Nobilis of War novel Chapter 1131

The immortal, the Shura and the first fiend ancestor each got two ancient senior holy warriors.

As soon as they had attained them, they utilized secret methods to prevent the mysterious man from discovering and robbing them.

Having control over the ancient senior holy warriors meant already having the right bargaining chips to negotiate with the mysterious man.

Hiram's only wish was to destroy all the ancient holy warriors, and thus, it never crossed his mind to use them to have his way with the mysterious man. He had very nearly killed all of the one hundred thousand ancient warriors because of this wish.

But, as long as the mysterious man dared not use his most powerful means, Hiram knew there was nothing for him to be afraid of.

Now, the mysterious man was filled with rage. Since he had lost his grasp on the ancient senior holy warriors, it was impossible for him to use the blade and sword skills! He couldn't use his full strength at all for the Balance Law would suppress him.

Hiram soared across the sky with a domineering and confident aura.

With a mighty sweep of his halberd, a majestic cyan god's power shot straight towards the mysterious man.

The mysterious man stood motionless, a primitive aura surrounding him menacingly. He gazed poker faced at Hiram's oncoming attack, and didn't even try to dodge it.

Bang!

The cyan god's power met the mysterious man with an immense force. The mysterious man remained still as he was enveloped in a blinding yellow halo while the surrounding space collapsed.

After a while, the halo finally disappeared. Still standing proudly in the air was the mysterious man.

Everyone stared at the scene in shock. Without batting an eyelash, the mysterious man managed to withstand a direct blow from Hiram. He didn't even have to use any special powers to defend himself—the mysterious man was completely unharmed!

"The strength of the primitive aura around him is amazing. Even a god's power couldn't pierce through it!"

"Even a god can't break his defenses. He is unfathomably powerful!"

Finley and Barnes gawked in awe at the sheer strength of the mysterious man.

"Do you seriously think you can defeat me like this? You're too naive," the mysterious man said coldly. "Even if I remove my shield of primitive aura, will you be able to break through my defense?"

"Then, go ahead, remove it." Hiram decided not to attack again after his initial blow, because he knew very well that he was not strong enough to break through his shield.

"As you wish," the mysterious man cackled. Then the primitive aura around him surged for a moment before it faded away.

Once that aura dissipated, his true face was finally revealed. Finley and Barnes gawked with their mouths wide open; they couldn't believe their eyes.

"What?"

Looking at the familiar and strange face, Finley was speechless.

"Darren… How could it be him?" Barnes whispered mournfully.

The man looked exactly like Darren.

Even the witcher ancestor was shocked to see him. No one had ever thought that he looked exactly like Darren! The man must be related to Darren in some way; otherwise he wouldn't have kept saying he had to kill Darren.

Hiram, who was seeing all this from the sky, had a cold sweat run over him as he saw the man's face.

"Who are you?" Although Hiram had been dormant all this time, he was quite familiar with Darren and had kept a watchful eye on Darren in secret.

"Is it important?" the mysterious man said lightly.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Just then, a raging gray storm appeared in the space. There was a tinge of a strange aura of space and time spreading through the air where the storm passed.

Crack, crack…

A figure in white appeared, looking as if he arrived from ages before.

"It is quite important."

The figure in white flew out and landed in front of the mysterious man.

"That is...

it's Darren's avatar!"

The Rule Soul Avatar had suddenly returned!

He stood in front of the mysterious man and seemed to take on the appearance of the foe in front of him, but his aura was slightly different.

The mysterious man took one glance at the avatar and sneered. "Without me, Xavier Chu, Darren Chu couldn't have existed in this world. That goes for you as well, avatar. What right do you have to question me?"

"Really?" The avatar's gaze was cold as ice, raging with calm anger. There was a surge of law force in his eyes.

Meanwhile, inside the Godly City, an enormous army of ants marched towards a huge honeycomb.

They were dark and menacing.

The queen of the bees was petrified by the scene.

"Please help me hold them off." The little bee looked pleadingly at Darren.

"Promise me one thing first," Darren said calmly.

"But, I don't understand all your talk about belief or anything like that," the little bee rambled helplessly.

This sentence made Darren's heart sink.

Belief? This was the admiration from deep down in one's heart and soul. How could he possibly force someone to believe in him? Belief was earned.

Darren realized that his thoughts went the wrong way again.

"You're right." He nodded and continued, "Let's talk about it later. For now, I'll help you out by killing these ants."

"Okay, okay. Thank you so much." The little bee was able to calm down again.

Darren surged towards the ant army.

As Darren passed them, millions of ants were smashed to pieces.

Several minutes later, most of the ant army had perished.

Buzz…

While Darren was concentrated on killing the ants, a huge flying ant suddenly charged at him.

It was the size of a normal mouse. But it looked like a colossal monster for Darren now that he was in the form of a bee.

The ant gave Darren a dangerous vibe. Its power was as strong as a super emperor's.

That moment, Darren had no other choice but to rely on his physical strength! He shuddered at the thought of not being able to defeat the flying ant.

The flying ant rushed over, and it made an inhumanely terrible noise. It seemed that the sound waves it emitted could attack souls.

However, Darren's soul was powerful, so the sound attacks from the flying ant had little effect on him.

Seeing that the sound wave attack was useless against Darren, the ant began to attack him with its razor sharp claws!

'I must kill it before it figures out my real strength!'

To prevent prolonging the battle, Darren threw himself right at the flying ant, trying his best to activate the Augmented Attack Rule.

Bang!

Darren kicked the flying ant square in the claw.

He managed to kick right through it as it shattered.

Simultaneously, the flying ant's other claws shot out in Darren's direction.

Darren had already been on guard from the moment he threw himself at the ant. After the first blow, he quickly moved upward in order to dodge the counterattack. After making some distance, Darren began to dip downward.

'Go to hell!'

Darren screamed in his heart, and his leg fell on the flying ant like a divine sword.

Rip!

The flying ant's head was bisected by Darren's fell swoop.

Darren dug his front claw further into the ant's head and ripped the rest of the flying ant's body apart. The giant flying ant ended up torn into two perfect halves.

"Wow, he's amazing! He managed to kill the king of the black ants!" The little bee clapped her hands in excitement.

"Your Majesty, is he a god sent by the heaven to protect us?" The other bees surrounding the little bee all looked up at Darren as if he were their god.

"Yes, he must be a god. From now on, he is the god of our race, and everyone has to respect him!" the little bee ordered.

All the bees definitely feared Darren's strength, but they also found solace and safety in his presence.

Waves of invisible gray aura came out of from the bees who both admired and feared Darren. This aura converged in Darren's direction.

Darren's body quivered as he was invaded by the gray aura.

"Is this the Power of Belief?" Darren closed his eyes and smiled as he took in the gray aura, overjoyed.
