"Ivan Marsh sent his men to stalk me, and he's always alert to me," Jennifer replied bluntly, "Think he has taken me as his family? A man like him will never trust others. He's heartless and profit-driven."

"No. He's not like that," Jordan explained, "Probably he's heartless to others, but he loves you and your children. I know him well. Since you moved in, his aura has become gentler."
