“You’re full of surprises, Krew.” I held a chair for her in the dining room. I prepared simple food for our morning date because it was four in the morning.

“Me too. That’s why I prepared desserts too.” I sat to her left.

“How did you do all these?”

“Nothing is impossible when my woman is hungry. Your stomach kept grumbling in your sleep.”

“Really?” Her cheeks turned crimson. “I was lazy to get up when you’re all in caveman mood.”

I poured her red wine into her glass. “Bon appetite, baby. So how’s your channel?”

“Dad did cook. He loved cooking.”

“I heard he once worked in the restaurant.”

“Yeah. Then they separated. That’s the worst day of our lives. Kai struggled so bad. Krys and I, too. But Kai did it all bad. That’s why he doesn’t do relationships. It hit him pretty bad and kept the idea in his head that relationship destroys people. He was in love with a woman once. Then she only wanted something from him.”

“I feel sorry for him. Kai is a good guy with a bad experience in relationships.”

I shoved another forkful into her mouth. “You’re beautiful.”

“You always said that.” She blushed.

“You don’t have any idea how you affect me, do you? I thought you always took my breath away, made me forget things every time I looked into your eyes.”
