Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children novel Chapter 107

Chapter 107

Just then, the bell in the preschool rang.

School was over. A group of four-year-old children ran out happily. Dew raised her finger and sneered. “Your daughter’s coming out. She looks exactly like you when you were a child.”

She made it sound as if she had seen Melody countless times ……

“I’ll always remember how my two sons died four years ago. One day, I’ll make you pay with your blood.” Adina grabbed Dew by the collar. “If you dare to hurt my daughter, I’ll scrape the flesh off your body piece by piece!” The hatred in her eyes was so strong like an endless fire. Dew’s heart tightened for a while. She forced herself to calm down and said, “I’m your sister and the child’s aunt. Why would I hurt her?”

She moved out of Adina’s grip before she took a step back and coldly said, “I didn’t prepare a gift this time, so I won’t say hello to your daughter. Goodbye!” After she finished speaking, she turned around and left. She only had one purpose for today’s visit, which was to confirm whether Adina really had a daughter. Since the matter was confirmed, she had no reason to stay any longer. Dew then drove away. If she had stayed there thirty seconds longer, she would have been able to see Alden, who was running over quickly, Then, she would have found out that this child also called Adina “Mom.” She could have even noticed that Alden and George looked about 70% similar. “Mom, what happened?” Alden looked anxious as he asked Adina. If there had not been too many children surrounding him and his sister just now, he would have rushed over to protect his mom. Adina smiled gently. “I ran into an acquaintance and had a chat. It’s fine. Come on, let’s go home.”

Alden pursed his lips and could not remain silent. “Mom, that person was Dew, right?”

Adina became silent.

Alden had been smart since he was a baby, so she really could not hide anything from him.

She led the two children to the car before she slowly said, “No matter what Dew plans to do, I’ll protect you. Don’t be afraid.”

Alden said, “Dew was also in the car that followed us last time, wasn’t she?” Adina pretended to smile in a relaxed manner. “That was a misunderstanding back then. Alden, you’re only four years old, so don’t worry about the adults.” Alden was very sensible, so he did not speak again.

Since his mother did not want him to worry, he would listen to her.

Melody did not react to the conversation between the two of them.

The pretty little girl leaned against the window and stared out the window with her big, watery eyes.

They were at the preschool’s entrance, so there were many cars. Plus, Adina was driving very slowly. All of a sudden, Melody was attracted by a scene on the roadside. A pug had abruptly broken free from its reins, and it was running around wildly. Then, a little girl got scared and cried out.

“Baby, don’t be afraid. Daddy’s going to protect you.” A man came forward and carried the little girl. The little girl wrapped her arms around the man’s neck and broke into a smile. “Daddy’s a big hero. Daddy’s here to protect me. I’m not afraid of anything!” The two of them laughed as they walked away. Melody leaned on the window, and her eyes were filled with sadness. “Daddy…” she murmured softly.

Her voice was very low.

“Mel, did you say something?” Alden had good hearing, so he turned around and looked at her.
