donation. Besides, you dined in Sofitel Galaxy Restaurant and bought dress for the silly girl at Beauties; how did you get the money? Tell us!”

Before Quincy answering her, Vicky continued to talk more to ruin his fame completely, “Or you want to say you won a lottery to get so much money? Tell me another one!”

Quincy hold Jane to help her stand up and said with a slight smile, “No, I didn’t win a lottery. But I have my own money. I get enough money from my wealthy family.”

Previously, to avoid some risks, Quincy would not like to let others know what a prestigious family he was from. Out of his expectation, he was badly looked down upon by everyone here and Jane was hurt to this extent. Why did he keep hiding his name?

Apparently, Quincy’s words shocked all who burst into great laughter subsequently.

Vicky never believed him and laughed at him, “Quincy, are you kidding me? You gave us such a saying. You are daydreaming for it?”

“If you are from a wealthy family, then I should be the queen. So, you should kneel at me now!”

“Then I should be the richest one in the world. You are merely a son of a rich family. Watch your mouth, kid!”

It was not only Vicky; nobody believed him.

Quincy got some of angry with them. These silly students did not know who they were talking with; Quincy could make an order to destroy all their families.

“Listen, all of you cannot imagine what is my family like. From food, clothes, other daily use goods, transportation, to schooling, medical service, cars, housing, and even the small sewing needles, my family goes into all the businesses. So, please stop talking nonsense with me!” Quincy watched everyone to say.

Yet it caused all people laugh more loudly. They believed Quincy got insane now.

“What is that idiot talking about? He would like to amuse us and then go absconding. Right?”

“We should make a record with our cameras. In short time, this idiot will be a new trending man on internet.”

“Sure. He is so crazy as the “Prince of the Galaxy” of two years ago.”

Nobody trusted Quincy but Jane. She never doubted him.

Another teacher from administrative office tried to persuade Quincy, “Quincy, we already chased your donation of 1.13 million back. Now if you give the balance back to school, I ensure you will get an easier punishment in school.”

But Quincy said calmly, “I tell you one more time, I donated my own money, not Ms. Kadence’s. I have never taken her money! Well, since all of you don’t believe what a family I am from, I have to let you see it by yourself.”

Then Quincy got a Supreme Card of Citibank from his pocket and clamped it with two fingers to show everyone. He said, “This is a Supreme Card of Citibank. I still have twenty million deposit. If any bitch doubts about it, just go to verify. But, if he or she dares to take away one penny, you know, you will go dead for sure!”

This card looked so brilliant. Unluckily, the folk here just heard about the Supreme Card of Citibank without seeing a real one in their life.

“This guy goes insane?”

“Oh, one has to deposit at least thirty million to apply for the type of card. How can the couple get this card?”

“No problem. We just wait and see him talking big! I am going to get a POS machine from the office to check.”

Soon they got a POS machine to the ward. Vicky would like to try the card by herself.

Quincy stood in peace with his eyesight slightly moving around. He expected to see all people here get astonished by the figure as well as start to flatter him. Then they would know how stupid and disgusting they acted before.

Quincy typed his password; to his surprise, there was not an amount shown but only a few words were there, “Out of use temporarily.”

“Hey, this is a really Supreme Card of Citibank. Such a high-class one that we cannot read anything on the machine.” Vicky laughed at him. All the others also followed her to laugh.

What happened? Quincy did not know. Actually, the card worked well these days and he even paid for a villa in Green Island Mall a couple of days ago. Now why did it have problem?

At once, he called Bailey Chavez, the key account manager of Citibank, to get some information about his bank account.

Bailey checked and said, “I am so sorry for your inconvenience, Mr. Lane. Since your bank account is under your family’s one, some of your authorization was cancelled by your family just half an hour ago. So, you cannot use the money at the moment.”

His family? His family just set him free, but did something to him again.

Quincy still felt unsure about it and called Mr. Amir.

He rushed to ask, “Mr. Amir, how is my bank account?”

Mr. Amir seemed to be in a dilemma and answered, “Young master, you have spent almost three hundred million these days after you are free to use the money. It is not so plenty, but somebody in our family does not believe you are ready and advises the master…as a result, you cannot use the money in your bank account for now. However, take it easy. I think it will work as normal very soon.”
