Mr. Sutton's Lovesick Girl novel Chapter 39

Justin felt his heart ache as he heard that. He ran upstairs, panting.

As Victor said, Eva was Lucia's life, if Eva was gone, Lucia would be gone too ......

Justin put down Lucia, covered her with blanket and then walked out of the room. He was full of hostility that made people afraid. Following by the bodyguards, Justin coldly said, "If you can't find Eva, you go to hell!"

Esther hid into a ruined warehouse in the suburbs with Eva. Eva kept touching Esther's face and suddenly gave her a kiss on her cheek, and then laughed out.

Esther knew that she sounded different from Lucia, so she kept her mouth shut to keep the child from getting restless.

She froze when Eva kissed on her face, and then frowned and slapped Eva's fleshy face in disgust!

"Little bastard! How dare you kiss me?"

Eva was stunned and thought her mother hit her, so she cried out loud, "Mommy! Mommy!"

Esther threw Eva onto a pile of old cloths, "I am not your lowly mother! Don't cry! Or, I'll cut off your tongue!"

Eva fell on the fabric pile, luckily, it was soft and she was unharmed.

She'd always thought that her mother was climbing the window and not talking because they were playing hide and seek, and she'd always thought that her mother had different scent was because she had worn different perfume, but at the moment she heard her mother's voice changed, she freaked out.

Eva couldn't walk, so she crawled down the pile of fabric as she cried heartbreakingly, trying to crawl to her mother for comfort; maybe her mother didn't mean to hit her, maybe she just let her fall to the ground accidentally.

In the process of crawling towards Esther, she suddenly rolled off the pile of cloth and fell onto the concrete, landing on her forehead with a thud!

Usually she had her Mommy to pick her up when she fell, but now her Mommy did not come but scold her though her forehead was in great pain.

Eva sat on the ground, looking at Esther, aggressively stretching out her hands for a hug, uttering "Mommy, Mommy, give Eva a hug, give Eva a hug."

Esther looked at Eva and guessed she should be about three years old, "You still can't walk at this age, are you a cripple! Little bastard! It must be because your mother did too many unethical things to make you a cripple!"

Eva looked so much like Lucia, though Justin was not her father, he still hugged her affectionately.

Did everyone have to look like Lucia?

Esther took out a blade and approached Eva's face, "Little bastard, if I cut your face, you won't look like your mother."

Born prematurely, congenitally underdeveloped and prone to illness, Eva practically grew up with Lucia's coddling, and Lucia would tell Eva to stay away from all the dangerous things.

Like sockets, like smoking water, like knives and anything sharp.

Eva ducked her face in fear. She could no longer believe that this was her mother, because her mother wouldn't scold her, throw her away, or come near her with a blade.
