Riley arrived at the hospital in time, luckily she was not late.

She put on her white gown and went to her working department. Before entering her duty room, she could see the waiting hall being occupied by a lot of queuing patients.

A few minutes ago, she was having affectionate moment with Euan in the luxury villa. Now, she had entered the waiting hall with a strange smell.

She sighed in her heart.

She did not know what was Euan doing now, did he accompany her at home? Or did he go to the office?

“Doctor, my chest is so painful for half a month…”

The patient’s words dragged Riley’s attention back from her absent-minded state, Riley nodded, “The initial diagnosis is angina pectoris, later take this report and undergo X-ray in CT room…”

Once she started to work, Riley indulged herself in the busy state.

Time passed fast in the morning, she met her patients one by one and did not have free time to think about other matters. At 12 p.m., all the doctors were off duty.

Riley raised her head, there were a few patients outside the door. They nagged that they came from a faraway area just to see Dr Watson.

Riley decided to work overtime.

After seeing the last patient with heart disease, Riley felt a sudden cramp in her stomach. She pressed her stomach hard with her fist. She was just skipping her breakfast, why did she suffer like this?

No, she did not only skip her breakfast, she was upset by him too.

Riley walked out of her duty room, all the doors in the department of cardiology were closed, the waiting hall was empty. She put her hands into the pocket of her gown, she touched the key that she wanted to return to William.

She should return him the key another day, right? Or maybe she could return him the key when they met next time. If she especially sent the key to him, she was afraid that he would think beyond that. She did not want William to expect anything related to her.

She walked towards the cafeteria, there were a few people there. Riley ordered her food and searched for a seat with the dish in her hand. The seats nearby were almost fully occupied, no empty seat for her. So, she sat on the seat nearby, there were two doctors having their meal opposite her.

When they saw Riley, they quickly took their dishes and walked away, they whispered, “She is the home-wrecker. This matter is not allowed to discuss in the hospital, it is weird and suspicious, so unlucky to see her!”

Riley held her chopsticks tightly, she put a vegetable into her mouth slowly. She thought that it was settled but she did not expect that they discussed and scolded behind her.

But who was the one helping her? Who wanted to stop the rumour?

“Oh, my! is she the famous home-wrecker doctor? The ace doctor in the department of cardiology, Riley. Tut tut tut, but why she looks like a person hated by everyone?”

She did not see the silhouette of the person talking but she knew that it was Moriah from her sarcasm. Moriah was failed to operate the surgery well, her hatred for Riley was intensified. So, she said loudly in front of so many people.

At the moment, everyone stared at Riley unanimously, their sights almost penetrated her body. The hospital is huge, not everyone knew Riley before, they could finally see the main character of the rumour.

They discussed a lot about her, the words were unpleasant.

Riley controlled her anger and said with no expression, “If your medical skill is not good, you can learn and improve it. However, if your personality is not good, no one can help you.”

Moriah bit her teeth, she threw the container onto the table, the soup splashed out onto Riley’s clothes. It was sticky, her white shirt was contaminated by a few yellow spots.

“You are the home-wrecker, do you have a good personality? He he, you are talking about yourself! Riley, you seem to be always cool and serious, everyone is afraid of you but you are indeed a bitch!”

“Yes, Ms. Pouchain, I was unable to control myself just now,” Moriah faked and apologised, in fact, she wanted to inform everyone that Riley had committed a guilty that she was the home-wrecker.

Riley almost blurted out the words “wife” but she thought that it was a stir now, it was useless for her to explain. She would divorce him one day, if more people knew about their relationship, she would suffer more after they divorced.

Riley sneered, “Up to you.”

After saying those words, she stood up and passed by Moriah. She walked forwards directly.

Moriah took a glance at Jeanne and knew everything well. Then, she teased viciously, “I have to remind you that home-wrecker should have conscience. If you have Euan to become your backer, you don’t tangle with Mr. Hardesty anymore. Mr. Hardesty will not like a dirty woman like you, don’t spoil his reputation!”
