Love to Hate Me novel Chapter 5

“Why are you here?” Says Salina. It’s abnormal he stays at home during this time. Normally, he comes home after midnight. Besides, he never cares about her.

“Well, did I disturb you then?” His back figure approaches closer to her, pressing her against the wall, which turns the lights on in their living room. “Click.”

The lights shine upon his beautiful madness face, he stares at her, sheepishly and ominous.

“Tell me, who were you staying these days? Look at you, wow, you look so different.” He grabs her chin and checks. His voice sounds normal though, his deep glares eat her alive.

“I just had business outside, for one week. What’s wrong?” She lies and feels his finger squeezes her chin tighter, like he is crumbling an egg.

“Wow, wow, such a good liar are you?! You full of shit! Stop fooling me around, you thought I didn't know where the hell you were all the week? With my money?” He yells out loud.

She stares at him deeply, explains, “I don’t know what are you talking about? I’m out for business, and it’s my freedom to go wherever I want!”

“Freedom?! Hah, you don’t deserve it!” He laughs all of a sudden.

“What do you want from me, Fabian?” She asks. She can’t hold her feeling anymore. She wants to split all out, her disease and everything. “If I die, you will be happy right?”

“You die? I wish you die! But do you have that courage? I doubt! A woman like you!” He teases back, as cruel as he does.

Gazing at him, she notices even she tells him everything, he would say she deserves it! Yeah, this is him!

“Have you forgotten your identity?” Asks Fabian. His words hurt her. Her heart aches.

“I’m tired, I need to rest.” She replies and walks towards her bedroom. He stops her at once.

“Without my permission, you can’t go anywhere, even sleep with others!” He warns her.

“Say what? I didn't...” She argues back.

“Then check this out, with your own eyes!” He throws her a pile of pictures on the desk, she astonishes.
