I was delirious. It took a while for me to register what happened until it came to my senses that I came in her mouth.

I lost control. Who could blame me? She just gave me the best blowjob of all the blowjobs and swallowed every drop of me.

I stared perplexed at the ceiling as I tried to catch my breath.

I was forced to crack my eyes open. She was scribbling something on the note. For a second, I had no doubt she would be a good songwriter.

“Can you play that for me?”

“I love the feeling of your hand against my skin.” When she touched my neck to check my temperature, I closed my eyes and buried my face in her palm. Thank fuck, she still cared about me after what I did to her.

I sat straight and drunk the content. “Thanks. How long did I pass out? This isn’t how I imagined my first date with you. I was thinking of a romantic dinner date with candlelit, a delicious meal, and then we danced after that.”

She smiled. “We can still have our second date. What do you think?”

“We’ll have more dates to come anywhere in the world.”

“Sounds fun. You should answer your call. It has been ringing for two hours. Could be urgent.” I grabbed it from the sofa and checked the missed calls.

“It’s Krys.” My brows furrowed. She also sent me a couple of messages.

I dialed her.

Krystyn answered with her first bark. “Where the hell have you been? I know you’re with River. Where is she?” She then lowered her voice. “You’re not—I mean, I’m not disturbing, right?”

“Thanks for the concern, but you’re calling me to look for River? You didn’t even ask if I’m okay after the rain?”

She tsked. “Don’t be such a baby. Where’s she?”

“My girlfriend is busy, okay?” I ignored the sudden rigidness of River’s body between my legs. I didn’t know if I had the right to call her my girlfriend, but I had no plan on it back. “Go find someone else to bother. She’s writing some songs.”

“Wow! I’m so happy for her. So, you two are like an item now?”

“Why so suddenly nosy, Krys?”

“Where’s her phone?”

I touched River’s shoulder. “Krys is asking about your phone.”

She looked up at me with those big blue eyes, smiling. “In my bag. Why?”

“Why?” I asked Krys.

“She should check it. Her phone might be blowing with notifications right now.”

“Why? What’s going on?”

“I missed telling you that she started her vlog on YouTube. Can you please, big brother, put it on loudspeaker so that I don’t have to repeat my words?”

“Fine.” I did as she asked. “She’s listening.”

“Kai posted a clip on Instagram, introducing River. Since our big brother has 2m followers, they all went crazy asking, who’s the lucky girl. Before you’d go apecrap, Kai mentioned that she’s taken, so shut that scowl before you shift into your wolf form.”

“I’m not scowling. Even if dear brother’s rep precedes him, I trust him with River.”

 “Great. Now they’ve been following River nonstop on her IG and subs on YouTube. You should check it out, Krew.”

“Wow,” that’s all River had managed to say.

“Isn’t it crazy?”

“I’ll call you back. Let us check it.” I went to my IG, which was in private, but I was following River already. “Come here, baby.” I pulled her into my lap. “Holy fuck! I just followed you yesterday. You only have one-thousand plus followers.”

“Oh, my god. What just happened? How did I get ten thousand followers in one day? This is insane .”

“Let’s check out your channel.” I went to my YouTube app and typed her name. “I guess, you just become instant fame, baby. You have—”

“Fifteen thousand followers from two hundred! I-I don’t know what to say.” She had this stunned-looked that I loved.

“You should say yes to that guy who wants to collab with you.”

“Yeah. I think I should. Let me take my phone.” She went to take her phone. When she came back, she was just staring down at her phone for a full minute.

“Say something, River. What’s wrong? I mean, what is it?”

“I got a message from my IG, offering me cash to use their product and post three images with captions and tags.”

I shrugged. “Then, reply. But don’t take it right away until they increase their offer. That’s how to get a good deal.”

She sat beside me, seemingly in deep thoughts.

“Hey, it’s gonna be okay. It can be shocking, but I’m here. Kai, Krys, and Journey. We’re gonna be here for you. If you need anything, just kiss and tell me.”

She looked at me and smiled. “Kiss you before I tell you?”

“Yeah.” I smiled back. “Like this.” I kissed her.

“So, what are we now?”

I clenched my jaw and looked away. My heart ached. “It slipped.”

“So you’ve got a plan on taking it back?”

“What?” I looked at her. “No. I just thought—I mean, I was a little bit egotistic, I guess.”

“It’s okay, boyfriend.” She cupped my face. “I’d love to be your girlfriend, boyfriend.” She kissed me with a loud smack. She stayed on my lap as she scrolled some comments on Kai’s post.

“It’s funny how these women are crazy over your brother, knowing his rep. This angeliceyes said. I could take your place, bitch.” She laughed. “What the heck? Did Krys just reply to her? Hey, bitch. That’s my BFF you’re talking to, #doublebitch, and she’s my brother’s. Wow.”

“My brother loves attention. I’m good with one attention coming from the woman I care about,” I replied.

“Aw. You have every attention you need. I’m here.” She kissed me on my head. I thought it was sweet.

“They wanted to know even the lipstick I used, my mascara and dress.”

I typed something on my brother’s post. Hey bro, thanks for the caption and the intro. #mygirl #mywoman #myriver @riverrouge.

My phone vibrated in my hand. It was Kai.

“Hey. Sup?”

“Did you just claim her?” He laughed from the other line.

“Yeah. You started it, and I’m only giving them my confirmation.”

“Really? Congrats, bro.”

River caught my attention while videoing herself. “Hey guys, I’ll be posting my next cover in a few days. Watch out for another video and a possible collab with an awesome singer. I have to go, for now, because I’m here giving TLC to my man. Bye.”

“Krew?”

“Yeah.”

“I offered River a legal adviser if she needs one. She would definitely need it very soon. You can talk her out to accept our help for once.”

“Sure. I also told her about it.”

“Good. Anyway, I’m happy for you.”

“Tell Kai. Thank you.”

“Hear that?”

“You’re welcome, River. You’re part of our family now.”

“Thanks. Glad you’re not a bulldozer and a villain brother anymore.”

“Did she just say that I'm the villain of her story?”

“You were. She’s right.”

“Fine. Got to go. Don’t screw this up, brother. She’s a keeper.”

“Thanks for keep on reminding me. I won’t let you down.” I ended the call.

“You don’t mind, do you?”

“About what?”

“You heard what I said earlier.”

“Oh, that. I don’t mind at all.”

I checked her IG. She got a hundred likes in less than an hour. I sent my comment on her post.
