The woman moved slightly forward with her eyes wide open and looked at the lady then she said,

“The chosen one is the son of the princess of the genasi kingdom. As at now, no one knew she was actually born before her parents were assassinated. ”

The lady couldn't understand why it was her then that had to nurture the princess since it was dangerous. And she couldn't fight anyone if they came since she was changing into a human. So she questioned,

“Then, why me? You said others had come your way before me so why didn't you give her to them?”

The woman sighed and said,

“It is in your hands that I saw her otherwise I wouldn't have known that someone like that existed. So like it or not, it's your destiny so you only will have to deal with it. ”

The lady then nodded and accepted her fate, the antidote was made in a few days time and she took it and became a complete human. She felt like she had never being a mermaid but had being a human all her life. And amazingly, she became more younger than her age.

The woman gave her three diamonds to start up her life before she met her lover so she could establish a good position in his life before the relationship even began.

She felt grateful and finally left the place in such of her lover but since she was human, she had to use human ways to reach him. So she established a business that every businessman would meet her for paper work every month. And if they wanted a loan she would give them as much as they wanted with little interests. And this led her into meeting him one faithful afternoon.

She laid back into the bed tired after narrating the story to him and stopped at where she believed he knew what happened after. The man sighed taking it all in and then said,

If what you are saying is right, then Nadia is a pure genie so if she gets hurt in any way, it will become part of her.

She nodded and said,

“I believe so. ”

Then she told him that, the book on the shelves was for Nadia to open when they start the war for her to regain her kingdom. It was found beside her when the witch found her in the oceans in the sea. She also revealed that it was in the sea behind their house that both she and Nadia came from. That was the reason she insisted that they built their house there.

They communicated for a while but then felt that they weren't alone anymore, their servants were all humans so when another presence came in, they all felt it. And they also felt their evil intentions for coming there.

The woman hurriedly got up and said,

Martinez, you must run to the secret passage. I will make sure they don't get to you and take the book with you.

But he wasn't ready to leave his wife behind so he took a piece of paper and wrote whatever that was needed to be written and what his children needed to know and stuck it into a bottle. He then rushed to the library and took the book, he conjured a magic on it and it became smaller so he kept it in the bottle. Then he came out to go and get his wife but found her nowhere, he wanted to go to her but he had to hide the bottle first. And the only place that came into mind was the sea so he vanished to that place but realized that anyone could see it if he just threw it there.

So he chanted on it and threw it saying that it was to be visible to only Nadia. As soon as he threw it, a hand came from the sea and took it. He looked at it surprised but then he looked back to see the intruders with his wife but they were pulling her on the floor as she moved with no energy.

They got to him and then started laughing then they asked,

“Old man were you really running away leaving your wife behind? I guess there's no love within you both. If there's no love, then there's no need for memories to last. ”

And in a second the man took a remote and pressed on it then boom, their house started burning.

Mr Martinez frowned and asked them for their boss but they didn't pay him any attention but came onto him to fight him.

Mrs Martinez laid on the floor weak but tried to stop them, one of them stepped on her stomach and she winced in pain. But then he stopped and kept his foot on her neck and gave out a smirk. He saw this and rushed to them, but the others fought him so by the time he fought with the others, his wife was already gone.

He looked at him begrudgingly and with all his might, changed into his genie, and in a second, the man laid on the floor lifeless.

Mr. Martinez took the man's hand and looked into it and found where their boss was.

He vanished to where their boss was and found him seated in a big chair seemly his throne in relaxation with his back to him, as soon as Mr Martinez appeared there, he turned towards him and smiled.

He felt sick with his smile and wasn't ready for chitchat so he started attacking him but every power he threw his way went somewhere else. Then he noticed that there was a force guiding him so he stopped and turned into an ant and started clawing around him to find a weak spot.

The man knew he was still in the room but he couldn't see him so before he knew it, he stood in front of him and held his neck. He then looked down and saw his other part then he saw that it was the king of the were crocodiles this instilled fear in him. And it became and opportunity for him so took hold of his power and started pulling it out. He then looked at Mr Martinez and said,

“Welcome to my kingdom, don't worry I will treat you well until the chosen one comes for you. ”
