Glen's POV

"DAMN... I will really make grandpa train me once the vacation comes" I hear Ace ranted when we all stopped sparring and I was smirking widely since now I know that he won't tease me anymore.

"You believe me now" I tease while looking at him and he immediately looks at me in annoyance before he went next to me and sit beside me.

"Fine I will believe you, so tell grandpa that he needs to train me when we will visit them?" he told me and I eye him.

"Are you sure?" I asked while eyeing him and he eyed me too so basically, we are having an eye ball contest.

"I'm sure" he stated seriously but still I was not that convinced enough so I still eyed him carefully inspecting if he is really sure about it since there is no turning back, I told grandpa.

I then look away and took some cookie before I stuff it on my mouth.

"Come on Glen—" he cooed while gripping my arm and I immediately smile while I turn and look at him.

"You know that nothing is free right" I told him and he looked at me in shock before he sighs and then looks away.

"Are you kidding me Glen? I am your brother. Why do you always want something from me can't you also give me some without anything in return" he said in disbelief and I look at him in disappointment.

"I guess that you don't want it then" I told him while acting that I was disappointed and I was about to stand up but he immediately stopped me by gripping my arm.

"Fine" he immediately said making me stop.

I smirked in victory while I look at Mark and he was looking at me curiously and I winked at him and I was surprised when he suddenly looks away.

(Did I do something wrong? I only winked at him—well anyway I think that this is my lucky day since this idiot is going to do what I want) I thought while smirking.

I then slowly turn around to see my dear brother and he was looking at me with an annoyed expression making me smile even more.

"So, you agree then" I told him and he hesitated again making me act that I was going to leave again but this time for real.

"YES—yes I agree so just tell me what you want" he said in defeat and I immediately sit down next to him again while I was smirking happily and he was groaning in defeat.

"Oh, come on and don't be like that" I told him while I giggle and he hit my head.

"Just tell me already what you want" he said annoyed making me roll my eyes at him.

"No need to hit me" I complained and he glared at me making me immediately scoot away a little bit because who know if he snaps and hit me again and I don't want that...

"I said just tell me what you want th—"

"Are you sure?" I asked him seriously and he immediately went stiff and you could see that he suddenly got nervous and he was looking away avoiding my eyes.

"Uhm—"

I smirk and I saw him flinch and he faced me immediately.

"I warn you Glen-- that if you will make me do something stupid, I will really beat the shit of you" he warned and I eyed him.

"Beat me?" I asked while looking at him and I heard Mark chuckle and my brother snaps and glared at him making him immediately stop.

"Laugh and I will beat the shit out of you too" he threatened him and I just giggle while he looks back at me.

"Glen I really swear—"

"Relax dear brother I won't make you do something stupid—I only want you to pay my whole year lunch" I told him and he looked at me with wide eyes.

"W--HAT DO YOU MEAN A YEAR—NO WAY. One week" he screamed while looking at me in shock.

"Half a year" I bargained and still he looked at me in disbelief.

"Are you nuts—do you want me to go broke" he replied and I just roll my eyes.

"You won't get broke Ace. It's just a lunch—"

"For half a year. Nope I won't do that—2 weeks" he said and I looked at him in the eye.

"Three months" I said while looking at him straight in the eye.

"One day" he said and I looked at him in shock and disbelief.

"You're the one asking for a favor here Ace and I am just trying to help you" I told him but he still stand his ground making me look away and I am really determined to go if he won't agree to my condition.

"FINE, a month and that's it--"

"DEAL" I immediately said and I saw him look at me in shock.

"No, I mean one—"

"Don't even think about it Ace" I warned him.

"But—"

"YEESSSSS FINALY I WILL SAVE MY ONE MONTH ALLOWANCE" I shouted in joy while ignoring Ace who is still protesting as I do some victory dances along the way as I jog upstairs since you never know if he might again force me to change it.

(You won't get me this time and FINALLY I will save my money and buy that thing that I want) I thought while opening the door of the basement in joy until I heard Ace voice again.

"GLEN COME DOWN HERE IF I WILL BE ABLE TO YOU—"

"NO FREAKING WAY. YOU ALREADY AGREED AND I WON'T CHANGE THAT AND IF YOU WON'T DO IT. I SWEAR I WILL—"

(uhm... what will I do—oh yeah that one) I thought while I shouted again.

"I WILL TELL THE WHOLE SCHOOL THAT YOUR SCARED OF—"

"DON'T YOU EVEN DARE" he shouted back cutting whatever I am about to say and I turn to look back at him and saw him glaring at me while pointing his fingers at me.

"THEN PAY MY LUNCH" I shouted back and then I close the door and I laugh when I heard my brother scream on the top of his lungs.

"You think that I will let it go easy this time, no way. I need you to pay my lunch since I already told you guys. I'm going to buy something and I need to save some money" I mumble to myself while I chuckle.

"Dear could you stop that" I suddenly heard someone and I jumped in surprise and turn around to look at my dear mother.

"What was that for mom? You nearly gave me a—"

"You're too healthy to even have that and besides your creeping me out— laughing near the basement door while all alone. Somebody might think that you might have already lost it and got insane all of a sudden" she said and I roll my eyes while looking at her.

"Mom even though I am laughing all alone that doesn't mean that I already gone insane—maybe it might be you who is holding some cookies while still on your uniform. Mom do you have any patient here at home that you need to attend to or if you are going to bring that to downstairs—please mom don't scare them away" I told her and she looked at himself and she eyed me and I immediately know what does that mean.

(She got pissed) I immediately run away and went to my room when I saw her kind of step forward next to me.

"COME BACK HERE GLEN" she shouted and I shake my head and still run for my dear life since I still want to live longer.

(I knew it she is going to attack me) I thought while running away.

"NO WAY" I shouted back as I open the door of my room and I immediately enter and then shut the door.

"Damn that woman made me run again, now my feet hurts since I did some training at the basement a while ago. And my body is still hurting with my spar with Ace" I complained while I slowly dragging myself to the bathroom to take some nice warm shower since I feel sticky all over my body.

I then got out of my room after a took a shower and changed into dry clothes before I decided that it's time to head down since mom called dinner a while ago.

I then slowly look at my brother to see if he doesn't have any tricks for me.

I then look around and saw them already on the table and Mark was with him.

"So, he is still here? I thought that maybe he went home already a while ago when we had finished sparring" I mumble while I reveal myself from hiding on the kitchen door since I was peeking at them.

I saw that both of them had already changed clothes and they are waiting for mom to put the food on the table. I also saw dad was already taking a coffee while sis was with her doll playing on the other chair.

"What's for dinner?" I cheered while walking to them and my brother immediately turns to look at me.

"Look who finally decided to show up" I hear my brother sarcastically said and I roll my eyes at him.

"Mom what did you cook?" I ignored him and I asked mom who is now finally serving the food.

"Come and eat and you will know it" she just simply said and I hear my brother chuckle and I snap before giving him a glare and he just scoffs.

I groan at him before I went to take my chair beside my little sister.

"Let's put this away first, okay sweetheart. You will get it later once were done eating" I hear mom say while sis gives her the doll and she immediately fix herself and mom gave her food.

We said our prayer before we ate and the food is very delicious.

"Aunty your cooking is really good" I hear Mark remarked while looking at mom and I sure saw mom got flustered by what he just said.

"Oh—you don't have to—but anyway thank you for the compliment" mom said shyly while both I and Ace cleared our throat making mom look at us.

"Tsk—just eat your food already" she said suddenly getting annoyed and I just smile at that.

"Did I say something wrong?" I hear Mark said and I looked at him and he was confused making me chuckle at him and he looked at me.

"Well you basically keep on repeating that ever since you have been eating dinner here" I told him and he then realize it and he smiled at me.

"Well I don't come here often and beside your mom really cooks delicious" he said and I hear mom said something cutting whatever I am going to say next.

"Oh, you're overreacting to it—"

(More like you are enjoying it) I told my mind while I saw mom getting happier.

"Uhm-- don't mind those two and just eat, here have some more" mom cheered while handing Mark some food making me groan in irritation and I could also see Ace having a disgusted expression.

(Sometime you can't deny the fact that if your parent acts like this in front of your friends you feel awkward and a bit disgusted or—damn I can't find the right words to it) I thought while I decide that I would just better let this go and focus on the food since that is more important.

(I better let this go and just enjoy the food rather than talking with them and I'd better not talk about if it involves mom's cooking or else, she won't cook for us) I thought while I continued to savor the food and just ignore the people around me.
