Love After One-night Stand with CEO novel Chapter 113

After Rosa came back, she was lying powerlessly on her bed.

"Sister, are you okay?" Cecil came over and asked.

Rosa perked up and looked at him. "I'm alright. I'll take you to the hospital for a checkup!"

She said as she grabbed her backpack.

"No need, sister. I called him in the afternoon. My doctor has something to do in the afternoon. He wants us to go there tomorrow morning."

"Oh..." Rosa nodded and muttered to herself. "Then... you should rest for a while, sister!"

"Sister, are you okay?"

"I'm okay. I didn't sleep well last night. That's why I'm tired now." She forced a smile.

However, this smile was obviously fake.

"Okay!"

Seeing that she refused to elaborate, Cecil didn't ask further.

However, he could more or less guess that it had something to do with Mr. Wright.

Lying on the bed, she recalled the scene where she first met Andy.

And also the time when her heart was shattered into pieces, how they broke up.

Then, she remembered something else.

She remembered that man, from when she mistakenly spent their first night together.

And the time when they met unexpectedly.

After that, one incident after another, how he had locked into his prey...

He had her wrapped around his fingers, unable to escape.

Everything that happened next seemed natural, but now it seemed like it was all planned.

He was the one who ruined their relationship.

He gave her no choice.

He was a heartless man!

She bit her lips so hard. It was so painful.

It was so painful that tears started falling down her cheeks.

But it couldn't compare to the pain in her heart.

He had always treated her like a toy, didn't he?

The more she thought about it, the more painful it was.

She couldn't hold back the tears and started sobbing as she bit her lips.

No one knew how long she cried, but she gradually fell asleep.

The next time she woke up, she heard her phone ringing.

Henry's name kept ringing in her mind like a curse.

Rosa stared at her phone. Right when she had calmed down, she became agitated once again.

The phone hung up automatically. In less than two seconds, the phone started ringing again.

Rosa frowned. After thinking for a while, she finally answered the call.

"What are you busy with? Why aren't you answering your phone?" The man sounded a little anxious.

Rosa didn't say anything. Her hand trembled as she held the phone.

"What's wrong? Are you listening?"

"Let's break up!" Rosa said coldly out of a sudden.

There was silence on the phone.

Rosa was a little nervous. She didn't know what he would say next.

Unexpectedly, the phone was silent for a few seconds.

He hung up!

Rosa frowned and watched as the screen suddenly turned black.

She felt uneasy.

Without thinking, she said goodbye to Cecil and rushed downstairs.

Sure enough, in 20 minutes, the man's car appeared downstairs.

The next second, the man got out of the car with a gloomy face and was about to enter her house.

"Uncle!" Suddenly, Rosa called him from aside.

The man stopped in his tracks and looked back at her.

Her small figure stood under the tree, wearing a white skirt. She stared at him with a frown.

The man's eyes were dark as he approached her step by step.

Rosa suddenly found it hard to breathe.

His gloomy aura was expanding. She could even feel dark clouds forming above him as he walked over.

"What did you say earlier?" The man's voice was so cold that it made her shiver.

Rosa bit her lips and pondered for a while before looking up at him stubbornly and said, "Uncle, let's break up!"

In the end, she still said it.

The man did not reply. Instead, he sneered at her words. The next second, he picked her up from the ground.

Rosa was shocked. She never expected him to do this.

There was no time to react.

"Uncle, what are you doing?" Rosa tried to escape from his arms.

"Are you sure you want to settle it here?" The man stopped and asked in a low voice.

Rosa instantly stopped speaking.

Settle it here...

She looked around to see if there were any neighbours looking at them.

There were even people pointing fingers at them. Of course, they were pointing at the luxurious car as well as its extraordinary owner.

"Do we need to talk? You said we could end it at any time!" Rosa was afraid of being alone with him.

"You're breaking up with me just like that? Have you ever considered my feelings? At least you have to give me a reasonable excuse!" The man retorted.

The next second, before Rosa could reply him...

Henry placed her in his car.

Then, he got in the driver's seat.

The car drove away in a flash.

Both of them were silent on the road.

She knew that it was dangerous since he was driving.

If she had agitated him, they wouldn't be the only ones affected if they got into an accident.

They might've involved innocent passersby.

Therefore, she kept her anger in control along the way.

"You haven't had dinner yet, right? We can talk about it as we eat!"

"No!" Rosa suddenly said.

The man frowned and turned his head to look at her. The anger in his eyes grew stronger.

"Go... go to Silver Beach!"

Rosa didn't dare to look at him and said timidly.

No matter which restaurant he went to, he would be recognized easily because of his status.

At that time, there would be an outburst of the public's opinion.

Henry didn't reply, but the car had obviously changed direction and was heading towards Silver Beach.

A moment later...

As soon as she returned to this familiar yet foreign environment.

Rosa didn't know what to do.

It was obvious that Henry was in a bad mood. He pulled off his tie and unbuttoned two buttons of his shirt.

Then, he unbuttoned and rolled up his sleeves.

"Tell me, what's this about?" He looked at her patiently.

Rosa stood by the window, her eyes wavering. She stammered, "Tell... tell you what?"

"Why did you break up with me?"

Rosa bit her lips and forced herself to calm down. "We're not suitable for each other!"

"Not suitable?" The man chuckled and said, "I think we're perfect for each other, especially on bed. You think we're not suitable for each other?"

Rosa blushed and glared at him angrily.

How could this man still be able to crack a joke at this moment?

"Is it because of Andy?" His cold gaze brushed past her as he frowned.

Henry seemed to have understood everything. Seeing that she didn't speak, he questioned her directly.

"Yes!" She answered without thinking.

"Do you still like him?" He stepped forward, grabbed her chin, and forced her to look at him.

Rosa looked into his deep, hurt eyes and said cruelly, "That's right, I am a sl*tty woman!"

"You're indeed a cunning little fox!" Henry pointed out.

Rosa felt a little embarrassed. Being called a fox wasn't a good thing.

"That's why, uncle, you should go back to Miss Baker. I am just a girl who's playing with your feelings. I'm sorry to disappoint you!" She turned around and was about to leave.

Little did she know, how would Henry let her off so easily?

He grabbed her wrist and pulled her into her arms.

"I don't mind!"

"What?"

"I can make you devoted to me. If you're still thinking about him now, it only means that I haven't done enough. As long as I am good enough to you, you will be loyal to me!"

Rosa looked at his unusually serious expression and was stunned.

"So your reason for breaking up is not valid!"

Rosa stared at him with growing sadness in her eyes.

"Uncle... please let me go..."

Her tone was incredibly gloomy.

She was just an ordinary girl from a poor family.

She didn't want to know and she didn't want to get involved too much.

She was not an item. She didn't want to be tossed around.

"I won't let you go!" He said firmly.

Tears welled up in her eyes and started rolling down her cheeks.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Henry quickly wiped her face carefully.

"Why are you doing this to me? Why?" Rosa pushed him away with all her strength. "What do you want? I really can't afford it..."

The man frowned, and his cold expression made him look gloomy.

"You were the one who threatened Andy, didn't you? You want him to leave me, or you would destroy the Wright family..." As she spoke, she became more and more uncomfortable. "Did you know that he almost died because of your selfishness?!"

This was the one thing she couldn't accept.

Andy almost died because of her...

"Are you pitying him?" He frowned.

Rosa looked at him in shock. "Are you saying I should be more cold-blooded?"

"If a man doesn't have the ability to protect his woman and could only commit suicide to resist, then what's the point of choosing him?"

Rosa was speechless and looked at him as she sobbed.

"You're so vile!" She shouted with teary eyes.

"Rosa, remember this. In the business world or in life, you can only get what you want by being decisive and ruthless. What is that kindness you speak of?"

He smiled and said, "Let me tell you, my sort of kindness is to eat silently in front of starving people."

Rosa sobbed as she looked at him, crying to the point where she started to hiccup.

"Why are you so overbearing?"

How could he do this? He has certainly done something wrong, hadn't he?

Why didn't he feel guilty at all?

There was a hint of heartache and displeasure on Henry's handsome face as he looked at her.

He stepped forward, wrapped his arms around her waist, and said in an elegant voice, "Not all women can make me overbearing. Everything I did was all because I care about you!"

"You—"

"To you, what I've done is indeed a little over the top. However, I have the ability to pursue everything I want. I'll do whatever I can for you to be mine. I would never regret it!" He said firmly.

Rosa was so angry that she couldn't say anything. She could only sob and hiccup.

"Good girl, don't cry. You're such a little kitten." He couldn't bear to see her cry, so he softened his tone.

"Uncle, why do you have to do that? Forced love will never last. Our age gap is too big. You're already old, and I'm still young!"

She was fuming.

First of all, she was angry because he always had an excuse.

The second reason was that she had nothing to refute him.

Therefore, she didn't hold back her anger any longer.

She even started to talk nonsense to agitate him.

"Old? Are you sure?" The man's tone instantly became gloomy.
