D's PoV

First day of my work went with fun and embarrassment. The work Karthik has given me needs a detective. I mean, I'm no expert in finding the culprit. As far as I know, there are 3 other people who handle the quotation other than Karthik and Janani. They all look good and loyal to me. Of course, I can't say this on the first day.

At 5.30pm Rishi came to pick me up. He asked Karthik about my behavior. What am I? A naughty kid in school? Idiot. I never spoke a word to him.

After reaching home, I went straight to the guest room. I'm going to stay here until this stupid husband realizes his mistakes and leave his ex and commit his love for me. 

What the hell? Who removed the bolt latch in the door? I went out to ask Ravi. But he just came inside the home. 

"Ravi, do you know who removed the latch from the door?" I asked him, irritated.

"Who else will do this other than your husband?" He said, smiling at me.

What does he want from me? He won’t let me be at peace. What did he think of himself? He can do whatever he wants, and I should just go and cuddle with him? Don't I have any feelings? I went to the other room downstairs and there was no latch in that room either. He is an irritating fellow. I went up to confront him. He can’t do this to me.

"What do you think you are doing? Why the hell did you remove all the bolt latches from the Doors?" I almost yelled at him. I won't lie, I was scared of him.

"I don't like them." He jerked his shoulders?! 

"What? You ... You are a..." I couldn’t believe him. He is surely affected by split personality disorder.

"I am a what baby?" He asked me with a tint of smile, how I am falling all over again for this stupid smile! God, I am an idiot. I can't stay mad at him.

He called me baby? How dare he call me baby after all he had done.?

"Don't call me that." I spat at him.

"Call you what baby? I don't like you sleeping in other rooms. So, I removed the latches. Now even if you sleep in another room, I can bring you here." He said as a matter of fact. And my stupid heart jumps in joy.

"Why? Why are you so confusing? You behave like I'm your wife in a moment and I'm no one in another moment. You are hurting my feelings." I tried to tell him what I felt and he cupped my face with his hands leaving goosebumps all over my body and I just froze in the spot. I never want him to let go of me. He looked into my eyes as if he was trying to get into my soul.

"Baby look, I don't intend to hurt you. But..."

My phone rang. He stopped and looked at my phone. It's Praveen. Why is he calling now? Wrong timing. Why the hell is he looking at me as if he is going to kill me?

"Get out!" he yelled at me. He didn't shout but stressed the words that sent chills down my spine.What the hell is wrong with him?  He was all lovey-dovey a minute before and he is yelling at me now. I turned away and went to the guest room. I couldn't stop crying. He will never understand me or my love for him.

Ravi's PoV

I don’t know what the hell is wrong with him. I know for sure that he is in love with anni. I thought Smirthi was gone for good. But he is so dumb that he went with Smirthi to shopping when anni was with him. And the dumbest thing he had done was paying for her when anni paid for herself. 

I must give him a piece of mind. Even now Anni is all upset and went to the guest room. He can't hurt her often. I went to his room. He is all angry. But why?

"Bro!"

"What? I did nothing to her. She is the one who is torturing me." he raged.

"God! I truly don't know what is happening between you two. I know you love anni. What is stopping you from telling it to her? Just confess your feelings and start a life. Why are you hurting her? What is it with Smirthi? Just ask her to go away. Can't you see that it hurts anni? Are you out of your mind? How can you tag her along with you when anni is with you?" I tried to reason with him. He is not just my brother, he is my friend and a good companion. We have never been like brothers. He was actively participating in every phase of my life. I consider him my role model. I cant see him make wrong decisions in his life.

"Are you done talking? Smirthi needs me now. I can't hurt her. And I don't love Danya as you think. She is still talking to her ex-fiance. I don't care about her feelings. We are getting a divorce in 5months time. And it's not always me that makes mistakes. Now get out!" he shouted.

What the hell? Smirthi needs him?

"Alright! I won’t come between you and anni. This has to be sorted by you two. But whatever Smirthi is telling to hold on to you is not true. She is not the right girl for you. Please get rid of her." I told him. 

"Ravi please. You are my brother. But from this damn wedding, you talk to me like an enemy. I know what I am doing." he said tiredly. I can see he is hurt too. But talking out is the only solution and his ego is not letting him do the right thing.

"Listen to me this one time. Smirthi is not the right girl. You will regret your decisions later and that will be too late." I told him and exited his room. 

I went out to see anni. She had a fiance? She never told me about that. If she is still talking to him, then I can totally understand bro's anger. If what he told is true, then anni is wrong. I should stop her. I know how much she loves my bro. This will bring misunderstandings.I knocked on the door and went in. She is crying. God it really hurts me to see her cry.

"Anni! Please don't cry. What happened now?"

"Your brother has mental problems, Ravi. He talks all sweet like remo and immediately turns into ANNIYAN the next second. I truly don't understand him."

She talks while crying and I don't know, but I laughed. She looks like a kid crying for candy.

"I'm sorry anni. My bro is not anniyan. What did you do?"

"I did nothing. I went to ask him why he removed all the latches. He was talking to me all romantically. He even called me baby. But suddenly he yelled at me."

"Yelled? But why?"

"All because of this stupid phone. He was talking to me in his trance. This phone rang at the wrong time and his trance broke. He came to his senses and shouted at me."

"Hahaha. So, you think my bro talks all nice to you when he is not in his senses? Who called you, anni?" I asked her.

"Praveen. I came to your bro's wedding to see him and his family."

"You were about to be engaged to someone? Why didn’t you tell me this?"

"I don’t know Ravi. Was it important?" God she is so innocent.

"Anni, how far was your engagement?"

"Ha, I haven't even seen his photograph, Ravi. You know my parents. They had finalized 2 grooms for me. And they thought Praveen will be more apt for me and our family. So, they took me to this wedding to show me to them in person. Before I could see them, I got married to your bro. I met Praveen yesterday at the mall for the first time. He must have seen my picture. He recognized me and introduced himself. He is a nice man, Ravi. He took everything so casually. He spoke nicely to me. We even exchanged numbers. He said he will invite me for his wedding."

I just want to bang my head on a wall. My bro is a moron. He doesn’t know the full story. My stupid anni talks this long to me. But she will chew all the important info and spit irrelevant words to my bro. These 2 have a communication gap.

"God, Anni. Bro thinks that you and Praveen have been talking before your wedding and continuing even now. When did he know that you had a possible groom-to-be?" I told her what he perceived.

"I told him the day when Smirthi came home. How can he think like that about me? Your bro is an Idiot! So, this is why he said I had a lover boy?" She asked me in anger.

"What? When did this happen? You two are behaving like fighters in a ring. Talk anni. Tell your feelings. Confess that you love him. Everything will be fine." I tried to knock some sense into her.

"Every time I try talking to him, he yells at me or does something that hurts me. What should I do?"

"I don't know, anni. Sort it out somehow. You both are nuts. I'm out of here." Talking is the only solution and looks like they both are not going to do that. 

"Huh, wait, Ravi. You said your brother has not taken her anywhere. But you know what? Every Saturday he took her to Karthik's office. And every Sunday he took her to his boutique." she told me as if complaining to me. What am I supposed to do about that? I just told her what I knew.

"I know bro will visit Karthik bro every Saturday and his boutique every Sunday. But along with Smirthi is the new info. I see."

OMG, that's the connection. I called Prakash.

"Hello Mr. Prakash. This is Ravi here."

"Hello Ravi. What's up!?"

"I need you to keep what we are talking about now confidential. I don't want you to talk about this to bro or anyone for that matter."

"You can trust me Ravi. What's the matter?"

"Have you seen Smirthi coming with my brother to our office before? I mean has she visited our office with Rishi or alone before?"

"No Ravi. Rishi never brought any girl here. We were surprised to know that his marriage was a love marriage. Also, Smirthi has never visited our office as far as I know. "

"God! Thank you, Prakash. Bye."

My anni has no clue. OMG, I could not stop my laughter.

So, this is why bro got all angry when Dhiwakar said all this. So, bro understood that it is because of this reason Smirthi ran away.

"Why the hell are you laughing? Have you gone mad? I'm all crying here, and you are laughing. Stop it Ravi."

"Omg, Anni. I know the connection between Smirthi's run-away and Karthik's Company!"

"What? I don’t understand. First stop your annoying laughter."

I should explain this to dad also. My anni should wait until dad comes.
