My Doting Husband novel Chapter 59

Hearing the words of blind date, everyone laughed out.

Harper looked at Edward and said in a sarcastic way, “You should first have blind date, shouldn’t you? Why? Are your grandfather disappointed at you so he gives up on you?”

“Urgh!”

Edward spat at Harrell and said angrily, “What do you know? Harrell came back by himself and put forward that he wanted a blind date. It has nothing to do with my grandfather.”

Sean heard the words and turned his head to see Harrell.

Although they didn't ask, they all looked at Harrell, waiting for him to talk about it.

Harrell lowered his head and said with a implicative smile, “Edward is right, it is the truth.”

Harper was surprised, stretched out his hand to pat Harrell's shoulder. He asked, “You are so excellent. Which woman is lucky that you have a crush on her?”

Harrell smiled and poured wine into his glass. He calmly said, “Now it's still early to talk about it, so don't ask. I'll bring her out to show you when I have the chance...”

Harper nodded.

Edward said in an enigmatic manner, “Why do you want to get married so early? You may think this woman is good, but the one may be better, don’t worry!”

Harrell took a look at Edward, but he said nothing. Their characteristics were different, so they had different opinions.

Edward seemed to have remembered something, he turned to Sean, “Sean, how is your wild cat? Why didn’t you mention her recently?”

Sean’s face became dark, and did not pay attention to him.

Harrell looked at Sean and asked with confused, “What wild cat?”

Before Seam said a word, Harper told Harrell that Emma seduced Sean.

While he said that, Harper could not help laughing. He said to Harrell, “Sean was so angry, his face was dark as carbon. Have you seen he be angry for a woman since we were kids?”

Harrell was surprised, “She is not Racheal?”

“No!” Edward said, “Racheal from a noble family would not do that, and you know that…”

Hearing that, Harrell was surprised. He did not expect that Sean would have a woman outside, which was incrediable.

Edward described to others how beautiful the “wild cat” was. She had attracted everyone’s attention expect for Sean.

Sean did not refute and no one knew what he was thinking.

The second day in the new year/

Entrusted by Julia, Sean sent Rowling to the airport.

Why she asked Sean to do so, because Wilson needed to visit the tomb with his grandfather, because it was the festa of his grandmother.

In the airport, Sean helped Rowling finished the check-in procedures, and then two people walked together toward the direction of security.

There was a long line of people waiting at the security gate.

Rowling thanked Sean for his care these days, and before she left, she gave Sean a bottle of beautifully packaged whiskey, which was not too strong in Britain.

After expressing his gratitude, he turned to Rowling and said, “There is something I need your help with.”

Rowling smiled beaming. “I'd love to. What can I do for you?”

Sean took a deep breath and calmly said, “I want all the information of the girl who donated her liver for me...”

Rowling was surprised, but finally she gave him an understanding look and nodded. “No problem,” she said. “I'll email you her information when I get home.”

Sean said thanks, and soon it was Rowling’s turn to the security.

Rowling smiled and waved goodbye as she turned and went through security.

After Emma had a fever for three days, her temperature finally came down.

Continuous headache and fever made her only sleep in addition to taking medicine.

She slept a lot during the day, so she could not fall asleep at night.

Lewis was not worried about Emma, but intentionally asked her about her impression on Harrell.

It was ok to ask once, but he asked all the time. Emma could not help but be annoyed.

Even so, Emma still nodded and said he was good. She did not say he was not good, because he had her handhold.

Every time she said so, her grandfather seemed to be in a good mood, once even hummed a song, which made Emma doubted if she was his granddaugther.

...

At half past nine o'clock in the evening, Lewis returned to his room to sleep.

Knowing that her grandfather had been regular in sleep, Emma calculated the time and popped her heard out from the bedroom.

Maggie was cleaning in the living room before she went to sleep and cleaning up the cups on the coffee table.

Emma carried a thick dress downstairs and brought it to Maggie. “Maggie, please help me wash it as soon as possible,” she said with a smile. “I want to wear this tomorrow morning.”

Maggie straightened up and took the clothes from Emma's hand, “OK, Miss Emma, I'll wash it now and iron it. It will be dry tomorrow morning.”

Emma thanked Maggie with a smile and watched her went upstairs with her clothes.

The washing machine was on the second floor, and soon there was a slight buzz from the room.

Emma craned her neck to look upstairs, picked up the coat prepared before, and tiptoed out of the house.

...

It was bitterly cold outside, and the air was filled with a faint smell of sulfur. From time to time, firecrackers sound was heard in the distance.

Emma walked out of the old street, stopped a taxi in the street, opened the door and got in.

“No. 45 CJ Villa.” Emma said to the driver in the front row.

The red taxi galloped up, and Emma sitting in the back seat looked out of the window in a daze.

She clutched the mobile phone in her hand, wondering whether to call Sean first, but what could she say?

As she was hesitating, the taxi had stopped at the destination, but Emma had not yet called.

After paying for the taxi, Emma got off.

Standing at the door, she looked into the villa.

It was dark inside. It was obvious that Sean had not been back here tonight.

Emma was frustrated.

In the distance, a pet store was still open. Its neon lights stood out against the darkness of the villa.

Emma had a flash of inspiration in her mind and walked quickly toward the pet store.

In the pet store, the owner stared at Emma with surprise.
