My Wife Is A Gift From Heaven novel Chapter 25

"Lena, are you feeling very heavy recently?" Mrs. Huo came to see Lena with a few soft and digestible desserts. When she saw the tiredness on Lena's face and the dark circles in her eyes, she couldn't help but show concern for her.

"Mom, I'm fine." With a gentle smile, Lena shook her head.

"You should tell me if you feel uncomfortable. Don't feel ashamed or shy to talk your true feelings. " Mrs. Huo didn't feel embarrassed at all. She accepted and was happy that Lena would marry her son. After all, she was just like a nominal daughter before.

And after all, she always hoped Lena would be her daughter-in-law secretly. How could she find such a good girl who was as lovely as Lena to be in love with her son?

"Mom, it's okay. Don't you worry about it. " At first, Lena was a little awkward. But she felt much better after chatting with Laura. They talked and laughed as usual.

However, there was always a knot in Lena's heart. She really wanted to ask, 'how did Sherry come here? What was she doing here? '

She wanted to ask Laura for several times, but she didn't open her mouth in the end. The question was still kept in her heart when she returned.

Then she left with a heavy heart.

"Madam, Lena seemed to have something to ask you." Fannie sort of figured out something. She couldn't point it out directly, so she said sideways.

"Does Lena have something to say to me?" Mrs. Huo turned around and looked at Fannie, who kept a straight face.

"I think so." Fannie nodded with a smile.

"Then what could it be?" Mrs. Huo said with a frown.

"Madam, when Lena came here, she seemed to be very happy. When I saw her, she was standing outside the living room. Could it be?" Fannie said hesitantly.

"You mean?" Laura asked.

"Madam, I'm afraid Lena knows Miss Mu!" Miss Sherry Mu looked elegant and decent, and she knew what she was doing. But in Fannie's eyes, she felt she was a bit pretentious.

"Fannie, let's not talk about it anymore. Don't talk about it with Lena either. I'll handle it. " Laura stopped the topic.

"Yes, madam."

At dusk, Lena walked alone on the road, followed by the driver driving the car behind. After coming out of Mrs. Huo's place, she found the scenery along the way very beautiful. For the time being, she put aside the unhappiness brought by cherry.

"Miss Mu, I didn't expect to meet you here. Are you here to...? " Sherry smiled softly without being noticed anything strange and waited for Lena at the bus stop.

"To visit my mother-in-law. How about you, Sherry Mu?"

At the sight of Sherry, Lena was like a well-dressed soldier. She immediately raised her shield, held a long spear and raised her head to Sherry.

"Who is she?"

"I'm sorry. I didn't knew you are pregnant. "

"I'm here to visit a friend's mother. It turns out that destiny wants us to run into each other again. "

"Miss. Mu, may I invite you to have a cup of tea? There is a coffee shop ahead, which was a very quiet space. "

With an apologetic smile, Sherry totally forgot that she had already known that Lena was pregnant, and that she had also forgotten that they had a fight. Instead, she invited Lena with sincerity as if Lena was one of her long lost friends.

"Of course." She didn't know what Sherry was going to do, but she was absolutely not afraid of flinching.

They sat in the coffee house. Sherry ordered a cup of Macchiato coffee and Lena ordered a cup of milk tea.

They didn't say anything at first, stirring the cup in front of them and listening to the slow music in the coffee house. It seemed that they were in a green forest where the flowers were blooming everywhere.

"Lena, do you love Cliff Huo?" The forty fifth degree head just showed the most perfect side.

She was gentle and beautiful, intellectual and respectable.

Sherry looked at Lena with an unreadable expression in her eyes.

At the sight of this, Lena's heart tightened. 'Is this a moment of showing cards?

"What does it matter to you whether I love him or not?" Lena let go of the spoon and glared at Sherry.
