Nobilis of War novel Chapter 1353

About eighteen thousand kilometers away from the Archean mountain, Darren and the others could already see its towering figure going straight into the thick clouds.

"Is that the Archean mountain?" It was Gatlin's first time to see the mountain. He immediately noticed that it was incomparable with the other known mountains. It looked so magnificent.

"Yes. We have witnessed how it came into existence." However, when Darren saw the mountain again this time, he somehow had a different feeling. He knew that its appearance was extraordinary, but now, he felt like it was some kind of a sacred pillar that was oozing with majesty.

As they got closer to the Archean mountain, they encountered several figures flying here and there from time to time.

Upon inspection of their bone age, they found out that they were equivalent to the cultivators around twenty-five years of age in the mortal worlds.

It seemed that they had just cultivated for no more than ten thousand years in the Primitive Wilderness.

Despite that, they were surprised to perceive that many of these young cultivators were actually at the Celestial God Realm already. Darren was thrilled and immediately concluded that that was what real innate talent looked like. Moreover, according to the information that he received, these young talents were disciples of several big shots, which would actually make sense.

As for Darren himself, he was quite a prominent figure to be summoned by three famous masters of the human race at the same time.

Then, about ten thousand kilometers away from the Archean mountain, a purple-colored mist, which seemed like a huge wall, eventually blocked their way.

"Before you pass through, we'll briefly hold an inquiry."

Darren and the others were suddenly surrounded by several armored generals who told them that they had to ask some questions.

"Do you have the letter?"

One of the generals approached Darren, suspecting that he should be the only one that had been summoned.

But to their surprise, Darren took out and handed three secret letters.

It seemed that something bad happened this time for them to be this strict in inspecting everyone that wanted to go to the mountain. It also made sense why several important figures had also summoned their disciples.

As the generals examined the letters, they were further surprised to see that they were all from very important persons.

"All right. You may pass," the general said without hesitation and handed the letters back to Darren.

"Sir, may I ask what happened inside?" Gatlin tried to pry, worried that Darren might be welcomed by an extremely dangerous situation upon going inside.

"You don't need to ask. You'll instantly know once you go in," the general answered briefly.

"Let's just go inside first and confirm it with our own eyes," Darren remarked as they prepared to pass through the purple mist.

However, the generals quickly stopped them and said, "I'm sorry but you only have three confidential letters, so only three of you can enter. That's the rule. The others should just wait outside."

"General, I'm his personal servant. Can't I go in?" Gatlin respectfully negotiated his request.

"We're just merely inspecting everyone. We didn't come up with the rules. Previously, a warrior at the Superior God Realm escorted his young master up to this point. Even he didn't get to enter. The rule strictly indicates that only those bearing the secret letter may enter. Please understand." The generals explained the situation calmly. After all, the people with the secret letters all knew some well-known masters. They couldn't make a scene that might hurt their reputation.

"It's alright, Gatlin. You can go back first. Lord Starry Sword and Finley's real body are with us. Rest assured that we'll be just fine," Darren said with confidence.

"All right then, I'll just wait outside." Although Gatlin really wanted to accompany them, he couldn't just insist on what he wanted. After all, he might also cause trouble for Darren and the others. Moreover, he also had a status to take care of as a warrior at the middle-level of the Celestial God Realm, so he couldn't afford to do anything rash.

"We'll go on ahead." Darren nodded at Gatlin and immediately went inside with Finley and Lindsay. The two of them were able to get in since Darren had two other letters.

Weber also followed them but was briefly stopped. However, he just took out and showed his token and was able to get inside. It was his proof that he also got summoned by his master.

As they went past through the purple mist, they soon found hundreds of young talents already sitting with legs crossed in the void.

These young talents seemed to be not sitting in proper order, but they were somehow gathered in groups of three or five. Darren and the others assumed that those who knew each other were grouped together.

Moreover, they also noticed that the number of people entering the area was still increasing. They were all warriors and disciples that had received confidential letters from famous masters and figures.

"Wow! Look at all those handsome men and beautiful women," Weber exclaimed. He was taken aback upon seeing all those elegant and good-looking men. But his eyes lit up when he saw the women that looked more stunning than the immortals.

"You disgusting fat guy! How can you still be in the mood to stare at beautiful women, knowing how dangerous our situation could be?" Lindsay gave him an earful.

"Who cares? They are right in front of my eyes! What do you want me to do? Close my eyes?" Weber dismissed what Lindsay said and continued looking at all these women with his eyes full of lustful desires.
