Mysterious Mr.Richard novel Chapter 19

Bonny felt puzzled. "Brandon?"

But Brandon insisted, "No."

It's rare for Brandon to look solemn. He was wary and seemed hostile to the man, which was unusual for a kid at his age.

"Thank you. We can buy it ourselves."

Upon saying that, Brandon dragged her sister away. He lectured her, "Don't accept anything from strangers. I've told you many times but you never listen to me."

"But he is so handsome. He's definitely a good guy."

"He's not handsome at all."

"Yes, he is!"

......

Richard stood up. He watched children walking away. He looked colder in the rain. He handed the umbrella to his assistant behind him.

"Mr. Zellweger, the two children..."

"Follow them. Keep them safe."

"Yes, sir."

Seeing Ted caught up with the kids, Richard returned to the car. He rolled down the window and lit a cigarette.

The entrance to the apartment was nearby. It was still raining outside.

But it was just drizzling this time. Only his driver was with him in the car. His phone had been vibrating.

"Mr. Zellweger." the driver reminded him carefully, "Miss Wood have called you a few times."

Richard looked outside, lost in thought. Confusion was in his eyes.

He saw the two children in the pharmacy. The girl looked exactly like Pearl.

But the boy looked like him?

Richard waited Ted near the apartment . After a while, Bonny came into his view. Brandon followed her closely and they both entered the apartment.

Ted reported, "Mr. Zellweger, they are very smart. They told the cashier that they didn't have a father. They get pity from the cashier, saying they don't have a father and how hard to be a single mother. The little girl even cried when she said that."
