Finally, dad agreed to let me go alone. I'm taking a train. It's about 5hours trip from Trichy to Coimbatore. Aakash anna will be waiting at the station to pick me up. Six weeks of independence. Yay!

Dad reserved an AC ticket. That way I can be safe. Pch, It will be boring. I'm sure every passenger there will be old. What's the fun? He dropped me at the station and waited for the train to move. I know why my dad is waiting. He is making sure no young man boards my compartment. I'm sure if someone boards, I'm going back home.

I don't believe I'm doing this. But I truly prayed to god that no young man should board until dad leaves. Hehe there may be other stops. Someone super hot and handsome can board after my dad leaves.

Finally, the train moved out of station and I left a long sigh. I plugged my earphones and started listening to songs. Yes, We all 3 sisters are addicted to songs. Did I just see a handsome man crossing my seat in my peripheral vision? Or am I hallucinating? Let's go check.

I got on my feet and went towards the restroom. WOW, He is super cool. Manly and handsome. This train journey is going to be fun after all. But his seat is not near mine. What to do? Think, Dakshu, Think. I went back to my seat. There is an aunty sitting opposite me. It's a chair car. If I can talk her into switching seats with him, then he will come here.

"Hi aunty. Where are you getting down?" I initiated the talk.

"Hi dear, I'm going to Coimbatore. You?"

"Me too aunty. But I will get down at Peelamedu station. It's quite boring. There is no one my age here in this compartment."

"Haha, yes. All gents and of my age. It should be boring to you. It's boring for me too." she said.

"But you are lucky aunty. I saw another aunty, but she is also sitting alone without company." I said with a frown

"Oh, is it? Let me go check if we can switch seats."

WOW! Good job Dakshu. You are too good at this. Ha, You can handle your dad so easily. What's the big deal with this aunty?

"Huh sure aunty. She is in the 3rd seat from here."

"Thanks dear. You have a good journey."

Hehe It will be a good journey if he comes here. I started to listen to songs while waiting for him. I should maintain my posture when he comes in alright. I cannot show that I am waiting for him.

Finally, he came. Wow! He is of perfect height and weight. So handsome. WHAAT? He put on a blindfold? He is going to sleep? Dumbhead! How can he sleep when a beautiful girl is sitting opposite to him? He sure is going to die single. Huh, So much of my work went to waste, Cha.

He can't sleep peacefully. Idiot. I took off my earphones and played the songs in the speaker mode as loud as possible. He lifted his mask off of one eye and eyed me. Ha, It works. I turned away and started watching out the window.

No, I lied. I turned away but was secretly watching him. He looked at me and had a little smile. But he put his blindfold back and went to sleep again? What shall I do now?

I started coughing to get his attention. Hmph, No reaction. I took out my water bottle and ACCIDENTLY poured some on his pants.

OMG he is angry.

"What the hell! What are you doing? Don’t you have enough common sense to hear songs with your earphones while in public? you are disturbing everyone here and now you poured water on me? God, I should not have exchanged places in the first place." He is shouting at me? He is done.

"Hello mister. Mind your words. I didn’t pour water on you intentionally. Accidents happen you know. And about the songs, everyone is enjoying it. Except for some dumbheads." I said that loud enough for everyone watching our fight now to hear. Hehe nobody wants to be a dumbhead you see. So, as I thought, an uncle came forward for my support.

"Leave it, son. The songs are good for a journey like this. And no one will pour water on someone intentionally."

"Thank you, uncle. So kind of you to take up my side." I winked at the uncle and he smiled widely at me. I could literally count his teeth. He is missing 6.

"Someone taking up your side doesn’t mean that you are not wrong. Are you even educated? Don’t you have the courtesy to ask for an apology for your deed?"

"Whoa! Don’t talk like you are a phd in basic manners. Before I ask for an apology you started shouting like a ..." I stopped without completing.

"Like what? How dare you talk to me like that. First you call me dumbhead. Now you are about to call me an animal name?"

"I never said you are a dog. It's you who thought I'm going to call you an animal. Who knows better about you than you" I jerked my shoulders and he got all furious.

"Now you called me a dog? You are ridiculous. Just because you are a girl you get support from everyone. But you know what? No girl will ever behave like this to a stranger."

He tells me I'm not a girl? How dare he? Can he not see how beautiful I am? Shithead!

"Hey stranger. No one will talk so rudely to a stranger girl like you do for a little mistake."

"Little mistake? You drenched me.."

"Please leave it, son! You just ask for a sorry, dear. He will let go." That same uncle started with him and ended with me.

He just nodded his head and went back to sleeping. I'm so not going to let him sleep.

"Uncle you know a fact!? People who sleep during the train journey, that too in the noon, are said to have mental problems. No wonder he is agitated for my little mistake." I put on my best puppy dog eyes to that uncle. There he goes again.

"You call me a lunatic? You are so done. You will regret every word you said."

"I never said you are a lunatic. I was talking about something I heard. And I never mention you in my conversation."

"You said I'm agitated for your little mistake."

"I said 'he'. That 'he' may not be you. Why do you think I'm talking about you? You were sleeping right? Then how did you hear what I'm talking about? Are you listening to me? Why?"

"I didn’t listen to your stupid talk. You are disturbing my sleep with your peacock voice."

He said my voice sounds like a peacock? Huh he doesn’t know me. I ignored him.

"Uncle shall we play antakshari? It will be fun." I told that uncle while smirking at Mr.Handsome. He now took his blindfold off of his face.

Mission completed! 

He is all irritated. He glared at me and I winked at him. OMG, his face. He is shocked?! No, he is having a heart attack. Did I see him Smile? He did. The rest of the journey went with me irritating him and he staring at me. It was fun. My station came. There is my brother waiting for me. I turned to the stranger and winked at him.

"Bye Mr.Handsome!" I said and ran to my bro.
