I watched her dumbfounded and couldn't say anything in fact I didn't know what to ask and where to start from asking. She stared at me for a while with sorrow in her eyes so I couldn't bring myself to shout at her or be angry with her. What could she have done when she was in love? The things people do all in the name of love is unimaginable.

But she had said I wasn't her child so who was I and my father never mentioned having another wife before her. So I couldn't understand what she meant by that. So I asked,

“If I am not your child then who am I ?”

She wiped a tear on her cheek and confessed,

“I took you from the witch doctor a few years after being unable to give your father a child. I felt desperate, so I mean you could not be a genasi at all or you are a genasi who wasn't born out of mating. ”

I looked at her astonished and I wasn't alone, my father walked towards her and raised his hands, we looked on at him but he put it down and walked out of the room down spirited.

She looked at me and apologized,

“I am sorry but you will have to follow me to the witch doctor if you want to know your background because as much as I asked, she wouldn't tell me. ”

I walked away from her and told her I didn't want to know who I was and asked her why her time was getting over when she could always go back to take more concoction. And she shook her head and said,

“It's over because the one has been born and I promised I would when he was born. But I hesitated and wanted to stay with you all a little longer. So the day in turned into a wolf, I knew my time was overdue so I needed to go back to her.

I had visited her in the last few days and had never met her and even this time I went and she was nowhere to be found. And the concoction is finished. ”

I looked at her with my mouth gaped, from what she had said, my son was the one who they had prophesied about. So I walked out of the room with my head in different places, everything was happening so fast I didn't know what to do anymore. I got out and met Mia on her way to my mother's room but I wasn't in the mood to say anything, she saw me and greeted me but I didn't mind her. She looked at my retrieving back and whispered,
