Alice knew what Janet was insinuating right away.

She wasn’t even sure whether she wanted to keep the baby herself. The thought that the baby will not be loved when he was born haunted her every day.

Sometimes she wanted to keep the baby, but she hasn’t tackled all the predicament in her life. Even the baby’s grandmother wanted to let her abort him.

She was willing to forgive Edward’s mistrust towards her since she did the same thing to him, but were they going to be happy afterwards?
