As Lin Wen Xin is still very tired, she continued sleeping in Wang Shen Ze’s arms, throughout the entire car ride to the airport.

When she woke up, she found herself sitting inside a private jet, with Wang Shen Ze beside her.

“Xin, you’re awake?” He reached out and gently tucked her loose hair behind her ear.

She nodded her head lightly, “Mmm... Where are we going?”

“You’ll see very soon.”

Wang Shen Ze held on to Lin Wen Xin’s hand and led her down the jet. She looked around and saw that they are on a beautiful island, surrounded by the sea - with the clearest green water.

Wow! This place is absolutely stunning!

Lin Wen Xin would often see such an island on the internet and magazines, and would frequently dream about visiting it!

Is this a dream come true for her??

Seeing her blissful bright smile, Wang Shen Ze is also feeling extremely satisfied. He had been planning for this trip in the past few days, and kept it as a secret to surprise her.

“Xin... let’s go to the villa first. We can come back again later. Xin?...”

Lin Wen Xin is so excited that she could no longer hear what Wang Shen Ze is saying to her. Right now, she is just busy snapping as many pictures as she could!

Wang Shen Ze then turned around and signalled the staffs to bring their luggage back first, while he went over and accompanied her.

“Shen! Help me take a photo here!”

“Shen!! Can we go over there?!”

“Let’s take a photo together. Smile!”

When they reached the sandy beach, Lin Wen Xin immediately removed her sandals and rushed to the shoreline to feel the water beneath her feet.

Such a therapeutic experience!

Meanwhile, Wang Shen Ze stood a distance away, holding on to her sandals, and watching her have fun by herself. He did not want to join because he wanted to remain dry and clean.

But within a few seconds, he saw Lin Wen Xin crouching down and was unmoving.

“Xin, what happened??” He immediately went forward and asked worriedly.

The minute Wang Shen Ze squatted down, Lin Wen Xin used all her strength to push him backwards, into the shallow water.

With that, he is now completely drenched!!

Wang Shen Ze sat up in disbelief and warned her, “You better not let me catch you!”

Lin Wen Xin giggled uncontrollably and ran for her life! But she was obviously not fast enough and he quickly caught up to her.

He instantly lifted her off the ground and walked towards the sea, as though he was ready to throw her in!

“AHHHH!!!! Noooo... Put me down!!...”

Wang Shen Ze ignored Lin Wen Xin’s loud screams as he continued to move forward, until the water has reached his knee level.

She clung onto his neck tightly and did not dare to let go of him!!

“Shen... Please... Don’t...” Lin Wen Xin hurriedly changed her tactic, and begged him with a pitiful look.

Wang Shen Ze’s heart softened for her immediately. Actually it was not that he intended to throw her into the sea anyway - he definitely could not bear to do that!

But he just wanted to scare her and teach this girl a lesson for what she did to him earlier! And since he had already come so far, he might as well maximise this good opportunity.

“Strike a good deal with me and I’ll let you go.”

To which Lin Wen Xin responded without any hesitation, “I will give you a hundred kisses after you put me down on the sandy area!”

Sounds like a wonderful plan to him! “Okay, deal!” Wang Shen Ze turned back and the moment he placed her down, she ran away without looking back!

To think that he had closed countless of business deals to date, Lin Wen Xin is truly the only one who could fool him like this!

Both of them returned to their luxurious villa to wash up and prepared to go for lunch. Lin Wen Xin changed into a long flowy dress, while Wang Shen Ze is just in his casual wear.

The restaurant is seated at the edge of the cliff, with a spectacular view that overlooks the entire island.

They were being offered indoor and alfresco dining options, in which Lin Wen Xin decided to go with the latter, since the weather is quite good today.

After their meal, Wang Shen Ze suggested for them to visit a nearby local crafts market to have a look. This market is full of local artisans, displaying and selling their unique crafts.

Lin Wen Xin stopped by a couple of stalls and purchased several small items too.

As the market is relatively huge, there is also an outdoor performance venue situated in the middle.

Wang Shen Ze and Lin Wen Xin sat there and shared the small bites and drinks that they have bought, while enjoying the music performance by a local artiste.

It was indeed a relaxing afternoon for them and before they even realised, it is already time for dinner.

This time, Wang Shen Ze had specially requested for them to return to their villa to change into a formal outfit, before setting off to another cliff side restaurant that serves fine dining dishes, with a jaw-dropping sea view.

Lin Wen Xin wondered if there is any special occasion tonight, since he had gone through so much effort to prepare this gown for her. Furthermore, he is also dressed neatly in a black formal suit.

But as soon as she stepped into the large private area of the restaurant, all of her questions were instantaneously answered.

The room is extensively decorated with flowers, plants and fairy lights, but yet at the same time, the sea view remained unblocked. Lin Wen Xin felt as though she has walked into an enchanted garden, and the experience is simply magical.

There is also a band at the side, playing soothing background music that blends in with the romantic atmosphere.

As they continued moving forward into the L-shape room, the words immediately captured her attention, ‘Lin Wen Xin, will you marry me?’.

“This?...” She looked at him in surprise.

Wang Shen Ze smiled at her, “This is what I owe you, and I will make it up to you tonight.”

He added, “Xin, I’m sorry that I failed to treat you well in the past when we first got married. I have been a disappointment in the world of love, and more importantly, in our world of love.”

“Back in high school, it was my dream to marry you and even right now, it is still my dream to do life together with you.”

“From today onwards, I vow to only give you my best, because you deserve everything in the world.”

Wang Shen Ze then released both of her hands gently, and got down into a kneeling position. He took out a black luxury ring box and opened it, showcasing a 20-carat flawless diamond ring.

“Xin, I know that we are already married, but I still want to ask you this. Are you willing to give me this chance, to spend the rest of our lives together?”
